“We were traveling and staying in Oxnard. We found masala twist on google and decided to give it a try. It was such a jem. Very authentic Punjabi Indian food, we are so glad we stopped by. “Our nephew and his wife took us there today for breakfast. I had the Breakfast Burrito with brisket, and it was sensational! I’ve never cooked a brisket, and Tom kindly showed me two he smoked last night, both beautifully browned and crusty, and ready to be sliced across the grain. My husband had an egg and cheese croissant sandwich, and scarfed it down. We shared a huge glass of delicious orange juice. A breakfast to remember! And we’ll be back! Thanks, Tom and Dalton!“

“I love how their hamburgers and fries taste. Last time I was there, no cashier would come over to help me and when my order was ready nobody announced it. I had to go over and wait a good 3-5min for somebody to come over and ask me what I needed. So I ask if my order was ready and sure enough it was sitting on the counter for I don't know how long. That was upsetting for me because I like my fries as hot as they can be. I was also upset cause I was in a hurry and couldn't ask them to replace it cause that would imply spending more time there which I didn't have. But the hamburgers and fries are very delicious specially for what you pay.“

My server was Payton, she was kind, attentive, and made sure my food and drink order were correct, hot, and that the refill for the drink was always ready! The manager on duty Jonathan, also stopped at my table to ask how the evening was going and also helped make sure our food made it out in a timely manner. “Olive Garden is always a nice place to eat at but it’s even nicer during the holidays. The garlic bread never disappoints and the chicken Alfredo is always my go to! Every server experience is different but this particular waitress named Desiree did such an outstanding job and took very good care of me and my family that I thought she deserved more than just a big tip but also a great review. She was very knowledgeable of the food & drinks menu and answered every single question that my mother-in-law threw at her. She was very attentive and on top of things even when it got busy for her because she had to multi-task and juggle different tables. One of her tables was actually being pretty rude and giving her a hard time all night but she handled it with such grace and patience. I don’t know how she did it but she managed to stay positive and smiling the whole time. It definitely didn’t affect her performance with the rest of her tables including us. She for sure deserves a raise or Christmas bonus after that.“

Let me start out by saying, as someone who loves Korean food this is easily the best Korean food in Ventura county, probably some of the best you'll get outside of Los Angeles. The Galbi is tender well seasoned and on point, side dishes are fresh, authentic and they serve what might be some of the best kimchi you'll try outside of Korea. Now for what has me scratching my head....what you see in this picture is a dinner entree with side dishes a small side of soup, rice and a side of gochujang. For all of this including tax but no tip was almost 49 dollars! 49 dollars for a decent but not large portion of excellent food, just enough for one person. This same amount of food from a similarly top rated Korean restaurant in Los Angeles, San Diego Bay area etc would not be more than about 35 to 38 dollars. I know that its outside of a major market/city and with inflation and everything, but geez almost 50 bucks for 1 plate of Kalbi togo....Its hard to understand how management can justify those prices. That being said, the price won't keep me from returning, i just find it hard to understand why the prices are so high. I guess you pay a premium for premium Korean food in this part of the state.“

My boyfriend and I have been helped by him twice now, and both times he’s been phenomenal. The first time, Devon helped us pick out two cheesecakes that were spot on — like he somehow knew our taste better than we did. The second time, he helped us choose another flavor, and again totally nailed it.

He’s upbeat, friendly, and just has this way of making the whole experience feel fun and personal. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does — his energy makes a difference.

The takeout area was spotless, everything was packed perfectly, and he made sure we left happy (and drooling over dessert).
