“I have yet to be disappointed by a drink from Beanies- in fact, it takes everything in me to not drink it too fast so I can enjoy it for longer. The first time I sipped their coffee was as I stepped out of the quaint cafe on my way to work, but I had to immediately stop walking and take a moment to reset because I could not believe how good this coffee was. Been stopping in at every chance I get, and each time it’s been equally good. The staff is kind and knowledgeable, and the Roaster/Owner knows what he’s doing and is more than happy to converse. Hoping for many many years of expertly made coffee and that Beanies becomes the local staple that know it could be. HIGHLY Recommend.“

“First off, the coffee is extremely good. The strawberry chai is a usual order, but the seasonal flavors like the campfire mocha are also great. It’s a cozy little shop with some merch and a few choice pastries. And the best of all is the service… I’m active duty and stopped by before work one morning, and discovered they had an absolutely unbelievable discount for active duty military and first responders… I won’t spoil it but if you’re one of those, you especially have to stop by.“

“Our group, ten hungry people traveling from San Francisco to Los Angeles stopped in Bakersfield for Thai-Chinese foods. We were lucky, the owner did the cooking for us. Surprisingly, the quality of the food is authentically Thai and Chinese. Kee, the owner is a Chinese from Thailand and owns 3 branches in Las Vegas and other cities too. The service is excellent! and the facilities are very clean.“

“Giant indoor dining space, for a Dutch Bros. My Chai Latte with almond milk and whipped cream was delicious. Her Rebel energy drink was also delicious. I only wish they had sleeves for the hot cups. The hot drinks are almost too hot to hold. Cmon man.

They have very good prices, and the workers were so nice and helpful. I have difficulty picking things and she was very patient. Again, so nice! I love the signs they have and the little shop is very cute. 5 Stars on all fronts!“

My adult daughter is still shopping at NW Target (Rosedale). I want to give kudos to barista Desiree. She just came on her shift. I had her checked if I had any freebies. Then, I ordered my “everything” bagel, avocado spread, my pumpkin cream cold brew. I wanted to make sure that the cold brew wasn’t as sweet as on my first try at another Starbucks. And I don’t remember on my second try, what the barista told me that was changed. That was perfect. Desiree got it right, too...left the pumpkin pump, lessen the foam. I’ll need to remember this. “This Starbucks has the best overall design in Kern County, and I've been to all of them.Prices are higher than normal because of their contract with the school food provider. As an idea, medium iced coffee and breakfast sandwich cost me about $11.50. Flavor is what would be expected from a Starbucks, not worst or better.Quiet enough to study, good vibe. Will definitely hang out here more often. The couple times I've been in, it had always been clean.Service is average at best.

“This morning was crazy busy and these poor ladies making drinks were so incredibly stressed because people were rude and they were just trying to get orders out. As I got my last drink, the lady handed it to me and she was shaking. My heart sank straight to the floor. I've worked in customer service so I completely understood her stress. I told them they were all doing a great job then rushed to work. The whole time they had a smile behind their masks, sweet and friendly, did their best to fix orders that were wrong and did so in as quickly as they possibly could as orders flooded in. So I'm giving this location a 5/5 because no matter what was thrown at them, they continued to work super hard without an attitude. Also my drink and bagel made my day and it was super yummy.“

“I went in after my shift to grab a blended pineapple passion fruit lemonade and ashley made it perfectly. Was balanced perfectly with the feta wrap i had. It's always a good vibe here.

Vegetarian options: They got the feta wrap which is super good especially with a lil hot sauce. The impossible is to die for!!!
