“We came from out of town and heard wonderful things about CaliCafe, so of course we had to try it! We are happy to say, it did not disappoint!! The service was impeccable, everyone was so happy and friendly and super attentive. We brought our doggy and they sat us down on their lovely patio with beautiful views of the golf course and palm trees. And the FOOD! Delicious is an understatement. We had veggie omelette, California omelette and we loved the fact that we can substitute the toast with pancakes or biscuits and gravy. I got the blueberry pancakes and my husband got the biscuits and gravy, the pancakes were so fluffy and buttery! Of course we had to get a mimosa to top of such a lovely breakfast. Definitely a must-visit anytime you are in Palm Springs area. Can’t wait to return to try the lunch!

“We love this place and eat here a few times a week! Its close and convenient and always consistently good! There's a lot of meh cafes in the desert. Same stuff. Same sandwiches, salads, egg dishes, pretty boring fare but this place cranks out DELICIOUS food! And the people who work there are really attentive and NICE! BEST chicken Pozole around! Really good chilaquiles and pancakes! GREAT value!“

“This is long overdue, but I have enjoyed La Spiga for years. It is one of my favorite restaurants for celebrations and fine dining experiences. The patio is absolutely gorgeous, the entire team is so kind, welcoming and do an impeccable job elevating your dining experience. Their food is fantastic. My personal favorite is the white truffle pasta. I have gotten many of my friends and clients hooked on that pasta. The pork and shrimp spring rolls were also fantastic, but the real star was the dipping sauce. It was so good, we were tempted to drink it straight haha. The eggs were cooked just right, the bacon was crispy and flavorful, and the hash browns had that perfect golden crunch on the outside while staying soft inside.

The pancakes were fluffy, buttery, and easily some of the best I’ve had at a diner — they came out hot and fresh, the kind you can tell are made with care.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the most friendly service from Marilyn!!!

She made us feel right at home and taken care of the entire time.

The food was incredible! The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful.

I ordered Baja Street Tacos and they were absolutely delicious, with the chicken being my favorite.

My partner had the shredded chicken quesadilla and couldn’t stop raving about how good it was.

The flavors here are authentic, the ingredients are fresh, and you can truly taste the love and care in every dish.

The horchata was also perfection- smooth, sweet, and refreshing.

This spot is local, authentic, and a must-visit for anyone who loves Mexican food.

“This restaurant is truly special. Their Thanksgiving spread and service were incredible and we could easily see that they all work as a family not just co workers. They gave my Dad’s girlfriend a wonderful spread of birthday desserts, the whole restaurant sang to her and they even had football going for the Ravens fans next to us! The chef personally came to talk with us and I’d like to give a special shout out to Gina. One of the best servers I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I hope we make it back soon!“

They all have a positive attitude and are very pleasant to be around. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.“

“My girlfriends held a joint birthday party in the private karaoke room and had a blast! There were 16 of us. Once we figured out the system it was nonstop singing and dancing! The room was super cute. They let us bring in our own decorations, but we didn’t really need them. The owner hustled to take care of us! “Another consistent wonderful experience at this fine dining restaurant. Our attentive server Chris was incredible and anticipated our wants and needs before we could even ask. \nHe was also charming and had a great smile. \nOur four dinners were all perfect. The veal chop was thick, tender and delicious and Chris had suggested medium, another excellent suggestion. \nThe fish special was Swordfish and the delicious sauce couldn't be found after the small slices of crusty bread wiped up any remains. Third dinner was the pappardelle pasta with sausage and veal ragu. Nothing left on that plate either. \nBeing Vegan, I ordered the angel hair pasta with marinara sauce with a side order of roasted small vegetables I added to my pasta. \nWhen ordering this type of pasta I find there seems to be almost a pound meaning at least half goes home. \nHaving a birthday here is another gift in itself. \nThey serve Tiramisu that comes with a candle and is a large serving so that all 4 of us had 2 bites each. However there was a need for their Creme Brulee which also was devoured with 4 spoons.\nOnly con was the noise level which made it difficult to hear each other across the table. The restaurant was fully packed for a Monday night which only speaks of their excellent reputation. \nThis is where we come for a wonderful meal when in the Palm Desert/Ranch Mirage area on vacation.“

You've got to hand it to Las Casuelas Cafe, they've kept the music going in Palm Desert. And their serving sizes should be considered large. With a roomy climate controlled porch, it's never uncomfortable. Yup, it can get busy. But I've watched the staff handle hungry chaotic crowds perfectly. That takes experience and a staff that has worked together many years. This certainly must be a tribute to the owner of the restaurant; who really is committed not only to his restaurant, but the community that it serves. But honestly, It comes down to the guacamole, doesn't it? Las Casuelas Cafe has the best!“
