“We wanted to try a new place and this was a great choice. Had the fish tacos, AMAZING!! Had the pulled pork nachos, also AMAZING!!! Of course we had drinks. Wine isn't the right choice, but they have a variety of beers. Had the michelada and my lips are still a bit spicy. Super yummy. I would recommend this place to friends and we will be back.“

There's ample parking and the plus is there is also Yard house around the corner. I usually order the Dos Sauz margarita. The truffle fries are delicious as well. It's a good place to get the night started.“

“This place is a hidden gem in the valley and even the lot it's in you wouldn't assume it's good. This is located in the same lot as the Food 4 Less and Baskin Robbins. And I am so mad I didn't get this place sooner, the savory empanadas I had were DELICIOUS. I had the corn, pork kahula and a chicken one that I forgot that all came with their individual sauces and I WILL be going back for more. I was however so disappointed in the banana Nutella empanada- it was very mushy and the Nutella taste was nonexistent. Either than that the actual place is super clean and a cool ambiance to it!“

“A great atmosphere, I enjoyed the games on TV, it was Tequila Tuesday which was just fine by me, and the food was delicious! Absolutely a great time, I'm really glad that I went there for dinner. The server was fast, kind, and explained the menu to me. They only have Teramasu and 2 scoops of ice cream with liquor, not much of a desert place, but there was a lot around for sweets. Overall, I will definitely be coming back here with more people. On the left was the Blue Cheese Burger, and on the right was the Pastrami Jalapeño Burger. Their Chipotle Mayo was smokey to the taste, which was excellent.“

“MY FAVORITE LA BAR!!! My review is loooong overdue as I've been coming here for years. I've moved further South on Ventura but I still manage to come to what I feel is my home in bar form. I'm a woman who loves mixology and good bartending and most bars are extremely male centric. TLP is great for women and men. It wouldn't surprise me that many women love this bar. You will hear everyone mention "the feel" of the bar and it's because they seem to consistently hire AMAZING BAR AND WAIT STAFF. Kudos to management for keeping such excellent consistency. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME..I come to the bar I sit at the bar and get an INCREDIBLE convo from the bartenders. They always serve me the most fantastic drinks and make me feel like a FUGGIN QUEEN. I love them so much for this. They manage people well and that's hard to come by. Even if I've had a bad day they seem to always say the thing that lifts my spirits -- it's wild. Therapy in a bar almost. lol Keep up the good work guys! See you again soon.“

The staff was very professional and no pressure.Parking: Valet fills up quickly at busy times. I was so full they had to close it before I arrived. Very little street parking at busy times, and the area looks a little suspect.“

“The bad: They ask what side you want but don't tell you it's an extra charge. That was a little upsetting. They made it sound like the sandwich came with a side. The place was super good! Got the Liars fuego steak melt and it didn't disappoint. Perfect level of spicy. Will definitely get again. Also go the buffalo wings. Super good. We will be back.“

“Always a great choice when you're in Studio City. A tavern feel indeed from the second you step in. Wood covers floor to ceiling all washed in a warm light. The seats at the bar are usually taken up, but it's because it just has a feel good, neighborhood hang vibe. Menus are all over the walls, listing food, a decently sized beer list, and some wine/cocktails. It might take a minute to get your order in; it's "order at the bar only", so be patient with the bartenders as they juggle their multiple job assignments. We always seem to order from the small plates menu, just so we get a little bit of everything. Fried chicken sliders, chorizo sliders, Brussels sprouts, and pork belly skewers are our regular go-to's. Grab a table inside or post up outside on the "patio"; the empty lot next to the building has been converted to an open air hang, complete with picnic tables, heaters if it's cold, lots of hanging greenery, and even an Air Stream trailer (where you can order drinks depending on the season). Find street parking or valet for $10.“

“Honestly this is the best time in town to relax, have a drink and a bite to eat. Everything about this place is class. They make great strong drinks and the food is better than you would expect. Not to mention their happy hour is definitely the best in the area and available from 3-6 m-f. I love their Smash burger and brisket tacos. Their wings and pies are good too. Brian is the best I’m sure you will meet him if you frequent this place like I do. “Was told the kitchen was already closed when we arrived but then a group of 3 that walked in after us was able to order some fries which is what we had wanted. Got an old fashioned and a Diablo. Old fashioned was good and on the stronger side. Karaoke was going on. There were a lot of people but had no trouble getting a seat and it didn't feel crowded. The bartender (I think Mike?) was nice and checked in even though it was busy.“

“Pepper and Pint is a hidden gem in the studio city area! The same owner of Jinky's, Alan, created this tavern concept. Jinky's cafe turns into an amazing tavern at 3pm with delicious drinks and Indian inspired tavern fusion. You can already tell by the plating that the food is incredible. The service is fast and super responsive! The ambiance could be worked on as it still feels like Jinky's but I think they're working on that. I heard they were going to start doing live jazz music soon so be on the lookout for that.Food: 5/5Service: 5/5Ambiance: 3.5/5Next time you're in the area check them out!“

“Okay this is going to be a long review1-beautiful atmosphere, well done ✅2-wonderful friendly staff, well done ✅3-as a very first time customer i did my research and read many reviews before fully committing to trying out this restaurant3B- I agree with everyone who shared their opinion of “leaving here hungry”3C- the food is absolutely delicious BUT the price ratio and plate proportions are off4- have you ever heard of Grandville4B- this restaurant could be Grandville’s twin, you are so close and yet just not there5- the advertised drink menu is so short and limited but in truth the bar can make many more traditional cocktails you just have to ask- the menu should show more of these options6- overall I believe this restaurant will survive but as a business can improve and dig deeper into fully servicing a bigger presentation of the community successful vs becoming a limited community customer pleaser7- i am going to put 5 stars but i am wishing i could give 4.5 stars- really wish google offered half star options“

I usually called to place the order over the phone and the customer service is always amazing. I've never been to this establishment, but I hear the owners are really good people and they have couple t. Vs, and I'm sure they have really good drinks. I don't drink myself but I'm sure others do and would find this place relaxing although it is on. Deventure itself and when you're next to a busy street. They range from cheeseburgers and chicken wings, to really good sushi. The staff is also really nice and friendly. Just to name a few of my favorites, there's Joanna, Kim, Stephanie and Ryan. They all are very friendly and provide great service. Those are just some of the great waitresses they have there. As far as the waiters, Shay and Frank are also great! The vibe is really upbeat and lively, filled with great music from a DJ, and also they have a ton of large flat screen TV's either to watch different sports, or watch some great music videos from all different genres! If you're looking for a fun bar with great atmosphere and great service than you should definitely check out HQ.“

“So glad I found this bar! Not too big, not too small- it's just right! Strong drinks at a good price. Which is hard to find nowadays :) they have a classic bar, but also a dance floor, pool table, and darts. There is an enclosed patio you can take your drinks out to, while still hearing the music from inside. There are DJ's on Friday and Saturday nights playing just about every genre of music. The crowd varies, but is always good vibes in there. Nice staff. No drama. And I've never had a hard time finding street parking nearby. Highly recommend!!!“

He pretty much worked the entire restaurant and did a fantastic job keeping up with the service and being engaged with the customers. It's a sports bar so they had on the games. I didn't really have anything to eat but the chips and salsa. Being a salsa person it was pretty goods. I'll definitely be back.“
