“We went for a birthday dinner; the hostess was a little shocked because we were the first to arrive. They were not very quick to take our order and slow to deliver the various dishes. They came so randomly, that some of us were done before others had begun. The upside is that in spite of the party size the food was good. “Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“My personal experience here was very positive one and the employee that served me was very kind and helpful her name was Nia and she did a wonderful job. The food was pretty good on par with other sushi restaurants around. Inside there a moderately loud environment but nothing that prevented conversation. Overall I had a good experience here and will definitely put it on my list of top sushi spots.“

Absolute BEST Shrimp Tempura I have ever had!
The shrimp was hot and crispy and properly battered. Most importantly it was completely deveined! No other local sushi or Japanese restaurant has properly deveined their Shrimp Tempura as far as I have sampled. The Maguro Bluefin Tuna Sushi was the proper color, no smell at all, and was actually COLD on top of the rice! The New York Cheesecake bites were aldo served cold. The Taiyaki Ice Cream alone was worth the visit. The Miso Soup was good as well. BEST Japanese food I have had!“

Prices vary from lunch to dinner was $27, plus drinks and takeout box was $6 time a tiny box that only fits 8 shushi. Order digitally from the table. This place is always packed, arrive early. Ice cream is one scoop per bowl, so order two for each person. Same with appetizers 2 pieces per order, so order more than one! Not bad for the prices. If you love shushi this is the place for you!“

The staff from chefs, wait staff, to kitchen staff, greet, engage you with friendly smiles. The food is always amazing my kids enjoy their chef choice (Omakase) rolls. Matter of fact we always leave it up to the chef to make whatever they see fit to serve us. Never been disappointed and always left our appetites pleasantly satisfied. When it’s time to leave, as you walk out the doors, you’re always sent off with “ We’ll See You Tomorrow”. It takes every ounce of willpower to not return the next day.
