But talking about service, can you imagine our surprise when a waitress walked over to our table and gave us 50.00 in cash (not credit) saying that we overpaid on our last visit - a month ago! I have been cursed with the capsaicin sensitivity gene, so I can't tolerate the"heat" 🥵 that many other ethnicities can handle in their customary cuisine... dang European ancestry 🫠😆, but I do enjoy things to have seasoning and not taste like cardboard. My husband loves the hot stuff and got it on the side. Too often I end up not being able to eat the food from most taquerias, even after explaining my issues, but not the case here, everything was awesome. The beans are flavorful, soft, & not hard nor mushy. The rice is cooked perfectly, so it was fluffy with a soft mouth feel without being mushy and not a single undercooked grain to break any teeth, as I find all too often. The herbs & veggies are very fresh. They also used red onions instead of white, which also added flavor without the heat that I was so grateful for. The plentiful asada was cooked fresh for your order, no heat lamp nuggets or brown bits here, and tasted great! We happened to just drop in for lunch, had a wonderful conversation with the staff and other customers, and totally enjoyed our excellent meal. They specialize in Ceviche, having won 1st place at the Ceviche Chow Down the last two years, '24 & '25, that's held yearly at the Olivas Adobe. The event raises funds for Mission FISH, a non-profit dedicated to providing fishing therapy trips for Veterans, Active Duty Military, First Responders, and Gold Star Families. Proceeds this year were to support “Operation Anacapa 2025,” Mission FISH’s 10th annual fishing trip that gives over 100 heroes a day of Fishing, Interacting, Sharing & Healing. Great people and excellent food! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

“Olive Garden is always a nice place to eat at but it’s even nicer during the holidays. The garlic bread never disappoints and the chicken Alfredo is always my go to! Every server experience is different but this particular waitress named Desiree did such an outstanding job and took very good care of me and my family that I thought she deserved more than just a big tip but also a great review. She was very knowledgeable of the food & drinks menu and answered every single question that my mother-in-law threw at her. She was very attentive and on top of things even when it got busy for her because she had to multi-task and juggle different tables. One of her tables was actually being pretty rude and giving her a hard time all night but she handled it with such grace and patience. I don’t know how she did it but she managed to stay positive and smiling the whole time. It definitely didn’t affect her performance with the rest of her tables including us. She for sure deserves a raise or Christmas bonus after that.”

My husband ordered a carne asada burrito. We were both very happy with our selection. The season was perfect! This place seems to be a good spot for menudo. By the way corn tortillas are hand made. Oh ! What's a Memela ? It's a thick hand made tortilla with melted cheese and the sauce of your choice. Yes!!! An opened quesadilla! Between a quesadilla and a gordita ! I opted for the green salsa because it's their most mild salsa. But so delicious! Provecho Everyone”

My boyfriend and I have been helped by him twice now, and both times he’s been phenomenal. The first time, Devon helped us pick out two cheesecakes that were spot on — like he somehow knew our taste better than we did. The second time, he helped us choose another flavor, and again totally nailed it.

He’s upbeat, friendly, and just has this way of making the whole experience feel fun and personal. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does — his energy makes a difference.

The takeout area was spotless, everything was packed perfectly, and he made sure we left happy (and drooling over dessert).

If you’re picking up cheesecake in Oxnard, ask for Devon. He’s the kind of employee who turns a quick stop into a reason to come back.”

“Great venue for live music! They have an ample dance floor, tables to sit at indoors and several beautiful fire pits on the patio overlooking the harbor! A small but tasty menu for food and a limited beer/wine selection. We always have a great time there!!”

“Cool place in interesting to be able to order Mexican and Sushi and believe it or not the sushi was good and the Mexican was excellent a few of us had. Tacos and then salmon sushi and some rolls”

“Went in today for a large taro drink and I can say it would now be one of my go to favorite drinks. The atmosphere was great! And I was greeted when I walked in the store. The cashier whose name was jasmine on the receipt gave great recommendations. Will say I would have hoped for more boba in my drink but overall will be coming back :)”

They were very welcoming we called to order on the phone they told us that this is not an option but we will be more than happy to help you through the drive-thru so we went to the drive-thru and we were welcomed very nicely different than regular drive-thru
ordered 10 of their popular Burger and they gave us complimentary fries complimentary sauces it felt like a food experience i mean when you go to get food you want to feel like you're getting food not doing retail like most of the fast food places in our area.
they treat you just like a customer they want your money and leave.
no this place is actually a place that serve food so if you want to enjoy a bite with a very nice atmosphere I highly recommend this place .
