“We had high hopes coming to Olea, but alas we were disappointed. Location/Ambiance: Westcliff Plaza and small with a large bar at the front, the layout leaves little space for tables. We sat in a snug booth alongside the windows with a view of Susie Cakes next door. The decor is warm and modern. Food: Subpar! Burnt bread but delicious whipped butter. Butter lettuce and Goat cheese salad was bland with a basic dressing. Mac and cheese skillet was good but nothing amazing. Filet was dry with overdone gluey mashed potatoes, and underdone broccolini. Halibut was pan seared to a dry mess with an inedible coating, bland steamed seasonal vegetables of cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli as a side. Service: Friendly and Fake, if you enjoy watching servers walk away from your table talking about how "picky and difficult you are" this is a perfect spot. My Mother has dietary restrictions and we are specific to ensure a safe dining experience, it's sad when that's met with disdain. Overall: We won't be back!“

“Went here for Happy hours and the menus are pretty good. I ate at Eddie V's Manhattan Beach before and loved it. First time trying it near home. The HH items are good, but some aren't as good as others. The calamari is large and delicious. Lobster bisque is OK. Grilled oysters and the lobster tempura in a stick thing are awesome. Their ribeye steak should be great bc I love it at the Manhattan Beach location.“

“Wonderful family owned place! The most authentic Italian restaurant outside of Italy. At Il Farro food is prepared with attention and real LOVE. Everything from the appetizers to dessert were perfect. Every dish is made with true italian fresh and natural ingredients and is made by traditional recipes. The talented chef M. makes pastas and pizzas daily and they taste amazing. Also the house wine is a good selection. I suggest you to have their own valuable wine. Il Farro has a great management and staff too. We loved interacting with customers and guys who work in, they became like family for us. The qualified employees are friendly helpful and the restaurant is always clean. They do have enough seats and limited outdoor seating, but get a reservation in advance to make sure you have a place.Hands off, this is the best place to gather with friends or family! It has our ❤️s. We loved it.“

When it comes to pizza in Orange County, Round Table is unmatched in quality. Don’t miss out on their buffalo chicken wings either—the buffalo sauce is exceptional and far surpasses what you'll find at any other pizza place in OC and LA County. “Been here about 10 times now, discovered it one day in Newport for my first Mother’s Day, they were giving moms free churros and it was such a pleasant experience we’ve been making the 30 min drive to come back ever since. Always a pleasant experience, service is always friendly and quick, the atmosphere is fun with an 2 inside areas and 2 outside areas andthe food is great (we mostly always get steak Chilaquiles and their steak breakfast burrito). This is a great place for toddlers/kids we love sitting on the patio area with grass and tv, we’re happy and our kiddos are happy. The food is always reliably tasty well cooked meat and free chips and salsa (lots of salsa choices and all good). I’ve even come here with my girlfriend for a mom’s day out. Highly recommend such a pleasant experience and ideal spot for watching sporting events or just to feel comfortable eating out with kiddos!

“I’ve tried out a lot of Omakase in LA and San Shi Go is def my favorite! The food quality is top-notch; you can never go wrong with whatever sake on the menu. Besides the most common Omakase pieces including Otoro, Uni, etc., I especially love love love the deep-dried shrimp head, Nodoguro, Shimaaji, Managtatsuo, Isaki, Kinmedai, Amadai, and Wagyu sushi. I can’t have enough of it and ended up with 26 pieces sushi (I would’ve had more if it was not already past the store hour?) The staff here is all welcoming. And lastly big shoutout to Yoshisan! He is the BEST!!!!!!“

“Exquisite food. Excellent service. This is a walk-up pizzeria so the atmosphere is sidewalk friendly lol. Pizza was a good price Plus they put extra cheese. Definitely going to go back to this establishment. If I had to do it over again I would have called ahead or made an online order. Parking is a pain between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Parking: There's only a handful of spots for you to park. I would definitely order prior to coming to this establishment so that you can pull up, pop out of your car, get your pizza order, and slip on out of there like restock better“

The food and service are just as exceptional: my go-to dishes are the scallops, the lamb, and all the steaks. The seafood is so fresh and the steaks are far superior in flavor to any high-end restaurant. For appetizers, the ahi tuna tartare is a must-try (THE BEST I’ve had anywhere), and the calamari with its Thai-style twist of chilies, green onion, and cilantro over an amazing salad is a standout. Desserts? Absolutely heavenly. The cheesecake and panna cotta are favorites, but the Grand Marnier souffle is simply to die for. The service is also impeccable…from the moment you arrive with the complimentary valet service, to the hostesses, the bartenders, servers, and bussers. Everyone is so friendly and attentive!
