“Roasters is my go to place to work from in Ojai. The atmosphere is so cozy, the owner and baristas so incredibly welcoming to all, the lattes and food delicious! It’s a special place to me .. my late husband actually became friends with Stacey first, he was from Tanzania and they bonded over coffee growing and roasting that he was interested in from his native country. Because of their friendship, he would often bring me gifts (mugs, pastries..) from her and it became our go to place for a coffee date. He would always buy the coffee cake which he might have HALF a bite of but he knew I would eat it all if he got it but that I wouldn’t l order it myself :) I have many happy memories here with him, and since he passed I am creating more. It’s such a safe and cozy place to read or work or chat with other patrons. Love this place!“

“Revel kombucha Bar and açaí in Ojai has hands down the best açaí bowls I’ve ever had—no exaggeration. I come all the way from Oxnard just for them, and it’s worth every mile. The fruit is always fresh, and beautifully arranged. But what really takes it to the next level is their granola—seriously the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s crunchy, flavorful, and adds the perfect texture to the bowl.
The quality and care they put into every bowl is obvious. It’s not just a snack—it’s an experience. If you're anywhere near Ojai, you have to stop by Revel Place. Just be warned: once you try their açaí bowls, you’ll be hooked.“

“A long standing member of Venturas coffee roasting scene. Inevitably buy a bag to take home. They have their roasting down to a science.
Take coffee brewing seriously. Make their own syrups. And brew a solid cup of coffee. Easy to drink. Happy to have ordered time and again.
Open early. Usually has street parking within a few seconds walk. Easy wheelchair access.
Coffee shop has a few space to sit and enjoy the coffee. And a few tables outside.
It’s a go to consistently.“

“These folks seriously make the best chai latte I’ve ever had in my life. No sugar-loaded mixes, but rather a strong, spicy chai tea brewed in-house. And their baked goods are delectable, even featuring a selection of gluten free and vegan delights. Their customer service is stellar, too. Singing Sun is in a convenient midtown location - at the corner of Main St and Santa Cruz - and is not to be missed. But please leave me a vegan scone.“

“Compliments to Gayla, the mixers and roasters at Moore Coffee. I thought the Classic Espresso was the best. Surprisingly I find the 805 with an even more complex and rich flavor. My espresso machine labors thru the finely ground mixture and takes an eternal 30-40 seconds producing a thick crema that is almost half the shot. Good work guys!I've never been to the brick and tin but I suspect great service and atmosphere. What could be bad about the aroma of fresh roasted coffee.Fabulous!Urban Cowgill April 2024“

“Consistently soooo good! That’s my biggest issue with a lot of places is it’ll be great one time and not good the next. They have a lot of unique and sweet coffee flavors. I recommend the vanilla lavender latte. Also they put a good amount of ice, unlike Starbucks that fills up the whole cup with ice.“

“The food is authentic, generous, and surprisingly affordable for that level of quality. They only cook genuine Indian recipe (including their kaapi, served the Indian way which will taste like nothing you’ve tried before)
The service was perfect and the personnel is so welcoming, I highly recommend to stop there for a brunch, a snack or a coffee!“

“Ventura is filled with God breakfast restaurants, but this place is the OG of great breakfast. I've been coming here about 40 years, and never disappoints. Complimentary Swedish pancake is a great touch. Plus, Pepper plant on the table - nobody else does this. Don't know what it is? You don't know what you're missing.“

“As soon as I walked into the beautiful shop the delightful smell of chocolate hit me. These handmade chocolates are like pieces of art. Not only are they gorgeous, they are delicious! The unique flavors change with the seasons. A box of Ex Votos are the perfect treat or a gift.“

“This is one of the best Boba Places I've experienced. The different flavors are awesome! The place itself it really nice and great atmosphere. The staff are incredibly kind and service is very fast. I've had all my friends and family try it and they love it! If you don't like Boba their other drinks are great too!“

“Came here for dessert, specifically the matcha affogato. It was pretty good but the volume of ice cream and matcha you get isnt proportional to what you pay. The matcha had a good flavor but definitely not worth it for what you get.
Its centrally located on the downtown strip. You can check out the museum, park, Bart's bookstore and a lot of the restaurants and bars from here. We parked at the parking area across the Dutchess and stopped by here a few times while we walked around. The second time we used the restroom and I l tried the hojicha latte. That was pretty tasty well worth it for the price. Would definitely give it a shot for those that have never tried a matcha affogato.“

“Dear diary, an unexpected spiritual experience took place as I broke bread. It felt zesty, but I still ordered an iced coffee drink with maple and salt. TWas divine. I ordered my breakfast croissant with sausage and turkey because mama didn’t raise no fool. I came up for air and forgot to take a picture. I’ll be back. That’s for damn sure.“

“Yummy coffee and lemon flavored muffin/tart. Kid friendly with some books and toys for them to play as well as outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Not a huge amount of indoor seating but we were able to have a meeting of four people seated together while others could still work or meet too.“
