“I love Nick the Greek! My go-to order is the Nick Fries and the Chicken Gyro Pita — there’s just something about the flavor that always hits the spot. It’s seasoned perfectly and consistently delicious every time.

I’ll even DoorDash it to my house when I’m craving it, but when I’m in the area, I like stopping by to eat inside. The restaurant is always clean, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is fast and efficient.

“I give the highest caterer recommendation to Ikaros To Go (catering by the team that ran Ikaros restaurant). They planned and managed a very delicious memorial dinner for us for approximately 75 guests. The customer service and food were excellent - our menu included roasted salmon, vegetarian mousaka, rice, Greek salad and garlic bread, plus dessert of Baklava and sugar cookies which everyone also loved. They also handled dinnerware, water, lots of set up and clean up, soft drinks and pretty bottled Greek waters for the tables. They were extremely considerate, thoughtful, flexible, organized and reliable. Ikaros to Go went above and beyond and made our event very special. We are very grateful - Thank you Ikaros to Go!“

“Finally ate here and the food is really quite good. Mezze platter was delicious and I was able to get gluten free pita! They also have a lot of vegetarian options, many featuring impossible meat. So I had the Impossible wrap and it’s really well spiced, very tasty and huge! Leftovers! The only disappointment was the spanakopita which was very bland and didn’t seem to have any feta in it. My mom was very disappointed. They offered to remake it which was very nice. We’ll be back!“

“I had such a great experience at Nick the Greek in Walnut Creek thanks to Edwin and Tonya. They were so helpful walking me through the menu and making recommendations, and because of them I tried the Chicken Souvlaki Pita for the first time. Now I’m obsessed – I’ve already gone back twice in one week because it’s so good. On top of the delicious food, I genuinely enjoy talking with Edwin and Tonya every time I stop by; they are incredibly kind, friendly, and make the place feel welcoming. “I'm not from around here. Finished a work meeting and someone recommended a nearby kebab shop for Shawarma, but I prefer to support local over a chain--I'm sure both would've been good. Food was prepared fresh (didn't seem to be frozen falafel, for example). I ordered the combo (chicken + lamb) shawarma (wrap) with a side of falafel. Was fantastic, hot, prepared quickly, and service was ON POINT. Super friendly. Very pleased with my decision. The dining room isn't anything too special, but the food is what mattered. Highly recommended!“
