“HI, I have to be honest. I was trying to find a way to contact Flappy Jacks as I have a proposition I think would be perfect for Flappy Jacks I have what is probably a bit of an unusual idea. Or maybe just a good idea. I know it is an unusual way to contact you but there was no email address. So I hope this works. I am from Columbia Missouri and I am visiting my Son, Grand Kids, and family there, just a few blocks to the East of Tustin. I am a musician, part time, and I like to street busk (play music on the streets) for grins. I noticed your nostalgic decor and your Elvis statues and the mural featuring the St Louis Arch, which is in Missouri on the Mississippi, of course, where I am from, and the 1930s, 40s and 50s nostalgia, and I wondered if you ever considered, or entertained the notion of having a little nostalgic live music, every now and then, perhaps even if only just once as an experiment. I just happen to play that old classic blues from that era, mostly, at least in this capacity, as Mr. Fletcher's One Man Blues Band. And I thought we might make a pretty good match up. As I said, at least, as an experiment. You can check me out at Facebook "Keith Fletcher, musician." Though most of that music is from my original music shows, and not my one man blues sets. I noticed you had a nice patio area where I could play outside and it might be a nice treat for your customers to have a bit of entertainment, just for a change of pace. They might really appreciate it since they obviously like your atmosphere. I don't play loud music. Unless folks want that, but I prefer to play soft. Or at least in situations like this. I've been the house band for BBQ joints and restaurants on several occasions. So I am familiar with the proper decorum. Mostly I was just looking for a little music adventure in CA within a walking distance of my Son's house, where I could carry a very tiny amp about the size of a cracker box, and my guitar to a gig. I thought maybe about just doing a street gig but saw your venue and something seemed to click. I hope you think so too. I estimate you are about a mile walking distance from his house and I only need an electrical plug. And probably some cool beverages. Like I said, I'm mostly in it for a small musical adventure, and so will play for tips, though, maybe you can pay me with free cold beverages, especially if it is hot, and maybe a sandwich or meal depending on how long I am there. It all looks delicious to me. If you find you'd like to host me again, and want me back, that might be possible over the week, and I may be back for the Christmas holiday. I might even be able to talk my Son into bringing the kids and family. Could be a total bust, or could be a very nice thing, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows? If it worked out well enough for both of us, you might even want to do it again sometime, Maybe even offer some kind of fee next time, if there is a next time. Life is an adventure. You / we, might stumble onto something good. If you would like to give it a whirl, what day and time would you think is good to catch a crowd? “Wow, great tacos! That was my first thought when I bit into my Carnitas taco.

I wanted something from a local family run Place and this fit the bill. The Carnitas taco were tinged with lime which made it amazing. Although the tacos are small they are stuffed with meat, very filling. I also got the Al pastor and the barbacoa. I tasted the other two but only ate one. The barbacoa was OK but it wasn’t my favorite, but very juicy. ($2.75/taco cash)

I loved that they gave me a bag of chips in my to go order. The salsa is a fresh chunky salsa and quite spicy. I don’t like the pureed type salsa because I don’t think it usually has a good flavor. I was happy with the fresh chunky style they serve.

This is definitely a hole in the wall. It was very busy at lunchtime. Coming up to the building it looks quite grubby but I pushed past that knowing that I had great ratings. I’m glad I did. It’s definitely not an updated, well kept restaurant but the food was great. I met a family who said they’ve been coming for years and love the food.

If you want mom and pop Place it seems to be very popular with good prices, check this place out.“

“I like this place a lot! Huge menu with many healthy, vegetarian, and vegan options, but with meat options too. Prices are still reasonable, service was excellent. My chicken wrap was awesome. The day we went they had a special, $1 chips with pumpkin hummus, which was great! We got 4 chips specials for 5 people 😆“

“Great menu with lots of diversity...there is something for everyone. We usually go with 3 to 4 people in our party and often share because that allows us to try more of the menu and we have always enjoyed each and every item we have selected from the menu. Beer selection is great...almost as large as the food menu. I have always had good service at all of the Finney's I have been to for lunch or dinner... Orange, Brea and Camarillo. Great restaurant!! I would highly recommend you try it...you will not be disappointed.“

“We were in Anaheim for a Ducks game and decided we were craving dumplings. We came across Yum Dumpling and are so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant felt cozy and welcoming, and the service was excellent.

We ordered the Kung Pao chicken, house special chow mein, and the shrimp and pork spicy wontons each dish was packed with flavor and made with fresh, crunchy vegetables. “A great place to go retro to the age of train travel. And, its aside the RR tracks from LA to Oceanside and San Diego. Restaurant and bar have outside seating along the tracks but you can sit inside and still see the trains pass by. Some stop as its also a train stop (Orange). Our lunch was great. “My first visit to Nava Thai Cuisine was a delightful experience, guided by the staff's super friendly recommendations. Walking in, I felt welcomed, and the service was quick—my food was ready in just about 10 minutes, which is fantastic for a dine-in or takeout order.
The staff suggested a few favorites, and I settled on the Chicken and Vegetables with a medium spice level, and an order of the Fried Tofu.
The Fried Tofu was definitely a highlight. The portion was generous, and the texture was incredible—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and tasted almost like a savory donut! It was accompanied by two flavorful dipping sauces: a rich garlic dipping sauce and a vibrant spicy sauce, which elevated the dish perfectly.
The Chicken and Vegetables was tasty and the medium spice had a nice kick without being overwhelming. My only minor wish is that the portion size was slightly larger, as I found it to be a little on the small side. However, the freshness of the ingredients and the warm, friendly service more than made up for this small detail.
Overall, Nava Thai Cuisine offers a good experience with fantastic staff and standout dishes like their fried tofu. I would recommend this place, especially if you're looking for fast, friendly service and a great appetizer“

“The service is always great. Running between appointments, I call my order in from the car. when I get there, my table is waiting with my salad and basket of bread. My fettucine alfredo followed in 5 min. and was delicious! Had delicious meal instead of some cheap fast food and was able to make it to next appointment in plenty if time. “Good cozy tavern bar. Small place, good spot to stop on your bar hopping day. The food is too expensive tho. The turkey sandwich was dry and the fries were over cooked and too salty.

If it gets really busy it can be hard for the solo bartender to get back around to you. Over all go check it out.“

Ordered Tom Yum, Thai spicy, with shrimp:
- Really nice level of heat (I ordered it very spicy), and there were no Thai chili pepper pods I had to fish out, so that's good, and they provided extra ground Thai chilis on the side. 👍👍
- fresh mushrooms, not canned, good amount 👍👍
- heat, sourness, amazingly delicious tasting broth, hint of sweetness to contrast the bold hot and sour flavors. All the wonderful tastes melded together, lime, cilantro, galangal, lemon grass, so completely developed and full flavored 👍👍 👍
- giant shrimp, tails on, so tender and delicious and lots of them. 👍👍👍
Bottom line, I've been hunting for the best Tom Yum in SoCal, and I have found it at Royal Thai Orchid. I was settling before, now, never more. Makes me REALLY want to taste their other menu items. Just ordered Tom Yum for the 4th time in the past week (yes, I am obsessed and yes, it's that good), but this time I ordered some stuffed chicken wings as well. Will be amazing I'm sure. 😁“
