“I ordered this place many many times. One time I also noticed the “suspicious” fried tofu with black dots on them. I was so angry so I called the owner, they explained to me the crispy tofu soaked with 卤汁 sauce will make the tofu looks like it’s not fresh… I didn’t believe him at first then I poked the black dots and they were really small pockets of sauce…. I don’t think they deserve a 3 star!!! It’s actually really yummy and taste fresh… I often crave this place. Also today when I ordered, I noticed they changed their tofu type and added more bok choy. Thanks for improving and maintaining a good quality!“

I forgot what my family ordered, but I think 1 of them ordered the Tonkotsu, though I still think spicy miso was the best option. The line and waiting are not that bad. The only problem is if you go as a group of 4+ people during busy hours like dinner time, it might be a bit difficult to find a parking and seating spot. The staff is really nice and friendly.

We tried the Crunchy Egg Rolls, which was made fresh, hot, and crispy!
The Nem Nuong Roll was delicious!
We were lucky to try a free sample of his Wonton as they sold out of it.
The Green Thai Tea was refreshing as well! My kids can't wait to come back to eat everything again!

Next time, I will try the Banh Canh Noodle Soup, I saw someone ordered it and the seafood were all individually packed for freshness!

I’ve just recently started eating at different hot pot places and they haven’t really hit the mark.

But what can I say about this place! The food, staff, entire vibe of this resto and area is amazing!

I got the bulgolgi broth and my wife got the spicy pork broth!
You can also mix, but the broths are tasty just as is too. They give you recommendations on what to try and mix together ie- cold soba noodles with broth and meat ??

Highly recommend the rib eye and top cut. There are a bunch of different sides and you can even get crab and shrimps too!
Wide variety of veggies and selection to make your dipping sauce.

All you can eat for 35$ each for great tasting food and ambiance- 100% worth it and definitely coming back“

“I’ve been coming to China King, do not remember that was the original name back in 1994 when I started going there. We would always get a chow mein fried rice, orange chicken, and the spicy chicken. I came yesterday with my nephew for my mother‘s birthday. We got three trays of the spicy chicken and three small containers of chow mein. Food is very delicious and fresh Mr. David, which is the cook is very kind, always happy, smiling always greeting everybody and is polite to his employees, he gave us some popsicles yesterday.
I told the lady at the register that we came from L.A. and she said do they not have Chinese food over there? And I told her yes but we just come here just for the spicy chicken. “I have been going to Thai Pepper for decades now. There food is always just spot on and the lunch special of $9.95 is a great deal. You get an entree in which I always get The Mint Leaves Chicken, fried rice, two fried wontons and a salad. My only suggestion would be to put the salad in a separate little box so it does not get hot next to the hot food. Other than that the food is excellent and great prices. You can get it mild to very hot on the spice! I stick with mild and my friend always gets the level 10 hot, hot, 🔥🥵 HOT. I would die, but different strokes for different folks.👍🤤🎉“

“I dinned with my family and friends at Phans55 today. The owners, Chris and his wife created a great dining experience. We tried the blue crab spring roll, calamari , grilled chicken banh mi and brisket pho. Every meal was delicious and plentiful. For dessert we had mango cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake.
We had made a 90 minutes drive to eat at Phans55 on a friend recommendation and were not disappointed. Gladly will make this trip again.
