“This place not only does coffee, they also bake all their pastries and bagels! Located behind the Nevada City SPD, sitting atop the Saw Shop, is this quaint little spot. They have lunch specials- my favorite is their Friday Hamburger. Burger (from spd butcher) , homemade bun, avo, bacon and TLC (see what I did there? ) with a side of fries for 8 bucks! Even if it went up, I don't even think it's 10.00. So worth it. Simplicity at its finest. Coffee is great and the family has a long history as bakers in these hills. I also love their ham & cheese croissants. CASH ONLY, but a quick stop in spd can solve that issue.“

I opted for a London Fog tea--Earl Grey with creamy froth and a hint of honey--and it was absolutely divine! It was a 45-minute drive for me to get there and try this wonderful place, I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. The staff seemed to know everyone, giving the place a cozy, welcoming vibe that felt like being at home. The décor, a mix of modern and natural elements, stole my heart.
