“This CRUMBL location in Oxnard, CA is my go to place. It's the closest one to my home and also my exercise gym. It is such a great place to have found for last-minute treats that are always available and always changing per month to month so i can try new ones almost every time I go. I love them so much because they sell delicious cookies that I divide into quarters.. And then lay them out onto a plate so people can try different flavor flavors and find the one they like the most. It is always a hit! “I recently visited Pacific Sushi Mex and had a really good experience overall.

The food was delicious — I especially loved the shrimp in red sauce (camarones à la diabla) , it had a rich flavor and tasted very well prepared. The beans on the side were also surprisingly good and had a homemade taste. I’ve also tried their sushi before and enjoyed it as well.

During my visit, someone who seemed to be part of the management or overseeing the location came by and checked in with me. He was very attentive and took the time to make sure I was having a good experience, which made a big difference.

The only thing I would mention is that the service can sometimes be inconsistent. There have been times when I felt a bit overlooked when dining alone, while other visits have been much better. I do think there is room for improvement in that area.

Overall, the food quality and the attention I received during this visit made a positive impression, and I would definitely come back.”

“I had a great experience at this Subway thanks to the excellent customer service. I was trying to place an order through the app so I could use a coupon, but there was a glitch that wouldn’t allow me to update the store location. I went into the restaurant and used the kiosk instead, but when I got to checkout, the coupon wasn’t being honored.

I explained the situation to the employee at the counter, and she let me know the coupon was intended for app orders. After I showed her the issue I was having with the app, she didn’t hesitate to help and honored the coupon for me. That level of understanding and willingness to assist was greatly appreciated.

After placing my order, she even took the time to confirm that all the ingredients listed were exactly how I wanted my sub prepared. I stepped outside while my order was being made, and when I came back in, she was helping another customer. Even so, she made sure the employee at the service counter knew I was there for a pickup so I wouldn’t have to wait any longer than necessary.

It’s rare to find customer service that attentive and proactive. Thank you for going above and beyond to make sure I had a positive experience!”

“The community that frequents this local haunt has long known about the juicy cuts of tri-tip--each adorned with perfectly-timed, seared grill marks--and chicken roasted with zesty flavor only hinted at by a tinge of orange color.

My first recollections of eating El Pollo Norteno were back in the late 90’s. There is an inside joke among old-world, traditional Mexican families where your “jefa” -- colloquial Mexican slang for mom -- or “jefe” would be inevitably dissatisfied with any kind of restaurant food: “I can make this better at home”. And to be honest, they were right. El Pollo Norteno was probably one of the sole exceptions: graduation days, birthdays, Copa Mundial, World Series, and Super Bowl parties -- all fitting occasions to walk in with several trays laden with glistening tri-tip and grilled chicken from El Pollo Norteno. And in between those times, when we’d want a nice weekend dinner out, El Pollo Norteno was always a top choice. Decades later this restaurant fills a special spot that is nostalgic and delicious.

What to actually get on the menu? Head straight to the combo plates of tri-tip and chicken and pick your favorite kind of tortilla--flour or corn. I’m partial to corn tortillas. Skip the burritos and bowls--if you don’t want the extra carbs just get the plate and don’t eat the tortillas. The blended salsa is really good, especially with the small bag of house-made chips. I wouldn’t bother with getting extra sides of rice or beans, but only get small sizes if you do get the additional sides -- the protein is the star of the show here.”

It is such a great place to have found for last-minute treats that are always available and always changing per month to month so i can try new ones almost every time I go. I love them so much because they sell delicious cookies that I divide into quarters.. And then lay them out onto a plate so people can try different flavor flavors and find the one they like the most. It is always a hit! I always get extra sauce on any pizza, Toppers did not disappoint from crust to toppings. Yum! I can’t speak on service or atmosphere in house but the delivery service was great!

“Hansel’s homemade ice cream since 1945 is their tag line. The ice creams are old fashion with updated flavors. The ice cream’s texture are sticky and gooey- in a good way. Delicious!!!! They have so many flavors, not only classics such as vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, or coffee, but also more contemporary flavors such as taro, cheesecake and others.
Other classic are banana split, milkshakes, and parfait. You can’t get these at newer places. Highly recommended.”

“This is a food truck that parks in the Vons shopping center. I ordered a steak and shrimp plate. It’s not overly salted, which is how I prefer it. The veggies are nice and crisp. Dip them in the ginger sauce, and the veggies rise to another level. You can choose between plain rice or fried rice. Obvi I’m gonna go with the fried rice. The fried rice still retains a bit of moisture, and I love that. Other spots serve a dry fried rice, and it’s cool if that’s your thing but I prefer it not so dry. Be sure to ask for extra white sauce and pour that over your rice. Explosion of flavor in your mouth! I asked for Medium cooked steak, of which was served at just the right temperature. The steak has a nice exterior sear, while maintaining the juicy center. I feel like the shrimp can use a little charring on the outside, but overall they were fully cooked and still had a nice crunch to them. Again, that white sauce will elevate the shrimp. Every time I order, my order is ready within 15 minutes. Staff seem friendly and they always have a smile on their face. The food truck itself looks clean and well kept. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. I will keep coming back.”

“Nice place, friendly people. Chilaquiles- not on the menu, but it was pretty good. Ordered one red sauce and one green sauce. I recommend the Red sauce- the Rojas. Green sauce- verdes- not so much, just chips stir fried in their salsa- I don’t recommend those.
Rice is good, Beans are standard.

$37 for 2 chilaquiles, including tax. Comes out to $18.50 per order. I always have some carne asada sprinkled. Makes it better tasting.”
