“While basking under the golden glow of the twin arches I started to ponder on what my 1st and last meal of the day would be. In a final act of desperation to avoid a maybe it's made of a pink paste meat meal I threw my lot in with a rando food near me search. Lo and behold Simply pasta pops up. And it was super close. As I walked in, I was greeted promptly, the lady was very courteous and helpful. My expectations were not high, but WoW, I was pleasantly surprised. My pasta was cooked perfectly. The spinach in my pasta wasn't just an afterthought. The garlic bread was done right. The soup of the day was like a corn chicken Chowder. Something I was shocked to know that I liked. My green apple drink might be my new addiction. Overall this place is a definite 4.7- 4.8. The meatballs in the pasta were so-so. Other than that I enjoyed my meal.“

“This is our favorite restaurant! The food is exceptional, uniquely Sicilian. The outdoor dining on a sunny day is special. But what makes this place over the top is the extraordinary caring of Brenda, one of the owners. When my wife's meal was not entirely to her satisfaction, Brenda went well beyond anything that was called for to make everything right. My wife left raving again about Caffe Riace and what a wonderful place it is. Come. You'll be glad you did. And did I mention that the Tiramisu is like no other.“

“I visited this Olive Garden a while back with a friend. The first thing that hit me was the strong smell of cheese—it reminded me of the scent you get upon entering, which isn't necessarily the most inviting. We were starving, so we quickly ordered a glass of red blend wine each, along with minestrone soup, Caesar salad, and chicken pasta.
Our server was fantastic and very attentive. However, the food was just okay. We both agreed that it used to be better in the past. We were too full for dessert, so we ended up chatting for a while before heading out.

“Bistro Elan is a member of that most elusive club of always sought after seldom found neighborhood gems where the food is exquisite, the service excellent, the dining room tiny — though there are a few more tables outside— and the clientele quiet well dressed locals who have eaten there for years, never having been disappointed. The menu that changes with the seasons is always surprising but never overdone. The food is interesting but above all delicious and the portions are generous. Reservations very much recommended.“

Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. “Had a team dinner here and they were able to accommodate a same day reservation for a group of 9 people. We weren’t able to get a table inside since they had another big party but the weather was so nice out that we all enjoyed eating outside on the patio. We ordered a few apps to share. My favorite was the calamari. Their focaccia bread was soft and delicious. I got the chicken parm which was pretty mediocre but coworker seemed to enjoy their pasta dishes.“

“Classic Stanford spot, I’ve been going here for a long time. I think it is only open for breakfast and lunch, but I’ve only gone for lunch. The food is good, with a variety of offerings; I get the sandwiches/paninis. The best part is the sitting outside, where they offer umbrellas. The service is super friendly. There is a lot of parking too which is great!

“The food was incredible. Even for me, as a celiac. The bread they served my daughter made me miss bread and sadly there was no dessert for me. The bread pudding was designed to be shared. Huge portions. As for the noise, I loved the big family sitting across from us. But that's just me. I love big family birthday parties with kids. It still is a very open space with a sports bar area. In any case, the server was very sweet and took great care of us. They gave me the perfect Mojito, extra lime. My daughter had a beautiful love martini...with a rosebud, I think it was delicious, but was a limited time offer.“

“I discovered the place by accident. I was next door inside Michaels having some art pieces custom framed when I decided to look for a place to stop by to eat. I was starving. I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.“

I got a phone call asking if I wanted it now or later. Now! So it was delivered pretty quickly. The pizza was delicious, and I had pizza for breakfast all weekend 🍕“

Being from the bay, the pizza reminded me of Bronco Billy’s pizza in Union City. So fresh, not greasy and worth the money!

I was concerned reading about the pricing but I didn’t see this as an issue as the quality and number of people a pizza can feed matter! I’ve easily spent $50-60 on a round table pizza when you get an L specialty. Here a family size runs at a similar price and feeds more people (5-7). I think it’s a great option for parties and team events. I also went to breakfast at a local brunch spot and paid $50 for 2 people so I guess it’s all relative!

Definitely check it out! Everything inside is brand new, that’s a perk! Inviting interior and not cheesy looking

“My partner and I were out on a bicycle ride on the bay trail and in search of a good lunch spot where we could sit outside. We came across this place and decided to give it a go. We were very pleased all around! We chose the “Veggie Gourmet pizza” and it was just what we’d were looking for! It was made with tons of fresh cut veggies (saw them cut fresh for our pizza) and a delicious mix of cheeses cooked just right. The pizza was super delicious!! Best pizza I’ve had in a while. The 14” was more than enough for the two of us and it’s very affordable. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our pizza and a couple cold Modelos at a cute little table outside beneath the shade of a large umbrella. We loved this place!

Parking: We were on bicycles but there was a parking lot with plenty of spaces.“
