“I had such a great experience here! The hotpot came in a beautifully designed pot that kept the broth bubbling and full of fresh vegetables, mushrooms, and bok choy. The beef was sliced perfectly thin, with great marbling for flavor, and the hand-pulled noodles were chewy and satisfying. Everything tasted fresh, clean, and high quality. The portion sizes were generous, and it felt like a balanced, hearty meal. On top of that, the presentation was gorgeous. The pot itself is a work of art. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for anyone craving comforting and authentic hotpot!“

“Went here last night with our family for a birthday. Reservation for 7 was ready when we arrived, and seated quickly. Nice intimate atmosphere. Wonderful, attentive service. We felt well looked after all night. The food was beautiful and delicious. In particular, the 14 year old said that the fried soft shell crab appetizer was the "best bite of my life." Our host made suggestions, and we let her surprise us with a few extras, all of which were fantastic. 10/10 on all counts.
We used to go to a little family place in New Haven, called "Jerry-san's" which our whole family loved and was our default for birthdays, New Year's, etc... As we were leaving one of the teenagers said "That's our new Jerry-San's," which is high praise, indeed.
Dietary restrictions: Menu is well labeled with options for GF, etc... on many dishes...“

“The owner John is absolutely wonderful! Not only do you get high quality food and drinks here but you get to be entertained by John the whole time. He takes time to come and talk with each table and make sure that you are enjoying the food. This is such a local gem of a restaurant and a must go when in Menlo park for sushi! The quality of the food speaks for itself!“

“This restaurant is big on flavor and service! So impressed with the food quality. We enjoyed chicken and corn dumplings, chicken wings with an incredibly delicious sauce, kimchi rice ball, coconut shrimp cooked to perfection and a melt in your mouth sesame cheesecake dessert. All of the sauces served were amazing. We ordered a bottle of Dassai 39 Junmai Daiginjo sake. The 39 was clear and smooth with a complex botanical nose. Delicious! After selecting our bottle of sake, the server presented a tray of glasses from which to choose your favorite. The staff served in a beautiful sake dispenser that cools the sake while not watering it down. The whole experience was top notch. If you are a sake lover you must experience this. If you’re not, you should try it. Best dinner experience ever and it wasn’t over priced.“

“One of my favorite noodle places!! So spicy and so many great greens and sides. My family comes here whenever we can because it’s such a hit. My first time eating here, I poured all the hot spicy sauce into my noodles and I don’t think I’ve ever eaten anything that spicy…“

“If you’re familiar with Pepper Lunch, this place is a smaller version of that chain restaurant. They offer a wider variety of appetizers and snacks, but you’ll need to mix the sauce yourself (it lacks flavor when they come). The place isn’t large, but it’s spacious enough for a group if you call ahead. The service was great and fast, and the food wasn’t bad. They have a selection of chicken, beef, salmon, and even ramen. Parking was also easy to find.“
“Delicious 8 veggie snowflake dumplings! Loved it!!! Thank you!“

“Second time here, very delicious and authentic Leshan Sichuan food. The service is great as well! We mistakenly ordered the same dishes twice, and the owner friendly gave us one for free.
I’ve added this restaurant as my favorite list the Bay Area ☺️“

“There are more and more Korean BBQ restaurants, and I think they are all the same. But here is easy to parking and easy to get the table .
The space is large and the meat quality is good.
Many Ayce's barbecue meats are of poor quality. If you want good quality beef and pork belly, this is one of the restaurants with affordable prices , good service .“

“The food is very good. We split the tea leave salad and it was very generous size. We also shared the branzino curry which was smaller in size and coconut rice and a bread plate. The servers were very pleasant. We will return. The table was a bit noisy because the other side of the partition was the kitchen. There were few people in the restaurant because we were having an early dinner. I would ask for a different table next time.“

“Food is super fast, just like Hong Kong. The Portuguese fish baked rice is really good. They call it Lisbon fish rice here. We also ordered ox tongue spaghetti, the sauce is just okay, it was supposed to be tomato sauce but it was more like a gravy. I've had better of this one.
If you're craving Hong Kong food, this is a decent choice. There aren't that many on the peninsula.
The service is so fast that they were literally taking the plate out from under me while I was still trying to finish the last bite. At least they didn't pull the spoon out of my hand 😂“

“JangTu Korean Restaurant is a hidden gem! It’s a small, cozy spot with a homey feel that makes you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. The staff is super friendly and attentive, creating a warm atmosphere that adds to the experience.
Their blood intestine dish is a standout—perfectly prepared and packed with flavor! If you're a fan of authentic Korean food, you’ll love it here.
The only thing to keep in mind is that it can get crowded, especially during peak times, but it's totally worth it for the food and the vibe. I’ll definitely be back!“
