“Let me start off by saying that it is hard finding authentic soul food outside of the south. With that being said, my meal was hot and flavorful. I had the tri tip with Mac and cheese, greens, cornbread and a cucumber/onion salad with a side of Suela’s signature Hennessy sauce. Everything was delectable, well seasoned and I would definitely order again. The Mac and cheese is definitely grandma approved! I didn’t get any dessert but maybe next time I’ll try a pie or the cobbler. Suela’s soul food does not miss so give it a try!!“

“The flavor of the tacos is good, compared to other taquerias in this area, except that they are tacos with a single tortilla, and in general I like that they serve two tortillas. In general, customer service is not very friendly. They are only involved in their work and don't take the time to say hello or say thank you for the purchase.“

“We had such an incredibly positive experience with Social Paella. We ordered our catering with delivery and set-up for a party. The delivery was prompt and all supplies for set up were assembled quickly. The paellas were beautiful and delicious! We also thoroughly enjoyed the Tortillas which we had to accompany the meal. I cannot recommend Social Paella more highly and I will definitely use them again for future events!“

“I've lived in the. neighborhood and always knew Baked It Myself was here but because of work and just being plain forgetful, i never had the chance to try it until a few weeks ago. I've been there once a week since and i'll continue to be a regular. Some of the best food in the area for a great price. I've stuck to their sandwiches so far: hanger steak panini, brie prosciutto and pear and the fried chicken and fries special. all three HIT. and the delicious free cookie with them is icing on the cake.

it's a side street on van nuys, no frills cozy inside with outdoor seating that's actually on one of the nicer feeling streets in this area.

“I recently visited SunCafe Organic in Los Angeles for breakfast and ordered the French toast with cinnamon apples. The dish was delightful! The French toast was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside—and the cinnamon apples added a warm, comforting touch. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into the food here, and the quality was top-notch.

I arrived right when the cafe opened on a Saturday morning and was the only customer during the first hour. While this made for a quiet and peaceful experience, I was surprised that the service wasn’t more attentive given how slow it was. The server never checked on me after I received my food, which was a bit disappointing. A quick check-in to see if I needed anything would have elevated the experience.

That said, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the menu offers a wide variety of creative, organic options. I’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone seeking delicious plant-based dishes. With just a little improvement in service, this place could easily be a five-star experience!

A couple of helpful tips: Be sure to have Tupperware or containers on hand for leftovers, as Nana's Kitchen does not provide these. Also, you’ll need to supply your own plates, napkins, and utensils, which we were aware of in advance. With a little preparation, everything runs smoothly—and the food is more than worth it!“

“We booked El Churro Man for our wedding reception. They have a person making freshly fried churro & serving to our guests right outside the truck. Their churro were so light & crispy with plenty dipping sauce choices. Our guests raved over this late night treat. If you're looking to really surprise your guests on wedding or next event, we highly recommend this churro truck!“

“Awesome tortas, I'm a chilango and these tortas are legit. I came with a party of three and we ordered different tortas. My favorite was the torta chilanga. The order took a few minutes but everything came out fresh. The ingredients looked high quality. These tortas also have the good cheese (quesillo or queso Oaxaca) so that's a plus. The gentleman who took out orders did a great job of walking us through the different menu items and told us which were the most popular. I did ask for a more custom torta and he basically said, no problem we can do that. Aguas were good too. I live in scv but I will be coming out here to get these tasty tortas.“

“Had Nia and Jags Barbecue at the Studio city farmers market! Their bbq is just as good as the bbq joints in TEXAS! I am so glad they are around! If you want real Tx bbq definitely eat here“

“The service was VERY friendly. My server, and several others, greeted me with genuine smiles. Started with Warak Enab Dolma/Sarma (stuffed grape leaves), which were excellent. They are the non-vinegar type which I much prefer, firm with plenty of rich olive oil. Then the Sea Bass entrée. Two full filets traditionally seasoned, a large salad, and potatoes. The tomatoes are perfect! Beautiful tea service. Very quaint atmosphere, friendly staff with genuine smiles, everything well presented. Will definitely be back. FYI: Ample free parking on the roof, enter on Western Ave (Petco).“

So I went to eat at El Gallo Giro and then I went to get a coffee at Cafe My Familia. One or one and half hour later my car was tow. My tacos costed me $ 500.00. I'm not coming back for sure.“

“The pace looks truly grand once you pull into their driveway. They really know how to put on a show with the screen to welcome you to the particular event. The permanent red carpet is such a brilliant idea to glam up any event. However, when you are approaching this venue, the street looks a bit sketchy. But once you pull into the small street, you’ll see that it is in an enclave of Los Angeles.

The food is amazing, you will not be disappointed. The workers at this restaurant are always helpful when we need help to set up before our event begins. I have never been to a restaurant in LA that is so welcoming and friendly with their customers. I 10/10 recommend all of you to come and spend your special events here. “We have been working with Haute Chefs LA for at least 9 years!
Haute Chefs are always the first on my list when I have to cater a dinner or event.

Their prices are incredibly reasonable for everything you get, but lets be honest, we're here to talk about their food. Their food is always delicious and portions VERY generous. Their presentation is also something you can't forget about, we eat with our eyes first.

They have also become very conscientious of people's dietary needs over the years that I never have trouble finding gluten-free or vegan options on their menu for those with dietary restrictions.

I was going to list some of my personal favorites, but then the list got very long. However, you can't go wrong with their roasted cauliflower, steak & shrimp. Their charcuterie & cheese board is also very beautiful and delicious with the freshest in-season fruits. Their menu has something for everyone, and they are willing to take any other adjustment should you need them for one reason or another.

“I had been craving Efo Riro (vegetable soup), pounded yam, and Jollof for a while now and was told to try The Peppered Goat. I ordered Jollof and chicken and it did not disappoint!! That rice was so good and the chicken was cooked to perfection falling off the bone. I do like my rice a little spicier as I am accustomed to about 3 habaneros but it was still good! The man that greeted me was super nice as well. I can't wait to go back for the pounded yam and vegetable!“

“So happy to have tried Sugo! I only dipped my toes into the flavor pool ordering only the French Fries and the Meatballs and sauce! Having had an Italian Chef for a Father, I grew up being able to tell good Italian flavors from a simple dish like Meatballs and Sauce (gravy)! Both were excellent from Sugo!
