“Absolutely must try sushi spot. I have eaten at very fancy sushi places and this place not only beats those fancy places but it does it at such a reasonable price. All the sushi we ate was fresh and big portions. We loved it so much we went back twice on our 3-day road trip! There is an outdoor patio so we were able to bring our dog which was a plus. Also shoutout to the service, it was excellent and the waitresses were so lovely and nice. If we ever pass thru again, we are 1000% stopping by.“

“Ordered 3 sushi rolls and the chicken teriyaki entree. Food was definitely delicious and thoroughly enjoyed it. Service can be significantly improved!! Each time we had to call the server to our table if we needed something. Made it a challenge to add more meals to the order if desired.

Overall rating would have been higher if service can improve.“

“It was nice but the beef/steak was too chewy I recommend chicken and some people brought alcohol from outside which I found interesting. That being said, it was a nice experience trying Japanese dishes with all halal options, workers were nice people and the establishment has great vibes.“

“I went to Bada Kitchen because I saw all the outstanding reviews. I am sure sorry I did not make it to the restaurant sooner because it is one of the best places I have had on the peninsula.

I ordered 2 shrimp sushi rolls. With one of them I asked if they could make the roll “not spicy.” Bada Kitchen made it happen!!! Was a fantastic experience from start to finish!!!! I have already went back 2 more times since I first discovered this place!“

“This restaurant is so magical. The food is phenomenal. Everything we’ve ever ordered has tasted so so good. I highly recommend the yin-yan salmon and grilled salmon filet. The service is stellar and the people who work there are super nice. The prices are totally reasonable, especially for the food quality and taste and the service. I would expect to pay double for the food quality and service. And the ambiance is really nice - it’s cozy, romantic, and very cute. Excited to come back soon!“

“I enjoyed the food very much. I loved the tuna and yellowtail rolls, and the local King salmon nigiri, something I have never had before. We were asked to sit at the sushi bar I think because there were only two of us, and the tables were four tops. I was okay with that because I liked watching the chef prepare the sushi. There is a $40 minimum per person and if you have ordered too little, you will have a menu shoved in your face asking you what else you would like. It ended up being too much food but I ate it happily because it was all tasty. Just an odd experience. Service was a little brusque, overall. But I'm glad we tried it since there are only a couple of sushi restaurants in Carmel.“

He was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. It's rare to receive service that's both professional and personable. “5/17-26: Today I had lunch at teriyaki madness. I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki bowl which came with white rice, mixed vegetables, and salmon which I made a Combo and ordered Edamame and a Large Fountain Soda all for $19.42😋. After receiving my order I put additional Teriyaki Sauce over all my food and used Siracha sauce and Kikoman Lite soysauce for a great tasting bowl. Thr Edamame comes in a little box full of flavor. The Edamame is lite salted and definitely give you plenty of them. Definitely great place for your protein and to get your Madness on!😋👍🤑“

“My wife and I will be paying a visit to the Presidio in a few weeks. We have many fond memories there from 1986/1987 when I was a Polish student and she was a Czech student, both of us U.S. Army. We met there and were married in Pacific Grove on our lunch hour. In our minds it's a magical place (and a superb language school) that expanded our horizons. We're returning to the U.S. after many years overseas.“
