The best part is my area has brick and mortar stores where I just walk in and buy my meal prep for the week...Meals cooked in a local kitchen by real chefs with local fresh ingredients. I'm busy all the time and although I love cooking it's hard to cook for just one person. The majority of meals are 600 calories or less. An easy way for me to stay in my calorie deficit. “Honestly one of the best pizza crusts I've ever had. I had the focaccia spring special pizza - with squash blossoms and burrata. The Pear Basil Gimlet is one of the best mocktails I've ever had. The brussels are dark brown and crispy and melty. Plus - LOTS of gluten free options!

Picked up a salad today from Green and Grains and boy was I surprised at the portion! 1 salad was enough for my wife and myself; with leftovers for later!

Got to speak to Ian for a little bit and was surprised that all the ingredient are organic and locally sourced. Including the pickled onions being made in house!

For a guy who doesn’t eat salads, I would say the Asian chicken was the best salad I’ve ever had!

“I don’t normally leave reviews, but this restaurant truly deserves it. Our favorite Brazilian steakhouse ever! We go here very often, and every single visit has been amazing. We took my sister and brother-in-law there for Valentine’s Day, and they couldn’t believe David was the owner because of how hands-on, helpful, and kind he is with both the employees and customers. You can really tell he cares about the restaurant and everyone there. David always comes to our table to say hi, and he always makes sure to say goodbye before we leave, which makes the experience feel even more welcoming and personal.

The food is always perfect, flavorful, and well-seasoned every single time. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, and the whole restaurant is very clean — even the bathrooms are spotless.

“We stopped here on a whim as we were looking for something new after a workout class.

Walking in there were plenty of tables open. This place has an enormous bar area as well. It must have been a sports bar in its former life.

We ordered the Roti to start and my wife ordered the spring rolls with shrimp. I went with the roast duck over rice. The Roti was fine… it seemed like they put their roti in a panini press and just served it like that, so not a lot of flavor. The Thai restaurant down the street (infinity) has a much better roti. The curry dipping sauce was really good though. My wife said the spring rolls were “fine”. I really enjoyed my duck over rice dish though. The duck was moist and full of flavor and the hot soy sauce had a nice kick to it.

Service seemed a bit off, slow to get water for us and hot sauce, but everyone was nice.

I’d come back for the duck rice, but I don’t know if this place would get elevated to a “must return”.“

“I had the opportunity to stop by Mixt in Berkeley yesterday while staying nearby. Having moved to another state some time ago, my go-to location used to be the Oakland store. I was pleasantly surprised to see Sam now serving as the General Manager — it was wonderful to see her and the excellent team she leads at this location. They are doing an outstanding job, and I look forward to visiting again whenever I am in town.“

“ok so at first i didnt know this place was even a thing but the pizza we order was very good and there was code on our coupon and we used and it said we could get a free 2 liters bottle soda but we used it to knock down the price and so when we went to go pick up the pizza and we told the worker about the coupon and ect and they told us since we used the code to knock down the price if we wanted the bottle soda we would have to pay 5 bucks for it so we decided to leave the place and we arent coming back to this place“

“I was recommended Bloom pizzeria by my friends. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with excellent hospitality that made us feel instantly welcomed.

The owner himself was incredibly friendly, taking the time out of his day to chat with us and even share the story behind one of his best selling “Momo pizza”. If you’ve met the owner, you can tell how much passion and thought goes into everything he does.

The pizza itself was absolutely delicious! It was fresh, flavourful and unlike any other pizza I’ve had before. You can really taste the consistency of quality in every bite. On top of that, the layout was of the restaurant was amazing, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

As someone from the UK, my only wish is that Bloom Pizzera were in London so I could visit regularly. It’s a place that leaves a lasting impression and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and genuine hospitality.“

The wings are hella good and the garlic fries are always on point. They don’t have regular soda in the store but do carry craft soda and some beer. “This is a cozy little spot with great food! I got fish kadai, and my partner got a shrimp wrap. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I also highly recommend the mango lassi, which is so thick it's almost like a milkshake and not watery at all like some places.
Literally my only complaint is that the chairs are uncomfortable and the tables are small, but bigger tables wouldn't fit in the restaurant. You can get comfier chairs though!!!“
