Had the chicken fried steak for dinner, hash browns were offered so I jumped at the opportunity, gravy silky smooth and didn't taste like a packet or flavorless canned junk... potatoes were crispy and not super oily... dinner roll was soft and fluffy... and as a bonus, they gave me the mashed potatoes as well! Staff was super friendly, funny and all around wonderful, if you want a full warm belly and a little bit of being at home.. this is the place“

I’ve never cooked a brisket, and Tom kindly showed me two he smoked last night, both beautifully browned and crusty, and ready to be sliced across the grain. “I was first introduced to Bright Spark In March at the Ventura Beer Experience. We talked with a lovely couple behind the table and tasted Day Trip, which has become my all-time favorite. We were introduced to a concept called Musical Bingo that day, and I was delighted to make my first visit to the brewery on my 55th birthday in May. Every single one of the employees there was kind, gracious, and warm. The food was absolutely amazing and the Musical Bingo is so much fun!
