“I’ve been here twice now and I can’t believe how good it is. I can’t say that I know what authentic Chinese food is, but the taste is very different from the usual Chinese-American places. It reminds me of places in Chinatown in San Francisco.

I had the Kung pao chicken and Chongqing chicken (which already tells you that it’s not your usual place) and they’re very flavorful while not being overtly sweet or salty. I also get an idea of a Chinese restaurant based on the hot and sour soup and this place makes one of the best in the area. It’s different enough to notice.

I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves Chinese-American food, but wants something a bit different from the 99% of the Chinese restaurants out there. And you can also have the usual chow mein or orange chicken if you want.“

“Absolutely one of the best local Chinese restaurants in the area as you can see in the picture there is no one here at 7pm is a shame as seriously some of the best food in the area and yet maybe people just don't know? But I needed to try a fried plate like general chicken. The general chicken is fire! It’s not all breading! You’re getting full on chicken and the sauce is crazy! Very delicious. They use natural ingredients and don't rely on MSG to create flavorful meals. I would highly recommend trying them out for take-out or dine-in. We ordered pork fried rice, pork chow mien, general Tao chicken, and Mongolian beef. 2 adults and one very hungry teenager ate and we had enough for left overs for all of us the next day. “My family had a wonderful experience at Asian Bistro! The owners were so nice and brought my husband a Pepsi Zero from their personal stash, even though it isn't on the menu.

They have a separate gluten free menu and they take care to prepare the gluten free dishes in clean pans and oil. I ordered the gluten free lemon chicken and vegetable fried rice, which were both delicious. My family ordered several dishes from the regular menu and really enjoyed them.

I went with my vegetarian friend and we had the sizzling braised tofu with vegetables.. it was very flavorful (black bean sauce) and we had their mixed vegetables.. I really enjoyed the food, filled my plate three times and still had leftovers for home. They also had lemon water as well as regular water.. it was a hot day outside so the lemon water was very refreshing. I would definitely go again when I am in the area.“

“1st time getting takeout there. Staff was very nice. Very expensive. Food was ok. Lemon chicken tasted good but the chicken was old, chewy and dry. Sweet and Sour pork was ok and had no pineapple in it which was odd. Chewy and not great tasting pork. Chow mein was good. Broccoli beef was good. Really 3.5 stars so 4 stars os generous. We won't be back. $55 for 4 items is insane. Sorry.“

“Sonora location. Tried when first opened and few weeks ago. It was clean (new) and great service. Re-visited yesterday and totally the opposite! Counter was dirty, all food was low. It was 4 o’clock and not busy. The cook, other gentleman and waitress was very unprofessional and unsanitary! The cook, yes while wearing gloves, continued to touch dirty services and our food. At one point he had his cell phone in his hand looking at it while cooking our food. Phone back in dirty pocket, touching his hair then back to cooking our food! The conversation between the three of them were load and unprofessional. I was so ready to leave! Definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.“
