“Amazing dinner! The biscuits might have been the best thing we've eaten all year. All dishes were great though. We sat in the main dining area, which was more casual hotel vibe, whereas the lounge looked more like the darker restaurant vibe. Depends what you want. We'll definitely be back!“

The decor is amazing, the chef is a pro and everything is fresh and interesting with a ton of flavor. This is going to be the place to go in Palm Springs.“

Food is delicious, we loved the Branzino but the plant forward menu as a whole is perfectly curated. Gary and all the other staff are wonderful. Attentive but not overbearing, looked after us so well! Beautiful vibes - would absolutely return again.“

“We had a great experience with the food and service at Bar Cecil — both were top-notch. Unfortunately, we reserved an outdoor table in August and deeply regret it. While the covered patio has fans and some portable AC units, it's not fully enclosed, and in triple-digit heat it's just not comfortable for a full dinner. For a quick drink and appetizer it might work, but for multiple courses and rounds of drinks, it was tough to enjoy. The most frustrating part was seeing several indoor tables open up after the initial rush. I even overheard our server mention they often get summer cancellations but don't re-list them on OpenTable. I'd absolutely come back — just never outside in summer again. Indoors only!“

“The service, led by Kelly who is one-of-a-kind wonderful, is terrific. Rachel our server was also great. The ambiance is the best in Palm Springs! We are still talking about the octopus appetizer and mushroom entre. This is our favorite restaurant in PS and we dine out nearly every night.“

“Excellent menu. I had avocado toast and the balsamic dressing was mind blowing, sooo good. Friends had the salad with strawberries and nuts and loved it. Service was quick, but I think our server was unhappy that day, didn’t offer a ton of smiles or warm conversation. I will definitely go back. Fries were also delicious and crispy.“

“I have had lunch at this restaurant before, so I made a reservation to meet a dear friend whom I haven’t seen for a while. The pool and deck area is going through a renovation so we had to eat inside. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! It was perfect for a great conversation and catching up with my friend. I highly recommend this restaurant/bar nested in the Avalon boutique hotel and bungalows.“

“Lovely restaurant inside of a beautiful hotel. Upscale southwestern with a hint of California retro. Menu is pricey, but the food is good. Large portions and great presentation. Service is friendly and professional. I felt valued and welcome. Upon seating, you are presented with a smoothie aperitif shot. I downgraded a star for the flies in the restaurant. At this price point, I shouldn't have to shoo flies. Sorry, but that's annoying while I'm trying to eat. Other than that, I'd definitely come back. Especially to enjoy their absolutely gorgeous bar“

“I enjoyed a wonderful experience at Farm in Palm Springs for an early Mother's Day dinner. We had delightful three hour six course dinner in a magical setting with live music and delicious fare. PROS: The hostesses graciously greeted us and sat us a bit earlier than our reservation time. Had a nice table in one of the rooms with a fireplace and a large mirror. The saxophonist played and the sound poured in with great acoustics from the speakers. The amuse bouch had avocado, so I could not eat it, so my mom enjoyed all two. My dad could not eat solid foods due to mouth surgery. The bread course had warm fresh items and silky salty butter. The beet salad, melon salad, and corn soup provided earthy, tart, sweet, and creamy bites and tastes. The varied textures provided a kaleidescope of fresh tastes. The baked brie offered sweet and savory mixes of grilled bread, pear, and date spread! The lemon sorbet palate cleanser provided a balanced experience that did its job. The salmon entree provided an exquisitely pan fried crispy and juicy flaky fillet. The creamy dijon mustard sauce complimented the protein perfectly. The sweet peppers offered a wonderful crunch. The swiss chard added some bitter contrast to the garlic potatoes. The wonderfully bitter Citron crepe provided a nice end to a culinary cruise. Crystal took great photos in the garden. Gilbert was professional and affable. CONS: They asked me so many times for extra drinks. I had to prompt them multiple times to fill the water glasses and refills on tea and diet coke. They charged me full price for mashed potatoes, soup, and sorbet for my dad's meal. I get it. OVERALL: I highly recommend this restaurant for a magical evening meal inspired by Provence, France.“

Upon booking, I was led to believe, based on the descriptions and images presented on your website, that your course offered premium facilities and conditions. Regrettably, my experience did not meet these expectations. The condition of both the fairways and greens was notably poor and not reflective of the high standard promoted online. Additionally, the level of noise from constant overhead airplane traffic significantly detracted from the experience, further compounded by an exceedingly slow pace of play throughout the day. I have also noticed a number of overly positive reviews on your website and various social media platforms, which seem inconsistent with my experience and potentially misleading to other customers. This disparity raises concerns regarding the authenticity of those reviews and suggests a possible deceptive practice that I believe warrants further investigation. Given these issues, I feel that the quality of the course and the overall experience did not justify the prepayment of $166 per person. Therefore, I kindly request a full refund of the fees paid. “We have never been disappointed with our meals at Spencer's, and this visit was no exception! We had a fabulous table, loved the specials, and were thrilled to be served by our favorite—Michelle! The lobster gazpacho was divine, followed by a perfectly cooked white fish with asparagus. We ended on a sweet note with their delicious ice cream dessert. From the warm welcome at reception to the final bite of dessert, the entire experience was truly exceptional. Fantastic!!!“

“If you are staying at the Renaissance and don't want to walk to breakfast, this is the spot. They have a buffet which includes a made-yp-order omelette bar. They also have a menu to order off if you want pancakes or something else for breakfast. Located in the direction of the meeting rooms.“

“Selected this property for a short stay in the desert. I had seen mixed reviews since COVID but my personal experience was very positive. Received an incredibly warm welcome from Luke at the Front Desk. He could not have been more gracious and helpful. He even walked us to our room [#302]. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member I was very grateful that my suite upgrade request had cleared. The room was spacious and well laid out. There was a queen bed and a separate sofabed [no mention of this on the website though]. Two negatives included a lot of noise from the outside street [Indian Canyon Drive is a very busy road] also the bathroom really smelled whenever we took a shower.. the drains clearly need to be cleaned out. Everything else was great though...location is awesome...pools are really nice. One piece of advice...the cost of parking is not worth it...we parked on the surrounding streets. Recommend you do the same.“

The salads we ordered were great and a good size for a light entree. We also split an order of the wild mushroom Ravoli that was super rich, it might have been hard to finish as a meal, but splitting it was really nice. Prices were a little higher than I would have hoped, but I feel that way about all restaurants, so considering that it's in top of a mountain, it was what we expected.“
