“From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was great.

I have food allergies and they were able to accommodate me without issue. Our server, a young woman originally from Louisiana, was friendly, funny, and attentive. The indoor/outdoor vibe was spot on for a beautiful day.

The food itself was very good and just the right amount. The beer selection was varied to fit most tastes. The prices for both were in line with a mid-range restaurant in Burbank.

Being in downtown Burbank, parking was challenging for us. Even with a handicapped card I had to park over two blocks away. That was not fun but it was the same for all restaurants and shops in the area and not just Finney's - something to be aware of if you're going downtown.

I would gladly return when I'm in the area again.“

“This little hidden gem!!! Food was AMAZING! Fried chicken, candied yams, greens, macaroni and cheese, beef ribs...all were delicious! We live in Ventura County and drove to the San Fernando Valley to check this place out. It was worth the drive.
The food takes 20-25 minutes to be served and I am petfectly fine with that because it it made to order. Check them out. The owner is very attentive and provides great service!“

“EXCELLENT experience!!! We went here for my birthday dinner and not only was the food delicious and fresh, but the service was INCREDIBLE. We ordered one small drink, the burrata, meatballs, and tagliatelle, and our waitress (Kristin?) also brought us a comped cauliflower just because she wanted us to try her favorite thing. I forgot names, so sorry, but we interacted with a hostess, our main waitress, and another girl who were all so sweet and kind. They also ended up bringing us out an extra penne dish (not pictured). My daughter ordered the seasonal sorbet (peach-blood orange), and then they also brought me out a scoop of housemade vanilla ice cream to top off my birthday celebration. The service we received was really spectacular.

We would absolutely go back, even without the freebies.“

“Burger was good. For some reason, not as good as it used to be a few months ago tastewise. Bun, was unfortunately soggy as usual.

Staff there is fantastic, WELL TRAINED and is attentive. It's your customers' needs all of the time, so I know they're trained properly, as I have been a corporate trainer for restaurant chains.

Would be great if they stopped cooking fries & chips with deadly seed oils and used Healthy Beef Tallow instead. If they truly care - I'm certain they'll get their act together soon.

And I hope that they stop making the buns so soft that the beef, patty, it causes it to be very soggy.

Some people think that's the way a burger. It's supposed to be, but it's not. I've made plenty avergers at home, that are never soggy. Even when we ordered the buns well toasted, they still wind up soggy, half the time.“

“First time here and we loved it. The throwback steakhouse vibe stays close to its roots and provides a really nice atmosphere. We were looking to go casual and had the Wagyu burger and it was phenomenal. Mix in great cocktails, friendly and efficient service and a strong dessert menu and this gets an easy 5 starts. As a staple in the valley for over 75 years, it shows they’re obviously doing a lot of things right. If you’re anywhere near The Valley Inn, do yourself a favor and get in there ASAP!“

“My lunch today at Urbane Cafe was honestly the highlight of my week. The dining room has a friendly buzz to it, busy but not chaotic. Friendly staff for sure. Andrew, who was running food, seemed to have a sixth sense for who needed what; They dropped off my salad in record time even though I forgot my table number. The Crunchy Peanut Salad itself was a masterclass in balance: crisp greens, tangy dressing, a hint of heat, and a crunch from the toppings that made every bite interesting. Then came the cookie (which deserves its own paragraph tbh) it was warm, fragrant, and had that satisfying “pull apart” texture. Andrew even joked that I’d probably need a second one, and honestly, they weren’t wrong. If every restaurant had this kind of atmosphere and service, I’d never cook at home again.“

“Waiter was extremely rude. It was my birthday and she treated us horribly. To top it all off at the end she brought out the double chocolate cake with ice cream with NO candle. We asked her for the candle immediately and it took her over 15 minutes to bring the candle for us. The ice cream was completely melted by the time she brought the candle. Utterly rude and disrespectful. Never will be back. I hope the management sees this message and fixes their waiters attitudes.“

“Amazing cafe for quick bites or full brunches. Super vegan friendly, they also have some vegan desserts. We ordered the Avocado toast, Vegan breakfast burrito, and the Breakfast bowl. All the dishes were delicious! Their Lattes are also a must try - we tried the Rose Latte (with oat milk) and it was yum! (wish it was hotter though). The location is near the freeway so very convenient for travelers. Highly recommend.“
