“This place not only does coffee, they also bake all their pastries and bagels! Located behind the Nevada City SPD, sitting atop the Saw Shop, is this quaint little spot. They have lunch specials- my favorite is their Friday Hamburger. Burger (from spd butcher) , homemade bun, avo, bacon and TLC (see what I did there? ) with a side of fries for 8 bucks! Even if it went up, I don't even think it's 10.00. So worth it. Simplicity at its finest. Coffee is great and the family has a long history as bakers in these hills. I also love their ham & cheese croissants. CASH ONLY, but a quick stop in spd can solve that issue.“

“Can't pass Grass Valley without a stop at Cake! Baguette a must, 1 now, 1 for later. Have had amazing sandwiches and cookies. Last week I bought an incredible lemon cake with toasted meringue!! Love the atmosphere, staff and kudos to the owner who upholds a safe environment for all! See you soon!“
“What can I say!? I prefer Peet's over Starbucks any day,; I love their coffee! So this piece was in Raley's supermarket in Auburn. the older lady who helped me was a delight! Great sense of humor and very accommodating to help out. I only use stevia,, usually, when it's available and she gave me some out of her own personal stash! Oh, actually I was supposed to keep it a secret so don't tell her I told you 🎧“

“Update: I was willing to give it another try. This time I was not disappointed. It started while the drink was being Blended. They picked up the cup and showed it some love with some Caramel 😍😍😍 I felt my mood change from a pick me up to excited delight. Knowing I had a great treat to look forward to the dopamine boost was primed and waiting for that first sweet, warm and cold sip. Very very pleased with this time. Will include old review to show that there was an issue and you can see the difference 🥰

Original: After waiting 20 minutes + for my Caramel Frappuccino I was given what I could only describe as a basic Frappuccino. They quickly took care of a drink order just before mine and made mine and then one person wondered off leaving one to deal with the counter while my drink just needed the Carmel and the lid. And as you could see no Caramel. After waiting as long I did I just wanted to leave.“
