“Absolute hidden gem in Palm Springs. Almost don’t want to let anyone know about it but it’s just too good not to share.
The outside seating is simply beautiful, you are surrounded by beautiful citrus trees, we really felt like we were transported into a European village, maybe Greece (and I’m European so that’s saying something) as for the food….my god!!! The menu is so imaginative, delicate, fresh and just delicious. I tried things I had never tasted before and I LOVE that about a menu. We all ate something different (Fuyu Persimons, Market Greens, Spiced Cauliflower pita and The Barn Burger) and all four of us were blown away.
The service…darn I didn’t catch her name, well she was fantastic, she even brought us fresh baked cookies as a treat, which were absolutely melt in your mouth! I can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu. My new favorite restaurant in Palm Springs maybe even the whole valley!!!“

“Absolutely delicious! We went to Bongo Johnny’s for the first time, and we will definitely be going back! The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was so tasty! It is funny but the atmosphere seems very casual, but the food is something you would expect from a fine dining experience. Thankfully the prices were pretty reasonable! And to top it all off, the music was the best! When we were there they were playing 80s music and we just loved it! Bongo Johnny’s is a must if you haven’t been there yet. “If you’re 6ft and taller and rich, these are your people. It’s expensive and that keeps the riff raff out. A bunch of tech execs and a staff that’s trying to be a class above. When will they learn you don’t teach in front of the guest to place silverware down. You started reaching behind me then switched and almost wiped my nose placing my new fork down. But the best was Kelly explaining that Ruinart is famous for its Chardonnay grapes and that’s what drives this rose wine. And then states it’s 55% Pinot Noir. Table settings were nice, but please clean the tree dandruff. And no there’s no misters, so summer early evenings will be warm.“

“We drove out to Palm Springs to look for a retirement home this week. A dinner was planned for our daughter's birthday. The 6 of us were immediately seated and welcomed by the very gracious staff. I had a mocktail mojito because I am driving back to Las Vegas today. There was an amazing pupu platter with tempura beans, satay chicken, seasoned ribs, a vegan version of the miso steelhead salmon substituted with a perfectly fried tofu over succulent black forbidden rice and covered in mushrooms, cauliflower, snow peas, fresh tomatoes, broccoli, and one of our party had the juicy burger with brie and fat scrumptious onion rings. Drinks were great, handed over by our very charming server. It could not have been ten minutes before we were served our food even though the place was hopping! I really love the look of the outdoor patio and hope to return in cooler weather. Parking at the back next to the accessible back patio gate made it very easy for my husband's wheelchair, whereas there are a couple of steps at the front. Once inside navigation was easy as pie. I can see how The Tropicale is so popular. The staff bring out a happy vibe and the food is a magical pairing. Well done!!“

“If you are staying at the Renaissance and don't want to walk to breakfast, this is the spot. They have a buffet which includes a made-yp-order omelette bar. They also have a menu to order off if you want pancakes or something else for breakfast. Located in the direction of the meeting rooms.“

Watching the process of how W&F makes their housemade short ribs made my mouth water, and me want to take the 2 hour drive from San Diego...\n\n$21 Short Rib Melt Sandwich...Here it was! The short rib sandwich I saw on TV was now in my hands...and it was good. Just good. Not great. The flavors were good, the short rib was flavorful and tasty, but I wish there was more of it. Came with some nice crispy tots.\n\n$7 Blueberry Breakfast Tart...W&F's housemade "Pop Tart" pastry was a cute, whimsical, sweet, and lovely dessert pastry.\n\nGood food, not great, and bit pricy for the portion and quality. Maybe it was overhyped in my brain from the TV show...never meet your heroes?“

“Sad I figured out this place had great breakfast so late in my trip. They had me at Waffle Benedict ? The inside dining atmosphere is what you would expect for a hotel restaurant, but outside is way better. The staff is friendly and many of them have been working there for years!“

“Great lil cafe in front of Farm that served a limited menu of the brunch hits indoors and outdoors. Service was lovely! Everything came out quick and we were checked on regularly. “Was unsure about the dining experience at first as it was a busy pride weekend and all the restaurants downtown were overwhelmed. Once we were finally seated after waiting in the line, Amy our server was absolutely amazing. She made us feel like a priority despite how busy they were and we were attended to frequently with all of the items we ordered coming quite quickly. Props to the cooking staff as well for making our ordered accuratly and deliciously even with an onslaught of people. They have a very good selection to choose from , ranging from breakfast, lunch & dinner as well as Mexican & American dishes. “Dear Escena Management I am writing to formally request a refund for the golfing fees paid for my recent visit to Escena golf course on May 4th 2024. Upon booking, I was led to believe, based on the descriptions and images presented on your website, that your course offered premium facilities and conditions. Regrettably, my experience did not meet these expectations. The condition of both the fairways and greens was notably poor and not reflective of the high standard promoted online. Additionally, the level of noise from constant overhead airplane traffic significantly detracted from the experience, further compounded by an exceedingly slow pace of play throughout the day. I have also noticed a number of overly positive reviews on your website and various social media platforms, which seem inconsistent with my experience and potentially misleading to other customers. This disparity raises concerns regarding the authenticity of those reviews and suggests a possible deceptive practice that I believe warrants further investigation. Given these issues, I feel that the quality of the course and the overall experience did not justify the prepayment of $166 per person. Therefore, I kindly request a full refund of the fees paid. I believe this request is reasonable under the circumstances and aligns with fair trading practices. Please let me know how we can facilitate this refund.
