“Busy place, but consistently great food. The staff is very hospitable, polite, friendly and efficient.

We live so many items on the menu, from bi bim bap to kalb ribs to chap jae noodles.

This has been around in Palo Alto for a long time and we hope it stays the same for many more years to come“

“I tried the BBQ chicken plate and really enjoyed it. The sauce was flavorful and just the right balance of sweet and savory, and the chicken itself was super tender. Underneath the chicken, they had some sautéed veggies, which added a nice touch. The macaroni salad on the side was also tasty and creamy. It’s nothing flashy or unique, just a classic BBQ chicken plate, but it’s done really well and hits the spot. Definitely one of those solid, go-to meals you can count on.“

“I have always loved the food from here. My all lifetime favorite is mushroom Swiss burger. They also have sweet potatoe fries. The burger is juicy and you are satisfied with one, but if you have room for a cornbread muffin or brownie go for it!! Thank you for remaining here. You need to come for your burger or bbq ribs !!“

The BBQ meal combos come with 2 sides, a slice of crispy grilled garlic butter baguette, pickled onions, slice jalapeno, and pickle.

Tried to phone in an order to save time because my puppy was in the car. They said

Wow, above and beyond customer service.
I sat outside at a table with Waffles, they brought him multiple bowls of water.
I interacted with 4 or 5 staff one nicer than the next, all happy the puppy was there.
In my long life I have never felt so welcomed in a restaurant.
The barbecue and sides, ALL proper.
Some nice fatty brisket, and ribs that we're great unsauced. And a variety of tasty sauces. Pickled things were perfect.
I'm a large person and their 2 meat plate is much more than I should eat, but I finished everything.
I live nowhere near Redwood City but I'm going there again.

“Dynasty BBQ has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The skewers are always tender and well-seasoned, and the cold noodles are especially refreshing and flavorful—I order them every time. “It was kinda slow as I was there a little past their rush but a great time to get good service. Sadly they close way way way too early for me which was quite disappointing as I personally feel there's so much more potential for late night revenue if they stayed open even after closing the kitchen. I basically had 3 different people serving me and would go back for any one of them. They were all super nice and attentive. Food and drinks were great and prices are favorable. It's not a cheap place to eat but for the type of establishment it is they're priced fairly and not overpriced like many places of the same class. I had a Hickory BBQ bacon cheeseburger myself which comes with a side of your choice. I asked for the meat to be cooked medium rare and medium rare is what i got. ❤️ The flavor? Mmh! Amazing! I'm looking very forward to my next trip there. They also have a full bar at that location. I know they're a family oriented business but I feel they'd also do well after family hours but maybe they're satisfied with what they got and aren't needing the money. I understand many establishments prefer to cater only to specific clientele and that's understandable but many would love to see them expand and would support it. ?? For now they close at 8:30 which seems to be a typical norm for that area so get there early and enjoy. ?

Vegetarian options: It's not a vegetarian establishment but there's salads etc with no meat and I believe a meat free burger choice

Parking: Parking can be somewhat limited if it gets busy especially since there are multiple business establishments that all share common parking areas. I happened to get there at a slower time and had no issue with close up parking. There's also a shopping center across the road that could be used if parking is scarce.

Kid-friendliness: It's definitely family oriented and have games there to confirm it. Might be a great place for birthday parties, etc.

Wheelchair accessibility: Most definitely ADA compliant with handicap accessible amenities.“

“A old school broiler with awesome people running the business. I had the French Burger, absolutely delicious. Will be back for another great meal. Also the bathrooms are so clean and nice smelling.“

“I have to say, I’ve had quite a journey when it comes to my opinion of this place.

The fact of the matter is that I have found the following to hold true:

1. Redwood City is far away from everything
2. The parking situation is abysmal
3. There is never a table ready when you get there
4. The food is expensive

For these reasons I used to avoid going there- not because of the food quality but it wasn’t worth going there in lieu all these things.

That being said, their meat is great, the vibes are great, and their service is great. Their beef kofta is sublime, and I have to say their falafel isn’t too bad either. They also have a pretty good frozen date juice that I enjoyed.

If you don’t mind the 4 things I listed (I am personally starting to care less and less about them in lieu of the amazing food), definitely go. This is probably the best Arab food I’ve had in the Bay Area.“

“It was my first time there. The food was good! Definitely recommend the corn muffin!! The atmosphere was nice and it wasn't too crowded for a Friday. The chef's behind the counter were super nice!!

The women's washroom could use some work tho. The guy in the office or register could have been a little more friendly too.

“Reservations are required for roast duck, and the duck rack is made into soup. The two large steamed buns stewed in an iron pot were extremely soft and the dough rose very well. We, a table of Shandongese, loved them. The meatballs taste better after absorbing the soup. The whole-fish pancakes also have the flavor of my hometown, and the fish soup is like the braised sauce made by my mother after adding bean paste. Braised pork is also my favorite. You need to scan the code on the table to order food, and the robot delivers the food, so there is no tip. I went there twice and I can feel that the owner and his wife are very nice. There was a lot left over after 5 people finished eating, and together with half of the roast duck that was not in the picture, it was 189.“

“Walked in not expecting much but was greeted lovingly by a sweet family running shop by themselves. They seemed delighted that we were eating In and the small homey setting really felt like they inviting us to sit at their table. The spam masubi was incredible, served fresh, with a sweet sauce, and a little touch of pork sung in there made all the difference. I got the wagyu beef with egg meal. It also came with that signature sauce and the meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. As we left, packing up the leftovers off the heaping plates of food, the father ran out to give us some extra sauce and make sure we didn’t leave without knowing how much we were appreciated. The incredible food and the family’s hospitality truly made it feel like I was eating a home cooked meal with my grandparents and I would love to come back and support them more!“

“If you’re familiar with Pepper Lunch, this place is a smaller version of that chain restaurant. They offer a wider variety of appetizers and snacks, but you’ll need to mix the sauce yourself (it lacks flavor when they come). The place isn’t large, but it’s spacious enough for a group if you call ahead. The service was great and fast, and the food wasn’t bad. They have a selection of chicken, beef, salmon, and even ramen. Parking was also easy to find.“

Currently, the food truck only operates in Foster City for delivery or pickup. When you order through their app, the robots will start making the meal about 6 to 8 minutes before it's ready to be delivered. This means your food is always hot and fresh! The portion sizes can easily feed two people. The best part is there are no service fees or delivery charges! The flavors of each dish were so good! The wagyu was my favorite ?. Each dish is served with rice, banchan and seaweed.

Sogongdong Tofu Town piles on the flavor and I never feel like I’m eating bland, Americanized Korean food. If this were LA, I might bump it down a star because the food scene there is so competitive. But many restaurants here can’t even deliver the basic flavors right, so I’m thrilled to discover this place conveniently tucked in an Hmart. The space is large and the meat quality is good.
Many Ayce's barbecue meats are of poor quality. If you want good quality beef and pork belly, this is one of the restaurants with affordable prices , good service .“

“Came in at 1:30pm on a friday, no problems with the free parking lot and immediately found a seat.

Food was great! Tried the original, soy garlic and spicy galbi fried chicken, also had a tteokbokki and onion rings. Everything was lovely.

Service was solid, you could order from a tablet and in general the staff were pleasant and friendly.

Atmosphere was good, generally upbeat kpop music but not too loud that a conversation won't be possible.“

“Indoor and outdoor dining. Great food, friendly service. Kimchee chige, bbq short ribs, ban chan and purple mixed grain rice was delicious. Plus the tofu is non GMO. 👍🏻“

“Semi self-service. (Raw) meat selection for the table & personalized soup base are brought to you; the remainder (veggies, tofu & seafood) come on the conveyor belt. You pick your own side-dish sauces (buffet style). All you can eat but limited to 90 min.

Meats were very fresh, as were the seafood, since we had an 11 am reservation (allowed for > 6 people; more on this below). Plentiful and speedy conveyor belt since we were the "1st shift" (get my drift?). I preferred shrimp & chicken (low fat), but was able to tear off the fat (yup, strip by strip if your diet tends in that direction) from the red meats. After a while, no one could tell what meats were on which plates! We thought the baby scallops were great: fresh and tender if you let it into the soup only for 15 seconds, yet they didn't toughen up if you left them in for a while. Shrimp: delicious & fresh, and you have a choice of shelled vs with the full metal jacket!

The variety of tofu was really good. The puffy rectangles were especially nice since they soaked up the soup and softened upon contact with moisture. There were sufficient greens to even things out. We saw a group of Buddhist monks in the queue, so you know it's possible to eat vegan here.

Some of the soup base selections were exceptional: tomato (so good!), mushrooms & Tonkatsu highly recommended (these all start with bone broth, I believe). Miso not so much (uninteresting). The soup gets more flavorful as the meal progresses, so it's better to get something not too intense.

We secured a reservation with 7 people, but personally, I wouldn't do this again. The seating for a big group still places the conveyor belt next to only 2 people, so now those closest to the belt must continuously serve the rest of the table. It's too much. Far better to break up the group into foursomes. However, I've heard that sometimes they stuff a lone customer onto a table for 3. How weird is that?

While the atmosphere is alright, the style of food service is such that it made for a feeding frenzy with no conversation (except to praise the food). If it's a visit you seek, this is not the experience you'd want. Or plan to visit another place afterwards.“

“Food and service was wonderful. What you see is what you get- they have the meats and vegetables labeled. All you have to do is pick up what you like and pour some of the delicious sauces ( which is labeled with their recommendations) and it is cooked right in front of you. It is a unique experience. Definitely a must for meat lovers. I also liked their ice-cream cone. Very flavorful and a delicious way to end the meal.“
