“This is a do not miss dinner spot in Napa, staff, atmosphere, and food were all 5 star without feeling pretentious. They obviously have a good wine selection, but am still dreaming about the coffee and cigarette bourbon cocktail I had before dinner.“

“If you are looking for a special restaurant that is a hidden gem in the Napa Valley, you ought to go to Ember Steak at the Meritage Resort. First of all, the food and menu is amazing. Chef Nicole puts a special touch in each and every dish brought to the table. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable in regards to explaining the menu. Once you go you will definitely return. We tasted a number of dishes on the menu and all were so tasty and fresh. We also weren't rush like most restaurants do. We will be back!“

“We had the vegetables tasting menu with wine pairing. Each course was excellent in flavor, presentation. The wine pairing was extremely good and it complemented the dishes perfectly enhancing the food and the wine. The service staff was especially noteworthy. Very friendly, knowledgeable and does everything to make you feel at ease. I do want to mention Norma and Maria specifically for taking good care of us.“

“Overall, I’d give this restaurant 4.5 out of 5 stars. Our waiter and the atmosphere were fantastic. Service was spectacular. To start, we ordered the beef tartare and French onion soup which were divine. The mashed potatoes were delicious with a fabulous texture. The salmon and gnocchi were executed well but the flavors were a bit underwhelming. I’d skip on those and order a steak.“
