“We had high hopes coming to Olea, but alas we were disappointed. Location/Ambiance: Westcliff Plaza and small with a large bar at the front, the layout leaves little space for tables. We sat in a snug booth alongside the windows with a view of Susie Cakes next door. The decor is warm and modern. Food: Subpar! Burnt bread but delicious whipped butter. Butter lettuce and Goat cheese salad was bland with a basic dressing. Mac and cheese skillet was good but nothing amazing. Filet was dry with overdone gluey mashed potatoes, and underdone broccolini. Halibut was pan seared to a dry mess with an inedible coating, bland steamed seasonal vegetables of cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli as a side. Service: Friendly and Fake, if you enjoy watching servers walk away from your table talking about how "picky and difficult you are" this is a perfect spot. My Mother has dietary restrictions and we are specific to ensure a safe dining experience, it's sad when that's met with disdain. Overall: We won't be back!“

We are beyond sad to hear that this location is closing over the lease renewal with The Irvine Co. We hope that both parties can work this out. “Wonderful family owned place! The most authentic Italian restaurant outside of Italy. At Il Farro food is prepared with attention and real LOVE. Everything from the appetizers to dessert were perfect. Every dish is made with true italian fresh and natural ingredients and is made by traditional recipes. The talented chef M. makes pastas and pizzas daily and they taste amazing. Also the house wine is a good selection. I suggest you to have their own valuable wine. Il Farro has a great management and staff too. We loved interacting with customers and guys who work in, they became like family for us. The qualified employees are friendly helpful and the restaurant is always clean. They do have enough seats and limited outdoor seating, but get a reservation in advance to make sure you have a place.Hands off, this is the best place to gather with friends or family! “This is just what we needed on our roadtrip. We were tired of fast food and wanted something fresh and a good price. Everything was tasty. Big salad with all the veggies; thoroughly enjoyed as well as sandwhiches. It's a small, quaint place with a nice outdoor courtyard for seating. Bathroom key and bathroom located to the left of the shop. Nothing fancy but the owners were friendly and I think they have a good thing going here. Thank you very much for a great lunch!“

We started with the blackened chicken nachos, which came in a good portion loaded with cheese and meat, though the meat was a bit on the lighter side. For our mains, we ordered a variety of dishes including the tacos carnitas and steak, Rosa burrito, Rosa bowl, and the Rosa combo. The meat in each dish was delicious, with the steak taco standing out in particular, and the Rosa combo was both plentiful and satisfying.

“This was my first Omakase experience and man, I picked a great one. I was quite surprised that I had to take a car ferry to get here, but that was a cool experience. There are no on-site parking but, parking was available nearby and it's free after 6 pm. The food was incredible. They were on point with presentation, delivery, and taste. I highly recommend it and it's pricey! But, worth the price.“

“We always cruise by this place but never tried it cuz of the parking. So last night around 10pm we gave it a whirl as parking wasn’t bad on the street. We are so glad that we tried it cuz this is probably the best pizza we’ve laid our taste buds on out here in the states. We got a large pepperoni pizza that was $26. The two guys at the window that helped us provided great customer service. Just a heads up that there is no tables to chill and grub down at. If you are in the area and are craving pizza, this place won’t disappoint. Cheers“
