“Some of the best BBQ we’ve had in the Bay Area. George helped me out on July 4th for a small family gathering. Everyone loved the food, especially the ribs and green beans.
He told me they also do catering which we will consider for future events!“

“Really good Chinese BBQ place. All of the bread items we tried were flaky and tasty, highly recommend the brown sugar one. The skewers were all solid, and I appreciated that the beef had a more teriyaki-style flavor, because too much cumin starts to get a bit sameish. In that regard, you should consider getting an order of the lettuce leaves to use as a wrap for the skewers, it's a great palette cleanser and adds some nice texture.
Would love to go again, but it's a bit far from my house and Chinese BBQ isn't something you can do too frequently.“
“great korean bbq plates. I usually get the beef bulgogi or the spicy pork.“

“LITERALLY THE BEST WE’VE EVER HAD. The meat was perfect, and the Kanafah is a MUST. The platter can feed a family of eight. We had such a good time eating here, and will be coming back soon!
All hallal. Also we got in a little late, and they were still able to accommodate which was very nice of them. Food and service 10/10“

“Really solidly good Hawaiian food. I had family visiting from France who wanted to try Hawaiian food and they loved it! Especially high praise coming from Parisians used to amazing restaurants. It's a small place and nothing fancy but the food is really, really good. If you haven't been, you should definitely try it!“

“The woman that took my order was really nice. The price was standard for a lunch, I got the chicken katsu plate, it was 12.50, so pretty standard. It was really good even tho i had like no appetite. The shop was kinda dirty but its not like I has eating there.“
“Best roast duck & rice plate in SF for $11. I've patronize Top's Cafe since forever! Before covid this was full service restaurant. Still serving the community as a deli like service. Come and enjoy the flavors! You won't be disappointed.“

“This Ohana Hawaiian BBQ location felt dirty and dilapidated. There's a weird outdoors picnic table inside the restaurant. Food crumbs and trash are on the tables. The girl taking orders spoke with barely audible words. Probably not the best person for that job. My meals were fried fish $11.25 and bbq katsu mix $12.25. Both tasted OK.“

“The food here is awesome. Don't sit around in the place, it's like a fast food restaurant in person: bleak and no one cares what it looks like. All you need to do is pick up the food! The chicken katsu was great and the meat medley/combo dish. Love this!
Parking: There's an in n out right next to it and the line was out of the parking lot (insane). That blocks off spots to park but we parked anyway and people were very accommodating.“
“Boneyard catered our wedding and all of the guests were pleased. The chicken, pulled pork, and brisket were true to form -- what you'd expect from a *good* BBQ joint in Texas. The staff (Rich and his family) were friendly, professional, and did an excellent job. Sides were delectable, the iced tea was perfect, and all leftovers were boxed up at the end. Needless to say, we enjoyed the leftovers. Highly recommended.“

“My first time stopping by 02/27/25 to order take out and the beautiful lady who took my order was very friendly & polite. She gave me accurate timing of wait which was 15-20mins. The chicken chowmein and salt& pepper fried chicken wings did not disappoint my son’s tastebuds lol. Glad I checked this place out, I will be back 😊“

“Our regular L&L. When we are too lazy to cook, we would ordered the following: mini Bbq chicken or a mini chicken Katsu or mini garlic Basa( yummy) or Spam musubi. These are our favorite. You can’t go wrong with these items. I also order party trays for potluck Christmas luncheon.“

“We were a party of six, and all six of us found the food to be excellent. We ordered a 6-dish special meal that included a steamed fish fillet. I don't think it was a fresh fish, but it was large and plenty good. We were able to pick garlic noodles, which is one of my favorites, as one of our 6 dishes.“

“Korean place with good vegan options. Items are labelled vegetarian on the menu, some items need to be modified to be made vegan. Clarify that the banchans are vegan (they have fish cake sometimes). Like greens, bean sprouts, and fried tofu banchan they have. Bathroom was nice and clean.
Love the mushroom tofu soup, really flavorful and they are generous with the mushrooms. Also got the hot stone tofu bibimbap, make sure to ask for no egg to make it vegan. Good option to go to if going with a group of omnis, can also accomodate larger groups as well but would consider making a reservation if the party is 6+.“

“All the one star reviews are L I E R S. All because they didn’t get the same attention they got as a kid…ANYWAYS I def recommend this restaurant!!! Came in on a Sunday around 6 and was seated right away. Servers were running up and down ATTENDING to the customers who ordered before we got there (obviously). Ordered our food and while we waited, they brought out the banchans(sides dishes). Food took about 20 mins which is a good sign they make their food fresh and not from the fridge like other places. Food was hot when it got to the table. Servers checked on us and were super nice!! Vibes were cozy and as kpop was playing in the background. Oh I’m def coming back here again“

“Don’t come for the ambience but do come for Canto comfort Chinese food. This is as local as it can be. The whole ambience is a reminder to those greasy, savory, comforting food I grew up enjoying. The best items are the bbq items in combo with a wonton noodle soup, finished with a plate of stir fried vegetables or the “ho fun” or broad rice noodles with shrimp and egg sauce. I enjoy browsing the menu but most of the time I end ordering the same dishes.
If I were to have a last meal, my usual from Mr Fong would be it.
As I tell my family: “Mr. Fong can’t go wrong.”“

“Street parking can be hard but we were lucky to find one not too far away.
It was busy on a Saturday evening with what seems like a lot of regulars. We were a party of 5 and they sat us at a table for 4 and added a chair on the end. Once we ordered, they moved us to a big table. We ordered way too much for 5 people. Ending up taking a lot home.
Everything was very good. Except the veggie was a little too tough/mature. And the mixed mushroom with egg tofu was not mixed mushroom but only one type of mushroom. The egg tofu was very good with the broccoli.
The bbq pork with chicken appetizer was good too. The bbq pork was so juicy and flavorful.
Portions here are very big and prices are reasonable.“

“I like this place. Basic, no frills, Hawaiian BBQ. My favorite is the Shrimp Noodle soup. Large bowl of veggies' shrimp and super hot broth. Noodles on the side in the to go orders. Such nice noodles. Cooked perfectly so they finish cooking when you add them to the hot broth. Highly recommended. All of the other Hawaiian BBQ dishes also on the menu. Not much on atmosphere though.“

“A lot of locals say this place has the best Hong Kong style barbecue meats in the city, that is when I had to make a visit and see for myself. Upon arrival, the lines was out of the door and that kept me wondering to see if what they did was true. That was not really the case because they just had one person chopping for all the customers. Also the store is very compact, so not much people can just wait inside to crowd the whole place up. They offer roast duck, chicken, soy sauce chicken, chau siu, roast pork, wok fresh items and much more. They used to have dine in, but after Covid they removed that option and it is strictly for to go now. When it was my turn to order, I just went with my normal go to which is roast duck, because if you mess that up then no need of a revisit. The skin was semi crispy, meat was slightly warm and a lot of fat than meat ratio. To conclude people’s opinions and facts, this is definitely not the best Hong Kong barbecue shop in the city. I know where the best one is and most people agree with my option. I do have to say the staffs here were welcoming and well trained which made my visit an issue free one. I recommend this place if you are in need of a quick bite, to anyone on a limited time or if you live nearby. I might be back in the future to tryout the other options they have to offer.“

“The charcoal grills are a new experience for me. It was awesome! Food was delicious! Service was great! My only complaint would be for the ventilation to be better/stronger. I know to expect to smell like KBBQ after, but I think ventilation can be improved.“

“We’ve been heading over to The Night Market for the past few years! The classics are all good, Hainan Chicken, Beef Chow Fun, minced Beef over rice. But if you want to try something unique to The Night Market try the Longan Crispy Pork over rice. I can’t imagine a dish that so uniquely represents the Asian American experience. Finish it off with a mango Sago!“

“The dining room remains a bit dirty. After people eat, they don't clean it up. It is unappetizing to eat at a dirty table. It is best to take it to-go. The fried tilapia $14 is what I got this time. That tasted OK. I had the BBQ chicken earlier last month. That was not good. It had a rubbery skin and it was hard to chew. The fried tilapia fish is much better.“

“It's very hard finding crunchy chicken skin that is cooked perfectly to bring home and enjoy with rice and papaya salad!
Grill City will load a bag for you, which is only about 1LB for under $15! That's a great deal for cooked chicken skin.
There are many other great food options, but this is my go-to for chicken skin!!“

“The meat was tender and smokey with rich flavor. The ribs were tasty. My wife liked the brisket, it was moist and had good texture. The beans were ordinary. The slaw was good. Everyone liked the corn bread.“
