“I admire this restaurant! They provide delicious food, their menu is varied, The chef in that place is very experienced, I like a lot eating all their food. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the guests is friendly. I visit often this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend this place.“

“This hidden jem will not disappoint. The food is on point and deliciously fresh and tantalizing! They have a menu that fits every type of eater, including vegetarian selections and healthy tidbits. For those who love to indulge, mouth waters glasses of ice-cold milk shakes dipped in chocolate await you, with leftovers in the container and a spoon! There are waffles with maple syrup, Hawaiian pineapple chicken sandwiches, Serrano peppers mixed in with scrambled eggs, and kids menu items that can feed two very hungry preschools from a single plate. I always have leftovers. And to top it off, the prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the huge portion sizes. “I was first introduced to Bright Spark In March at the Ventura Beer Experience. We talked with a lovely couple behind the table and tasted Day Trip, which has become my all-time favorite. We were introduced to a concept called Musical Bingo that day, and I was delighted to make my first visit to the brewery on my 55th birthday in May. Every single one of the employees there was kind, gracious, and warm. The food was absolutely amazing and the Musical Bingo is so much fun! I have since been dragging people left and right there and recommending you guys because of what a great laid back family-friendly atmosphere it is. “I had jury duty at the Ventura courthouse and when I was through, I was starving so I decided to go to eggs and things I ordered the chorizo, scrambled eggs, and English muffin with strawberry raspberry preserves and then of course you get the Swedish pancake, which is exactly why I’m so obsessed with this place. The service was spectacular. I got iced tea to drink. I never waited for anything. Everything was always there. The owner of the of the restaurant was so nice. Make sure everything was good. I can’t wait to go back. I’ll actually make a special trip to go to that exit and things particularly cause the service was so great and the honor was so nice.“

Abby was our waitress, and she did an outstanding job. I would absolutely give her 5 stars! She was genuinely kind, attentive, professional, and made us feel welcomed throughout our entire meal. She checked on us regularly, had a positive attitude, and truly made our dining experience enjoyable. Employees like Abby make a big difference, and I hope she’s recognized for her excellent customer service.

At the beginning of our visit, an older Hispanic woman initially approached our table to take our order. She did not greet us, smile, or make us feel welcomed, and the interaction felt very impersonal. Fortunately, Abby ended up taking over our table, and the atmosphere completely changed for the better.

“We were in town and headed here for lunch on a weekday. We wanted to sit inside and there was a 10 minute wait for a booth, not too bad. Sal was our server and he was great! He checked in on us, noticed and asked if wanted things replenished. We ordered the the Chicken Chipotle Pasta, the Asian Tenderloin Noodle Bowl, and a side of mashed potatoes. The food was delicious. The food portions are big. I probably ate a quarter of my pasta and my wife ate half of her noodle bowl. There are times where I do feel like I'm overpaying for a meal, but I'm aware of that prior to eating here, which is about once a year. We went on National Cheesecake Day, so slices were half off, which was great. We ordered the Celebration Cheesecake and that was good.“

“I have visited The Cave twice, a week apart. The first time was for a wine pairing dinner, which we did with another couple. There were 5 courses (appetizer, salad, two entree courses, and dessert) and each dish was delicious. We decided to return a week later to see if it would be as good for just an ordinary night out. The restaurant was not too busy (it was a Tuesday) but each of the dishes we enjoyed was well prepared and very good. We ordered the Macadamia Crusted Salmon, a chicken special stuffed with goat cheese and spinach, and another chicken dish. The restaurant is attached to a wine shop, and if you don't want to sample wines by the ounce or order wine off the restaurant list, you can go into the shop and choose from literally hundreds of wines at all price points and then bring the bottle into the restaurant where they will serve the wine for a very minimal ($10) corkage fee. Done be put off by its location in an industrial park. This place is a gem! Inside it looks like a wine cave and they usually have some quiet live music at dinner time. This is definitely one of the better dinner spots in Ventura!“

“I love the Westlake location so while in Camarillo for dinner with a friend I recommended Finneys. Whenever I visit the Cali this is on my list of top restaurants. This location is just as nice with indoor/outdoor seating but much larger.

The service and food were both good both good and consistent with the other location. I like that they offer many gluten friendly options so I am not limited to grilled chicken and salad (but they have that too). My must have is the buffalo cauliflower.....SO GOOD!“
