“Went to this Korean joint for burgers. I had the Deluxe Oklahoma Burger and Fries. The beef patties were on point and the fries were also great. My new favorite burger joint for now. Seating is extremely limited so go before or after regular lunch hour or take it to go.“

“I recently visited Mubong-ri Soondae-guk and decided to try their cheese tonkatsu instead of the usual soondae-guk, and I was pleasantly surprised by how satisfying the meal was. The breading on the pork cutlet was perfectly crispy, and once I cut into it, the generous amount of cheese inside melted out beautifully, adding a great visual appeal. The meat itself was tender and not chewy at all, making it a dish that anyone would enjoy, and the harmony with the provided sauce was excellent. Since it is a restaurant specializing in soondae-guk, I didn't have high expectations, but I was truly shocked by the high quality, which rivaled that of specialized tonkatsu restaurants. The savory flavor of the cheese filling the mouth was a real treat. If you are looking for a hearty and delicious meal, I highly recommend trying the cheese tonkatsu at Mubong-ri. “All the banchan tasted fresh and tasted like it was made by a korean mom. The food was good, clean and simple. The seafood pancake was crispy and on point. The beef soup with the glass noodles was delicious 👌 pair with lemon Jinro sochu. You'll thank later. The portions of food they serve are out of control but the quality and taste is by far worth the price which is very reasonable. I would recommend of you are visiting from oit of town, must try. Service is above and beyond and the attention to detail is incredible as well.“

From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm, friendly service — and a special shoutout to Jaden, who made the entire experience even better. Super attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind — you can tell he really cares about the customers and takes pride in what he does.

“Staying in a hotel nearby and wanted something tasty. This place was recommended, especially as in walking distance.
Fairly minimal selection of dishes, but what I selected sounded good. Was asked what options I wanted, and they didn't try to upsell either which was a nice change.

The food I got arrived quickly and it was really good. Their hot sauce was just about ok for me but they had hotter!
Good portion size and I was more than happy with the quality, taste and presentation.

The only reason for the atmosphere score is that it was pretty quiet when I went.

“Food was pretty good and the service was great. We went around noon on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all. Our food came out quick and hot.
We got the tteokbokki with fried squid and another order with beef brisket. I ordered mine spicy and my wife wanted mild but we couldn't tell the difference between the two. The spice level wasn't too hot for me (I like it really spicy) but my wife thought hers was too hot.
I also had the soondae, which was pretty good. The skin around it was a bit crunchy for me but some may prefer it that way.“

I typically order online and pick-up in-store. Everytime I order, they make sure to wait until I arrive to pack up my udon to ensure that it stays hot. The dedication and care that goes into making the food and packaging everything is beyond incredible!

My go-to order is their Soy Marinated Salmon Yubu and Creamy Onion Salmon Yubu. I also always grab Udon with my order as well. It is perfectly sized so that you have enough room in your stomach to enjoy the udon and yubus!!

Everything on the menu sounded so enticing that we decided to order a variety of items to try—wings, pot stickers, udon noodles, bulgogi plate, and chicken katsu (don’t judge me ?). I'm not a meat lover because I've had problems with my bite but the rice is so on point with teriyaki sauce and green onion. “Tried 무봉리&순대국 （Moobongri Soondae） at the H Mart food hall, a well-known Korean chain with 30+ years in Korea and many of U.S. locations (CA, Vegas, Texas, Denver, Chicago, Oakland… they’re everywhere).

Their specialty is soondae soup (Korean blood sausage stew). I’ve only tried soondae once in my life when I was living in Seoul and honestly was traumatized by the iron/bloody taste so I didn’t dare order it again.

I went for the spicy stir-fried squid instead. Flavor was good and pretty authentic, but definitely on the spicy side though - perfect with beer/drinks and rice.
Side dishes tasted good, too.

The cashier was friendly!

Overall, the taste feels very Korean and true to the original chain. Worth trying if you’re exploring classic Korean comfort food!“
