“I'm still thinking about the food we had here. And that was over a week ago! My son is five and he dove into everything, I was surprised. He kept askig for more. Every aspect of our meal was perfect. The mint tea. The meat and hummus. I wish I lived closer, I'd be there at least once a week if I did.“
“Order the beef flap and chicken thigh. This place knows how to cook it to perfection. Also thier rice is absolutely delicious. Imean, you might say it's just rice, but this place elevates it to superstar status. It's so buttery and fluffy. Perfection! Served with a simple grilled tomato and peppers and a slice of lavash bread to round it all off. The staff is friendly and the food is hot and ready pretty quickly. Plenty of easy parking in thier lot. Easy in and out.“
“THE BEST PERSIAN FOOD in the convenience of Koreatown. I grew up having so much Persian food around me, especially in Westwood and Glendale, but so happy to have found this right in this neighborhood and its even better than what Ive had in those areas! The Koobideh was beyond juicy, tender and flavorful. The Kashk bademjan (eggplant dip), to die for. Plus the service was impeccable. Thank you!!“
“Had the pleasure of ordering at this restaurant for a work lunch, and the customer service was just remarkable. The food was lovely as well, and during the brief time I was in the restaurant waiting on my order, I was very impressed with what I saw. Highly recommend.“
“Food this good could only be made with a mother's love! Sogol's plate is a great business run by great women and I would definitely recommend their to-go orders for busy students as the ordering and pick-up process were super easy. I ordered the Kotlet sandwich and it was super flavorful. You will not be disappointed and the portions were quite filling. Can't wait to order more amazing meals in the future!“
“It was my first time at Raffi’s and I had heard a lot about it before. We tried the Soltani mix (barg and koobideh kabobs), food was ok, but it wasn’t “such a wow” food. I’ve had kabob at different places before which were much more delicious and better quality than Raffi’s. I can mention for example, Negeen in San Jose, Lavaash in San Francisco, and Sorena in Denver, have made me much much happier and more satisfied with their food than Raffi’s.Yet I’m saying food was ok there.“
“I LEFT IRAN WHEN I WAS 12 YEARS OLD IN 1978. UNFORTUNITLY 1978 WAS THE LAST TIME I EAT MY GRANDMOTHERS COOKINGSHE MADE MY FAVORIT STEW, OVER THE YEARS MY MOTHER MY SISTER AND FINALLY MY WIFE MADE MY FAVORIT STEW BUT NONE OF THEM TASTED LIKE MY GRANDMOTHERS STEW. UNTILL FOURTY SOME YEARS LATER, FIRST TIME TRIED SAME STEW AT LAZIZ GRILL, FIRST SPOON FIRST TASTE OF THE SAME STEW TOOK ME BACK TO ME BACK TO MY GRANDMOTHERS KITCHEN. I REALIZED THAT LADIES AT LAZIZ GRILL ARE FROM SAME AREA OF NORTHERN REGION AS MY GRANDMOTHER.I CONSIDER MYSELF A VERY LUCKY PERSON TO KNOW TWO BEAUTIFUL GIFTED LADIES ARE WITH IN MINUTES AWAY FROM ME AND I CAN GET MY FAVORIT STEW. A GIFT FROM HAVEN TO US ATLEAST THEY ARE GIFT TO ME. I AM GREATFUL AND THANK YOU LADIES.“
“Good food, they charge for every little thing like if you want a little hummus in your wrap. But otherwise is seems reasonably priced. The place next door was having an event and people were smoking outside. Was annoying because we were sitting outside, but that is not the fault of the owners of this place.Vegetarian options: They have falafel and grilled veggies. Falafel were ok, chicken is much better. But obviously chicken is not veggie.Parking: Glendale can suck for parking. There’s a city lot nearby. Will cast you $1.50/hour.“
“So, they forgot the hummus in my to-go order, but they still get 5 stars because everything was still delicious. I got the #3, chicken and steak combo. I'm use to steak kabobs being really tough to chew, but this meat was tender, juicy, and had great flavor. Salad and rice tasted fresh. There was a small complimentary container of lentil soup that was so good I may need to return and get a large bowl. Lastly, as a proud lemonade fan and addict, the cucumber lemonade was very good.“
“Food here was excellent! This was my first time trying Armenian food and gosh it was super good ! Service was good and the time to wait for food was pretty quick as well! The food itself is absolutely delicious. The place itself is a little small but regardless very clean and subtle. Highly recommend this place !“
“I, really, really like this place. But it's kinda pricey. That being said, the food is really-really good. Pardis, a Persian restaurant, feels more like "higher class" dining, so to speak, than say, Raffis Place (the best Middle Eastern food in town). Pardis' Salmon is delish, the hummus is yum, and the portions are pretty large. The menu isn't that big, which is fine, and I hope this restaurant succeeds as the restaurant that was at this location (which was yum) didn't succeed (probably due to bad customer service). So, hopefully, Pardis focuses on service too because the food is awesome!“
“I love this place. I've been coming here for years and the food is so delicious. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner on my last visit and when I tell you he's a gem of a human being.... super kind and generous. It was a quiet evening and I was visiting with a friend from back east and he was so incredibly kind to us. Full of wisdom and a deep passion for people. The food is authentically prepared with so much TLC. Can't wait to go back! It's also BYOB.The terrace is warm and cozy. The traditional Persian music is wonderful as well.“
“Hands down the best hookah spot in LA. Their food is phenomenal, and their hookah lasts forever. Great place to come by yourself or with a group. I love this place because the music is not loud at all and it's very relaxing, even on the weekends when it's packed. You can actually have a conversation with the person next to you, unlike other hookah spots. Sina and his staff are amazing and attentive, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. If you are coming with a larger group, I recommend you make a reservation.“
“My go-to for takeout, but there is an inviting dine-in area with enough space for a few tables. The customer service is consistently swift; my phone orders are ready upon my arrival. The pricing is appropriate, offering generous portions. My usual half-and-half combo (chicken and beef) includes rice, hummus, pita bread, and a refreshing salad. Although I tend to forget to swap the salad for fries, another diner had them on their plate and they looked so yummy. Every element is expertly seasoned, resulting in consistency.“
“We are visiting from Montreal where we are used to good food and fine cuisine. I did some research and wanted to try an authentic Persian restaurant with my family. My daughters and I were greeted warmly by the lovely hostess and within minutes the owner, Ali came to welcome us! He is a warm charming man and treated us to the most amazing Gheimeh Bademjoon with Tadig on the house. We had the Kabeb Kobideh and the boneless chicken and Ghormeh Sabzi. They were all exceptionally good and the service was top notch. It was lovely to be in a Persian restaurant with the warmth that is typical of the culture! We now have a favorite place in LA!! Thank you Ali!!!Parking: Easy Parking in surrounding paid lots“
“This review is definitely way over due!!!The consistency in the food is just stellar!Every time I come (4th time ) The food is fresh and super tasty .The boneless chicken is so fresh and cooked to perfectionNot overly dry but just the perfect juicy tenderness!!The rice is so yummy too.. But my fav is the hummus by far!!Also the staff is always super friendly and nice!!“
“I took my friend here for lunch and she has never had Persian food before. The staff went above and beyond with us and made tons of great recommendations. They showed us what to pair the food with and even let us try some yogurt dip with our kabobs. It was an amazing experience and it was so cool that someone would take the time to show us all that. Will definitely be back!“
“Came here after a friend posted on her story! Had to try it. The restaurant was coz, ideal for hookah night, special occasions, or simple lunch-dinner with friends is exceptional, very friendly service especially owner Arin makes sure everything is perfect on both ends. I highly recommended!“
“This is a delicious option, in a cozy place, no crowd and great service by the owner.Food is so tasty, beef is really good (both: ground and tender beef), you have to try the cucumber yogurt and hummus. This place is an amazing choice in a town full of traditional restaurants with this type of food.Highly recommended!“
“ust dined at Shekarchi in downtown LA, and it’s safe to say it’s the best Persian restaurant in Southern California. The cuisine is of unmatched quality and deliciousness, blending authentic Persian flavors seamlessly. The Koobideh and Shishlik come highly recommended for those looking to indulge in the true essence of Persian culinary excellence. The atmosphere of Shekarchi sets it apart, offering a romantic vibe with an American twist, making it the perfect introduction for non-Persians keen on experiencing Middle Eastern food for the first time in an inviting, familiar environment. Shekarchi is undeniably a must-visit for a memorable culinary journey.“
“The food is very delicious- we order from here on UberEats quite often! Their portions are generous too. My only suggestion, I wish the stews were less greasy. We could order more often then ;) I see my cholesterol levels raise if I were to eat such level of grease and oil more often.“
“Overall food was delicious. But asian server I got probably was kinda inexperienced, she just hung a plate for me to self-serve whilst my hands were busy and she was standing and waiting for me to grab it. I literally needed to say “Can you put it for me?” Also a lot of men talking loudly and always strolling around is not creating the best atmosphere to stay…“
“Ordered family style kabobs and rice with various side dishes, and everything was great! Tender and juicy meats! Plenty of rice to share! Yogurt with cucumber, yogurt with shallot and shirazi salad are terrific, plus Persian flat bread for dipping. I would definitely go back.Parking: Giant shopping center parkingKid-friendliness: Food for all agesWheelchair accessibility: Easy access“
“Great Iranian eatery. Very cozy, cute, and comfortable space. Booths have the name of the islands in the Persian gulf, in keeping with the restaurant theme! My girlfriend is vegan so when we asked for the options the chef herself came to our table to go over the options. We really appreciated that. The food itself was fantastic. We had kubideh and aash. I wish they also had impossible meat kubideh. We will definitely go back for more!“
“A very entertaining Persian restaurant. I've been here a few times and my experience was great. They have a decent verity of delicious appetizers and entrees. Every time I tried their beef kabob and I liked it, but I've heard a lot about their sea bass, so definitely next time I'll try the sea bass. My favorite appetizer is kask-bademjoon which is an eggplant dish, it tastes so good. The service is fast and on time. The live music and old songs take me back to the old days.“
“A kind gentleman waiting for his order to be filled gave us, party of 4, heaps of the bread that was in his togo order. He had spread his heaps of flat breads on the dining tables to air out and " stay crispy " as he explained it. Further, same gentleman got us a menu and kept encouraging us to break bread with him. Eventually our party did munch on his offerings and sat down inside... same gentleman told us service is not the priority of this particular establishment but that the food was good. Turned out to be mostly true. Lol. What lacked in service offerings was made up for in tasty dishes. Plentiful amounts of flavorful morsels in my chicken kabob wrap, and the 3 other dishes ordered. Got yogurt drinks, which I guess are very similar to Kefir. Funny story, I mistakenly thought Naan Hut served Indian food. Only to find out that the 3 other people in our party were familiar with Naan as bread in middle eastern language... so they were impressed that I had suggested a Halal restaurant to suit their tastes, whereas in truth I thought Naan bread like tandoori chicken sounded good.Dietary restrictions: HalalParking: It's LA“

“Slash Pizza is my new go to. Just discovered this place and I absolutely love it! I get pizza here every Sunday night. My favorite is classic cheese or Italian sausage. The XL pizza is a great value for the price! The staff is always friendly with great service. If you're looking for a new pizza place like I was check out Slash Pizza.“
“We have been ordering food from Kabab and More for over 27 years. Not only personal dishes, but we order her catering services too. The owner, Rubina, is the absolute sweetest person we've ever dealt with in the food industry. Her food is always absolutely delicious, so fresh, spiced very well, not salty and always served with a friendly face and big smile. We have tried every dish and they're just all equal in the best Mediterranean cuisine flavor and the prices are very comparable to other Mediterranean restaurants. This restaurant is an absolute MUST-TRY!!!“
“Persian new year is on the 20th but everybody celebrates it at 8 o'clock tonight. So the Persian flag was out all over Westwood. So I decided to go with my best friend Reza to have Persian breakfast. Food was delicious. I really liked the vegetarian Samosas I had this drink, called rosewater, Chia I'm obsessed! I like using rosewater in the morning to wash my face. The first drink did feel a little soapy, but after a minute it was delicious. I love this spot very clean and beautiful . The back patio, Super enchanting. My new favorite spot five stars #HappyPersianNewYear“
“Their chicken and rice was “Delicious!” Walking distance from the DTLA jewelry district and overall a little slice of heaven to take a break from shopping! I ate it so fast that I didn’t take photos of the food! Best PERSIAN FOOD I’ve had in 10+ years!“
“Randomly tried this place when I was in the area and it was just what I needed. I had the lunch special and the portion was HUGE. The bread tasted amazing and the chicken was not overcooked which tends to happen at so many other places. The service was friendly. Thank you.“
“I live right around the corner and I crave this place everytime I pass by. The kabobs are fabulous. Perfectly cooked. The rice is perfect. Huge portions. Very recommend. I see a few bad reviews here and I feel like we ate at very different restaurants.“
“3/17/2024 This Persian restaurant has been in business for 17 years.1) The appetizer HUMMUS is so fresh, a 5 star dish; 2) FESENJAN STEW is 5 star, before taking my first bite of FESENJAN STEW (Sauteed ground walnut, cooked in pomegranate sauce and served with steamed basmati rice), I am not sure it will fit my taste. Right after my tasting, a nonstop eating with steamed basmati rice took place.; 3) BAKLAVA (Pastry made with layers of phyllo dough filled with chopped walnut and pistachio and cream) and tea are 5 star; 4) A signature dish, GHORMEH SABZI STEW, is okay. The restaurant is also specializing for catering. I really like a fragrant smell in its clean bathroom.“
“Have to say this easily was one of the best Persian restaurants I've dined at. Nothing fancy, but the food speaks volumes to its quality! The Beef barg was butter soft and tasty. Their fresh baked bread is to die for. The staff were all smiles and very kind & and accommodating.“
“Wow! Super impressed! The food was made fresh to order and took about 10 mins. It was definitively worth the wait! I ordered the Chicken kabob lunch plate. Juicy moist pieces of chicken, rice, fresh salad with cucumbers and tomatoes, grilled onion, pepper and tomato also was included... pita bread hummus and taziki sauce .. dined in.. the space is clean and organized .. service was good!“
“This is not one of my favorite places to eat I just wish it was closer so I could eat there more often. I kind of hate it haven't paid $7 to park in the back it was better than trying to find parking on the street. The hostess was welcoming, the service was outstanding, and I really loved the food. I have the Persian princess drink it was very good and then I tried their sampler which had three different types of stew. That was a great way to get a taste of what they have to offer. Shrimp and mushroom appetizer what's fantastic. With drinks and tips for two people it was almost $150 so it's not cheap but it is worth it.“
“Stopped by for a quick lunch bite.Great customer service and also such a tasty meal ordered a lamb chops plate and a side of hummus. There was only 3 lamb chops, :( wished there was more since they were delicious however we'll come back for more lol We recommend this one ? the dish came with all the condiments“
“My husband and love this spot food taste delicious service is great we live in Palmdale but drive to this spot no question ask? we known owner for years he’s really nice guy.Vegetarian options: You can eat vegetables hereParking: Good parkingKid-friendliness: Kids can be welcomeWheelchair accessibility: Enough parking“
“Good food, is ready quickly, got felafel plate and baklava, plates are big. Baklava was super delicious! Cute seating inside, even has outdoor space - too bad facing the street with traffic.Dietary restrictions: Great options for Gluten free allergies, also has a couple vegan and vegetarian options“
“I had a fantastic experience at Toranj! The ambiance was lovely, the service was excellent, and the majority of the dishes were delicious. However, Ghorme Sabzi was a bit too sour for my taste, and the packed butter didn't quite meet expectations. Despite these minor hiccups, I'd still recommend this place for its overall great food and wonderful service. The atmosphere is similar to a traditional Persian restaurant in Iran!!“
“I came here to celebrate with my friend what is the Persian New Year or Nowruz as it's called. It falls on the Spring Equinox and it's customary to eat fish and green rice called Sabzi polo. We ordered the fried white fish which is the most tasty and popular! Great service and friendly staff. The food is fresh and incredible! Ambiance is casual and I love the tanoor they have to bake the bread with, the freshly baked bread they give you with butter is so special and delicious.“
“I own a Pilates studio down the street on Robertson (Pilates Body Beverly Hills) and I have been here with my friends and clients for lunch and dinner. The owner is very sweet and basically prepares the most delicious home made Persian food for you in the kitchen as you order it. I love the tadig and the kebabs are great too. She is also a pastry chef, so the desserts are really, really good there too.“
“Absolutely the best takeout Vietnamese food around. It's a market but the ready to eat food is amazing. They have dishes that only the Vietnamese household would make, so it's like going to a Vietnamese friend's house that you would find this. Very rare. The combination lunchbox where you get lock and cost your plate is excellent. They really top up that they can barely close.Authentic and excellent.Protip. Try the fresh sugarcane juice. You can't get this anywhere else. The Vietnamese coffee is strong but perfect!“
“Kurosh was a great find, a small place but very good food and friendly service. We had the chicken breast grilled wrap and the ground beef wrap. Both items were served right from the grill , vegetables were fresh and the sauces they mix with the wrap were super good! Prices were reasonable. The flavor of the meats was really good. I highly recommend this place for a great, fresh, and healthy meal!“
“Arrived in Tehrangeles.. ✨As a lover of Persian cuisine, I recently had dining at Taste of Tehran, a Persian community located in Westwood, Los Angeles. The cozy atmosphere at Taste of Tehran instantly transports you to the heart of Iran. The friendly staff welcomed us with warm smiles, and their attentive service made our meal even more enjoyable.Koobideh kabob! ?Marinated to perfection, these juicy and tender skewers had just the right amount of crunch.Mast-o-Mousir is a must-try! Tangy, sour, and thick, mixed with chopped shallots. We ordered one for the meal and another to savor throughout the week.“
“Wow, so that's how good Persian food can be. Met my dad and girlfriend here for dinner and their food was amazing. Service is great, super friendly. The place is chic and modern but not stuffy. They brought me a great veggie dish with rice and tahdig with keshkeh bademjoon. Highly recommend their appetizers. Plenty of street parking and parking uot back as well clean bathrooms.“
“Came here with a friend for my birthday and we got two of the plates which was absolutely plenty of food and everything was delicious! There are seats inside and outside and the service is quick and easy. A great fast casual option, I love how much middle eastern food is in this area! Even amongst other options, Attari sandwich shop seems like a place that folks come back to as regulars.“
“I've driven past this cafe so many times and didn't even realize that there was a hidden gem there! Came in for lunch and was greeted by a sweet woman who took my order. It's definitely a mom and pops joint so you'll feel right at home immediately. I ordered the chicken shawarma with salad and the chicken didn't disappoint! It was tender and flavorful, just what I needed to satisfy my appetite. I do have to say that it's a small spot so there is no restrooms available for customers but if you're getting your car washed, you can use the one there and walk over.“
