“i tried ping yang on my lunch break today. it’s in a cute and chill market space, seems great for an office lunch out or families. the thai family who run it are really sweet and they were happy to help me pick something to try. ive had a lot of great thai food before, and this place is amazing! i ordered their honey pork rice and LOVE it- it reminds me of other thai bbq pork dishes ive had but the flavor here is beautifully complex with a really perfect hint of black pepper. i also had the chicken teriyaki gyoza, and it is extra crunchy and fantastic. i’ll definitely be back to try their pork belly dish, it looks super good!“

But's this time There was a party of maybe 6 women and they prefer to have the other entrance open so my wife froze her butt off for the whole meal it seems like it was below 0 degrees but all in all we still had a great meal. “I've been here numerous times when I lived in San Diego and recently came into town to try again. Would say this is by far, my favorite Thai restaurant that I have been to. The Satay chicken was tender and flavorful....Pad Woon Sen was fresh and light with crispy vegetables. Cream cheese wontons were great and served as dessert. “I come to San Diego often to visit my family, and during one visit I was craving Thai food so we looked up a place nearby and this restaurant came up. Luck was on our side because this turned out to be such a great meal! When my family and I came in we needed a table to seat 6 people and they quickly got a table together for us. I ordered the red curry with vegetables and this place truly lived up to its name! The ingredients tasted fresh and the curry was so delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. As we ate and talked we saw a lot of people come in to pick up take out orders, no one else came to dine in. There are a few tables though and I suggest dining in at least once a - we were able to meet the chef/owner and he was such a nice guy. Really seemed to care about each plate that came out. “Slurp is one of the many food stalls inside Liberty Public Market, serving up a mix of Thai and Chinese inspired dishes. While I wouldn’t call it the best spot in the market, it’s definitely one of my personal favorites.

We ordered the BBQ Pork Wonton Bowl, Thai Crab Omelet, and Spicy Basil Fried Rice and every dish delivered. The seasoning and spices were dialed in perfectly, and everything came out hot, fresh, and made to order. The standout for me was easily the Thai Crab Omelet. It was straight up addictive, with a bold, fresh crab flavor that really shined.

Another thing worth mentioning, they don’t skimp on portions. You’re definitely leaving full and satisfied.

Pro tip: Roll in with a few friends and order a variety of dishes to share. That’s the best way to experience what they’ve got going on.“

“We discovered this restaurant pre-pandemic. Im glad it made it through. We have a calm dinner. Place was not busy during our visit. Guess thats the advantage of going out on a weekday night, with foggy weather.
We enjoyed our brisket pho. Meat slices were thick, wish they were tender and the broth was good, might need to be less salt. Tofu pad thai was good, i opt for mild spice 4/10, in case my toddler wants to try it. Me and my husband loved the Ka Na Moo Krob.
We don't know whats it in the water other than the lemon, but it taste good. We appreciate being given big bottles if water instead of waiting for someone to refill. And thank you for keeping the washroom clean.“
