“First time in many years I went to Elmer's for breakfast. I have missed this gem of Palm Springs. Tried the German Pancakes today. Utterly delicious. Our server recommended the lemon flavor and included her tip on how to enjoy them. Spot on recommendation. I, then, noticed through observation that many of the diners were enjoying the same breakfast, some lemon, some strawberry, some lingenberry, and some the combo. I suggest a pairing with the combo of eggs and sausage (can't forget the protein). Oh, and don't forget your coffee. Thank You to the staff, it was a very enjoyable visit.“

“I enjoyed a wonderful experience at Farm in Palm Springs for an early Mother's Day dinner. We had delightful three hour six course dinner in a magical setting with live music and delicious fare. PROS: The hostesses graciously greeted us and sat us a bit earlier than our reservation time. Had a nice table in one of the rooms with a fireplace and a large mirror. The saxophonist played and the sound poured in with great acoustics from the speakers. The amuse bouch had avocado, so I could not eat it, so my mom enjoyed all two. My dad could not eat solid foods due to mouth surgery. The bread course had warm fresh items and silky salty butter. The beet salad, melon salad, and corn soup provided earthy, tart, sweet, and creamy bites and tastes. The varied textures provided a kaleidescope of fresh tastes. The baked brie offered sweet and savory mixes of grilled bread, pear, and date spread! The lemon sorbet palate cleanser provided a balanced experience that did its job. The salmon entree provided an exquisitely pan fried crispy and juicy flaky fillet. The creamy dijon mustard sauce complimented the protein perfectly. The sweet peppers offered a wonderful crunch. The swiss chard added some bitter contrast to the garlic potatoes. The wonderfully bitter Citron crepe provided a nice end to a culinary cruise. Crystal took great photos in the garden. Gilbert was professional and affable. CONS: They asked me so many times for extra drinks. I had to prompt them multiple times to fill the water glasses and refills on tea and diet coke. They charged me full price for mashed potatoes, soup, and sorbet for my dad's meal. I get it. OVERALL: I highly recommend this restaurant for a magical evening meal inspired by Provence, France.“

“Food is great as well as the prices. Margarita are good as well. I will definitely be coming back. I’ve been here four or five times now. The waiter didn’t once ask me once how my meal was. Nor did he offer dessert. The gentleman refilling my water, salsa, and chips was awesome though. Maybe I happen to miss it each time I’m but I really would like to hear some mariachi or other types of traditional Mexican music whether live or recorded. This is a Mexican restaurant after all. “There are two meals in my (now 27) years of life that have made me feel this way. I came in on a whim with my boyfriend after finding this place on google maps. We were staying in a nearby town for a few days, searching for a last minute birthday dinner spot that seemed like a serious restaurant and not just pricey for the sake of being pricey. Decor and vibe seemed promising from the pictures and I’m a sucker for tapas, but our expectations were tempered going in. The ambience, cuisine, and service that greeted us at Del Rey blew my expectations out of the water completely. Tucked away inside a beautiful and very quintessentially palm springs hotel, Del Rey’s dining room provides stunning decor and vibes galore. However, I found the dim lit patio was too cozy to resist on a nice warm desert evening). Kai (hope i’m spelling it correctly) was our server, and despite our short-notice arrival well after the peak of dinner service, his hospitality was superb. We never felt rushed, and our many questions were answered thoroughly and patiently. We rushed out of the gate with a massive order of different tapas, and he was considerate enough to help us dial it back to a more appropriate amount of food given the portions. If i had one note at all, it was that the mushroom dish is missing something texturally, but it was nevertheless delicious and had we not had so many other dishes on our table i’m certain we would have finished it quickly. Besides that, everything that touched our table was utterly spectacular. The house gin martini was perhaps the best martini i have ever had (as a gin martini drinker), and my boyfriend who hates gin AND martinis was shocked at how much he enjoyed it. The sangria was another standout drink. I could go on and on, but in short: if you find yourself in this corner of the desert you would be a fool to not pay Del Rey a visit.

p.s. the cheesecake desert makes for a perfect nightcap, and i’ve never cared much for cheesecake“

“Been here couple times & they have good burgers & potato salad - it says it’s a former Grayhound Bus station so it’s a bit quirky but worth a visit. I don’t know why they insist on posting more than 40 menus on the website from the last 17 years (other than comparison to see inflation lol) wish they highlighted the CURRENT menu a bit more prominently instead of searching thru page after page of history“
