“A no frills, old fashioned donut shop that does a very decent job. My wife and I will often each order the Country Breakfast Croissant combo (I prefer the old-fashioned Cake Donut and she the Sugar-Twist) with a cup of coffee. The prompt and friendly service is hallmark. It probably won't knock your socks off, but the taste is just so comforting, that you can't help but wanting to come back again and again. Given how much overall costs have risen in the past few years, the value is still quite competitive, if not better, than going to the common fast-food alternatives that are around. If there was something I could speak to improve, the tables and chairs are often all squeezed together in order to make room for the off-and-on lines to the door of the place with the customers. Some additional time spent organizing or adjusting the seating, along with the more occasional bussing and cleaning in-between customers would certainly improve the atmosphere.“

“HOLY MOLY! i just recently got into liking apple fritters and decided to try this place out. thus far i’ve had 5 different fritters throughout san diego (i’m here right now visiting my bf) and so far this one has been the best!

this fritter had an amazing amount of cinnamon, apples, and glaze. the crispy yet softness texture was perfect, the edges are definitely my favorite.

my bf got a chocolate glaze and it was pillowy soft and super good, (this is coming from someone who doesn’t like chocolate all that much.)

the lady who gave us the donuts threw in a couple of donut holes and those were amazing too. i cannot put enough emphasis on how fresh everything here was!

if i want an apple fritter from here on out i’m definitely coming here cause the times i’ve tried new places since this one have just left me thinking about this fritter. i hope when the time i get another fritter comes it was as good as the one i had this time, though i’m aware that things can change depending on the batch!“

“Love this place! I went to this donut shop 30 minutes before closing and they had a large variety of donuts to pick from, and most importantly they were fresh and tasted delicious. Their donuts have a very unique and comforting taste, I don’t know how to explain it, but you have to try them. In my eyes, the donuts weren’t as big as the other reviews claimed, but they were a good size to say the least. I was pleasantly surprised that a dozen donuts is only $15?!?!! I’ve been going to Yum Yum donuts and I pay $25 for a dozen donuts that are stale, hard, and they often don’t have much variety by the end of the day. I’ve gone to other mom and pop shops and their donuts have also been stale on several occasions, so I was really hoping they wouldn’t be stale, but this place really surpassed my expectations all around. “Apparently this doughnut shop has been around for a long time. I driven by here hundreds of time and didn't even know it was there. I stopped in for a maple old fashion and a cup of coffee.

The maple old fashion was very good. It had those good crisp edges and soft middle. The maple flavor was very good. The lady Chen, dropped a couple of glazed doughnut holes in my bag and they were good. The coffee was very good. It was of the drip variety and it was smooth with good flavor.

The owner Chen was very nice. She was a one woman crew when I came in, and with several customers, the handled it well with a smile on her face. The doughnut shop offers a variety of doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches, frozen yogurt, and ice cream.“

We obviously go for donuts and recently tried their bagel sandwiches which we were really good and a great price. Portion was perfect and the bagel it self is good. “Just a hole in the wall donut shop offering traditional tasty donuts. I have to say with everyone describing the dough as fluffy.... they are spot on. There's something about it that's so soft and almost has the melt in your mouth feeling.
We ordered an old fashioned glazed and chocolate, as well as a chocolate twist. The gentleman that helped us was so nice and helpful. He gave us 2 donut holes for each of pur orders. It may not seem like much but this is a nice gesture for any guest.

My husband ordered the iced mocha coffee, he said it was ok. I ordered a hot coffee with cream. I have to say that the coffee was bold and good. I didn't expect that.

Definitely will be back for the good donuts and good prices!

Better value and better products and service than Starbucks, no offense. They are also open early and close late.
