“This is a new restaurant in Mountain View, in the San Antonio Center. It's connected to the new Hyatt Centric, and a restaurant I highly recommend. The Poke Tuna Nachos and Wings were perfectly done and full of flavor. Paired well with an IPA.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely love Urban Plates! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The menu offers a fantastic variety of fresh, seasonal ingredients, and every dish I’ve tried has been bursting with flavor. What really sets Urban Plates apart is their commitment to quality. The salads are vibrant and crisp, the proteins are cooked to perfection, and I can always count on their delicious, house-made sauces to elevate each meal. The option to customize my plate allows me to explore new flavors while sticking to my dietary preferences. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend their favorites. Plus, the commitment to sustainability and using local ingredients makes me feel good about my choices. Whether I’m dining in or grabbing a meal to go, Urban Plates never disappoints. It’s truly one of my favorite spots to enjoy fresh, wholesome food!“

“Oak + Violet is one of the best restaurants I've dined at in years. The food is prepared with imagination and great care. They specialize in locally sourced food which adds so much flavor and freshness to their dishes. They offer a wide variety of wines, even if you order by the glass. The service was great too.“

“Very nice casual restaurant, that I visited while in Sunnyvale. I had the salmon, roasted potatoes, and asparagus. My food tasted fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was clean and well lit. We will definitely come back when we are in town again.“

“An exceptional culinary experience at Protégé in Palo Alto. Every dish showcased masterful technique and impeccable flavors. The A5 Japanese Wagyu Ribeye was perfectly marbled and melted effortlessly, while the Crab and Caviar delivered a luxurious balance of brine and sweetness. The lobster toast was crisp, buttery, and indulgent, and the Black Bass—flawless in execution—was the best I’ve encountered. The Ricotta Dumplings , delicate yet deeply flavorful, rounded out an unforgettable meal. The shigoku oysters with whipped ponzu were indescribably fresh and flavorful. The sunflower Caesar, with its preserved tomato jam, was a unique and unforgettable twist on a classic. As for the brick chicken that we took to go, it was so delicious that it barely made it home before being devoured. The experience was elevated even further by the outstanding service—every person was kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to creating a memorable evening. A true showcase of precision, creativity, and hospitality“

“The last time that I ate dinner at The Flea Street Cafe was 40 some years ago shortly after it opened. It was an exciting new and different place to eat at the time. I remembered for years having had a great experience. Flea Street is still great. Every single dish that I shared with my dining companion was fantastic. Each unique with great flavor and something surprising. The wait staff was equally marvelous -- friendly, helpful and adding to a great experience. I won't wait 40 some years to go back.“

“Great spot in Campbell! Lira Restaurant is awesome. They have the coldest beers around, perfect for relaxing with friends. The menu is really good too — lots of tasty options, and everything tastes fresh and cooked well. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. Whether you're just grabbing a quick bite or having a nice dinner, Lira is a great choice. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Campbell!“

“This place is awesome! Came here from out of town to watch the 49er/Falcon game and ended up here watching the Oregon Game on Saturday. Ritchie was an amazing bartender that I feel I could connect with. I felt like everyone behind the bar cared about if I had a beer, making sure I was good. Definitely will visit this place again! And y'all are so busy!!! You handle it well 😁😁
Also, John the manager was awesome! Very personable and listened to what I had to say. Great job, y'all! 😍😍“

“Loco Moco was the best I've had. The gravy sauce on it was umami but also had a slight touch of sweet and sour (from the caramelized onion and maybe a tiny bit of vinegar?). It's different than traditional, but way better in my book. If you're very hungry, you can add a second patty for another $6 or $7.
Chicken & Waffles were great too. Matcha butter sounds a bit much at first, but I'm glad we got it because it goes well with the crispy & fluffy waffles. Crispy banana/plantain + strawberry on the waffle was a nice touch too“

“Food was great, service was excellent, and the vibe was unpretentious. Our young kids really enjoyed the dishes and we had to even order an extra bowl of just steamed rice 😅. - Milk bread = chef's kiss - Coconut fritters had an interesting combination of flavors and texture - Kohlrabi with pomegranate seeds was "super good" according to my 6-year-old. I could not verify because he inhaled the whole thing. - Meiji tofu custard with shrimp and snap peas: Another hit with both kids, which always equals a win. - Spanish octopus had the right amount of crisp on the outside and the right amount of bite overall. - Pork belly was a bit too sweet to our liking. - Banana milk soft serve with mochi and shaved peanut butter - Griddled pistachio financiers: We'd never had griddled financiers, so the bruleed financiers were a new treat.“
“Pretty average hotel. Giving it 4 stars given it included breakfast and happy hour. The bartenders and omlette maker were excellent and friendly. Other breakfast staff seemed less than thrilled to be there but overall went about their tasks and kept out of guests way. The rooms could definitely use some updating and the layout was quite awkward being right next to the stairwell. The room felt cramped and the bathroom small to maneuver in. Not sure if all rooms were that way but I'd suggest a different room. The hotel was reasonably close to some restaurants and easy enough to get around the area. Overall not a bad stay.“

“2nd time here. First time was for brunch and we enjoyed the food, had most dishes from the menu to share. Last Saturday was dinner. The ambience is so beautiful at night, big fireplace, just enough light inside the restaurant to relax and enjoy a good and relaxing meal, no rush. We had champagne, very good beer that smelled a little floral. We loved crispy quinoa tuna poke so much last time so we ordered it again, still enjoyed it a lot. We had Wood fired Branzino, wood fired eggplants, olive focaccia was excellent, solf crust outside and fluffy inside, delicious. Chickpea fritter and mango sticky rice with coconut cloud. We love the food, service, food came in perfect timing, not piling up all at once giving us time to enjoy each dish. Excellent staff. Thank you. Looking forward to our next meal there.“

“Service only assisted when chased down. The food was okay, nothing special and perhaps overcooked. Please , please wash your windows! The view is one of the best parts of your inside facilities and it was covered in a smear of dirt and streaks. Quiet and available for a last minute Mother's Day supper with plenty of parking.“

“Sat at the bar, by choice. Good selection of fine spirits, especially Japanese whiskey and tequila. Cocktails were very well made and balanced. We also asked for a mocktail modified to be “less sweet” than normal and it came out perfect. Food was great, not outstanding, but I would absolutely eat here again. The truffle fries were a miss for us since the white sauce makes them soggy. Burger and NY steak were exactly as advertised, possibly sous vide on the medium rare steak. The tempura mushrooms stood out to us as one of the best small dishes we ate. The Spanish Octopus was an unusually large tentacle, made me wonder how tender it would be. I prefer to have octopus more on the grilled side and that seemed to be lacking here but the favor was decent. The oysters were delicious!“

“This was my first time at Gish, and it didn't disappoint us. It was quite hard to get a reservation, and there must've been a cancellation when it showed an open reservation on the same day. Gish serves dinner only from 6 - 10 pm, and our dinner course took a full 2 hours, which meant they can only have two turnovers. It is a small place with about 25-26 seats total, with 4 seats right in front of the kitchen. They only have a single 4-course meal on the menu that changes every month, and you have to make a reservation in blind about a month ahead since there is no clue what the next month's menu will be. For December, the first course was tofu with winter green salad, which was quite refreshing, and we both enjoyed it very much. The second course, makgeolli mussel bean stew, was an interesting attempt, but it was a bit too salty for our taste - I think mainly it was the reduction of the clam juice and makgeolli. Toasted Manresa sourdough was great. The main course was beef cheek jjim, which was very tender and didn't need to use the knife at all. radish, kimchi, pomegranate, and mushroom somehow all provided a nice balance and interesting, unique taste. Dessert was goguma medley, which was my wife's favorite dessert. Overall, it was quite a pleasure, a nice surprise dinner for both of us, and we will be back for certain. It would be nice to give a heads up on the next month's menu so that people don't end up making a reservation then cancelling later. 2 2-hour dinner is nice for a special event dinner, but it may be a bit too long for others. I'd recommend this place to others to try, but be aware that the reservations fill up quickly, but I think many people end up cancelling too, so it is a bit of hit and miss. Very nice professional staff, explains every food and ingredient, and nice ambiance. Song selection can be hard to please everybody, but my preference is a bit lower volume. We will be back certainly on next occasion.“

“I cannot say enough about this restaurant! GOGA is the place to go for fresh, healthy, delicious food! Definitely Saratoga’s hidden gem! It is behind the UPS building with plenty of parking. The staff is wonderful, very accommodating & Chef Brads presentation & deliciousness of his fabulous meals is always 5 stars! We will be going back this Sunday for brunch with family from out of town that can’t wait to try it! Go GOGA!!“

“Lovely spot. Definitely a bit tucked in and hidden so I think it’s mostly meant to serve the folks in the business park. That being said I found it quite easily with help of the google street view image. The server was a lovely woman, definitely great service! The food was delicious. Quiet space with simple but nice decor.“

“Highly recommend Flowers for a special date night dinner. So many interesting choices on the menu, including the cocktails that it took us a while to narrow down our selection. Everything we chose was fantastic, nicely proportioned and made with high quality and fresh ingredients. The only disappointment was the key lime pie dessert. It veered to the too sweet side and lacked the tang-induced pucker one expects from key lime pie. Recommend you request a table against the wall. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant and were surrounded by noise which made it difficult for the wait staff and each other to hear.“
