“This place lives up to the name. Double smash, fries, spicy pickles -- an absolute knockout. Crispy-edged patties, juicy center, fries that don't quit, and those spicy pickles are a genius touch. Simple menu, done exactly right. My new go-to smashburger spot in OC. Get the double.“

There were also some new items which was a nice surprise. The employees were very friendly and helpful. St the last minute, I added some additional items and the items came out quicker than expected.“

“I recently visited Mubong-ri Soondae-guk and decided to try their cheese tonkatsu instead of the usual soondae-guk, and I was pleasantly surprised by how satisfying the meal was. The breading on the pork cutlet was perfectly crispy, and once I cut into it, the generous amount of cheese inside melted out beautifully, adding a great visual appeal. The meat itself was tender and not chewy at all, making it a dish that anyone would enjoy, and the harmony with the provided sauce was excellent. Since it is a restaurant specializing in soondae-guk, I didn't have high expectations, but I was truly shocked by the high quality, which rivaled that of specialized tonkatsu restaurants. The savory flavor of the cheese filling the mouth was a real treat. If you are looking for a hearty and delicious meal, I highly recommend trying the cheese tonkatsu at Mubong-ri. “Nice and cozy place to grab a bite to eat. Service was easy and helpful, and I enjoyed my experience here. Even though their food is not necessarily something I would go out of my way to get, it tasted pretty good. The menu was a little vague, and some of the options seemed a little pricey, and perhaps we could've ended up getting better dishes. The restaurant itself smells pretty good once you walk in, and while the food tastes pretty good too, its taste doesn't seem to be on a par with its aroma. In other words, the smell is deceiving; make sure you know what you are ordering. The sides were pretty good and substantial. Beware: the Dawa Chicken tastes very sweet. Might recommend this place to another person, and might come back if I'm in the close area.

“We went here for dinner and this location doesn’t serve liquors..abit bumped since it goes so well with fried chicken. We ordered a combo of fried chicken, Tteokbokki, and spicy pork kimbap, plus mixed assorted Fried Basket (seafoods & veggies). The portion is quite big and we do have some left over for lunch. The foods are quite nice and well cooked & well seasoned. As for the prices, very reasonable. Service is nice and friendly. The place is right on the corner of the strip so it has all windows from all 3 sides. So it well lite and clean plus spacious. Parking is good with front and back. Overall, not bad for a good & big portion meal at reasonable price and with nice & friendly service.“

Real Thai and Korean Corn Dogs is hands down one of my favorite spots in Huntington Beach! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm, friendly service — and a special shoutout to Jaden, who made the entire experience even better. Super attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind — you can tell he really cares about the customers and takes pride in what he does.

Now, let’s talk food. The Pad Thai is absolutely perfect — packed with flavor, the noodles are cooked just right, and the balance of sweet, savory, and a little tang is exactly what you’d hope for. And the Panang Curry Chicken? Out of this world. Rich, creamy, perfectly spiced, and the chicken is always tender. It’s comfort food at its finest.

“Staying in a hotel nearby and wanted something tasty. This place was recommended, especially as in walking distance.
Fairly minimal selection of dishes, but what I selected sounded good. Was asked what options I wanted, and they didn't try to upsell either which was a nice change.

The food I got arrived quickly and it was really good. Their hot sauce was just about ok for me but they had hotter!
Good portion size and I was more than happy with the quality, taste and presentation.

The only reason for the atmosphere score is that it was pretty quiet when I went.

“Tried 무봉리&순대국 （Moobongri Soondae） at the H Mart food hall, a well-known Korean chain with 30+ years in Korea and many of U.S. locations (CA, Vegas, Texas, Denver, Chicago, Oakland… they’re everywhere).

Their specialty is soondae soup (Korean blood sausage stew). I’ve only tried soondae once in my life when I was living in Seoul and honestly was traumatized by the iron/bloody taste so I didn’t dare order it again.

I went for the spicy stir-fried squid instead. Flavor was good and pretty authentic, but definitely on the spicy side though - perfect with beer/drinks and rice.
Side dishes tasted good, too.
