“Anybody near hoag Newport needs to go here. We started with the combination plate and the samosas, marinated olives and baba ganoush were the standouts of the plate. The dolmas were served warm and were cooked very well. I really like my beef koobideh kebab as it was so juicy and tender it fell apart. The interesting one was the Iskender kebab. The sauce was very fresh. Excited to go back“

“We had high hopes coming to Olea, but alas we were disappointed. Location/Ambiance: Westcliff Plaza and small with a large bar at the front, the layout leaves little space for tables. We sat in a snug booth alongside the windows with a view of Susie Cakes next door. The decor is warm and modern. Food: Subpar! Burnt bread but delicious whipped butter. Butter lettuce and Goat cheese salad was bland with a basic dressing. Mac and cheese skillet was good but nothing amazing. Filet was dry with overdone gluey mashed potatoes, and underdone broccolini. Halibut was pan seared to a dry mess with an inedible coating, bland steamed seasonal vegetables of cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli as a side. Service: Friendly and Fake, if you enjoy watching servers walk away from your table talking about how "picky and difficult you are" this is a perfect spot. My Mother has dietary restrictions and we are specific to ensure a safe dining experience, it's sad when that's met with disdain. Overall: We won't be back!“

“Beautiful restaurant tucked at the top of Neman Marcus. The outdoor patio has a beautiful view of fashion island and the ocean. Staff are so friendly and professional. We had the most delicious meal. First we were served complementary Yorkshire pudding and a small helping of chicken broth soup to start our pallets. We had a delicious glass of Rose' that was perfectly paired with the strawberry salad. We added salon which made decadent. We finished with huge homemade cookies go to! These are incredible the size of a plate and so moist. Chocolate chip, oatmeal, and peanut butter yum this is a great local secret“

The grub: 🦀🐟 • Crab cakes: So good, it's mostly jumbo lump crab meat, no fillers • Mahi Mahi: Cooked to perfection, moist and flaky on the inside, crispy on the outside • Scallops: Melt-in-your-mouth delicious with a perfect sear Everything came out hot and tasting amazing. “Bayside Restaurant in Newport Beach is a gem, especially for its live music every night. The atmosphere is so captivating that I often find myself singing along or even getting up to dance. The food and service are just as exceptional: my go-to dishes are the scallops, the lamb, and all the steaks. The seafood is so fresh and the steaks are far superior in flavor to any high-end restaurant. For appetizers, the ahi tuna tartare is a must-try (THE BEST I’ve had anywhere), and the calamari with its Thai-style twist of chilies, green onion, and cilantro over an amazing salad is a standout. Desserts? Absolutely heavenly. The cheesecake and panna cotta are favorites, but the Grand Marnier souffle is simply to die for. The service is also impeccable…from the moment you arrive with the complimentary valet service, to the hostesses, the bartenders, servers, and bussers. Everyone is so friendly and attentive! “Coastal elegance with prime views. We sat at the bar for HH one evening and it was delightful. Bartender Tony is clearly part of a beloved and tight knit community of locals.
We visited for a celebratory dinner another evening and it was also lovely.

“I used to work at Nordstrom and back then it was “Blue Stove” and they only served little tapas. They have carried over some of the same recipes now that it’s Bazille. This place is always good and the food is consistent. They are know for their cilantro lime salad which my mom got. I got the mandarin chicken salad which was light and refreshing. I also highly recommend the tacos ! We will be back for sure! A nice place to stop for a drink when shopping too.“

“I'm not one to write reviews however our experience definitely warrants one. We were visiting Newport Beach for my son's 4th birthday and our first night we had dinner at Shor. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Rob was our server and he made all of us but especially my children feel so special. He went above and beyond. My kids were talking about how much fun dinner was throughout our entire weekend. I didn't catch the managers name but she was wonderful and kind as well. Truly a 12/10 experience and so much gratitude for Rob! Thank you for making my kids feel so special. We will never forget it!!!! Thank you!“
