“Let me start off by saying that it is hard finding authentic soul food outside of the south. With that being said, my meal was hot and flavorful. I had the tri tip with Mac and cheese, greens, cornbread and a cucumber/onion salad with a side of Suela’s signature Hennessy sauce. Everything was delectable, well seasoned and I would definitely order again. The Mac and cheese is definitely grandma approved! I didn’t get any dessert but maybe next time I’ll try a pie or the cobbler. Suela’s soul food does not miss so give it a try!!“

“The flavor of the tacos is good, compared to other taquerias in this area, except that they are tacos with a single tortilla, and in general I like that they serve two tortillas. In general, customer service is not very friendly. They are only involved in their work and don't take the time to say hello or say thank you for the purchase.“

“Had Nia and Jags Barbecue at the Studio city farmers market! Their bbq is just as good as the bbq joints in TEXAS! I am so glad they are around! If you want real Tx bbq definitely eat here“

“I recently had an event and Social Paella catered it. They were very professional, timely, easy to work with. They arrived at my event with a team of people, the food presentation was beautiful and they kept to the schedule perfectly and as planned. Days later, my guests are still talking about how delicious the food was. The tapas appetizers were all amazing, and the paella was probably one of the best I have ever had (even the ones we have eaten in Spain). I would hire them for every event if I could. I highly, highly recommend them.“

“We secured Distinctive Catering services to provide hors d’oeuvres and a full buffet dinner for our daughter’s engagement party a week ago. The party was outdoors at a ranch, so serving was outdoors and at night! I’m delighted to say Troy and Ray did a fabulous job! The food was beautiful, abundant,

“The pace looks truly grand once you pull into their driveway. They really know how to put on a show with the screen to welcome you to the particular event. The permanent red carpet is such a brilliant idea to glam up any event. However, when you are approaching this venue, the street looks a bit sketchy. But once you pull into the small street, you’ll see that it is in an enclave of Los Angeles.

“The service was VERY friendly. My server, and several others, greeted me with genuine smiles. Started with Warak Enab Dolma/Sarma (stuffed grape leaves), which were excellent. They are the non-vinegar type which I much prefer, firm with plenty of rich olive oil. Then the Sea Bass entrée. Two full filets traditionally seasoned, a large salad, and potatoes. The tomatoes are perfect! Beautiful tea service. Very quaint atmosphere, friendly staff with genuine smiles, everything well presented. Will definitely be back. FYI: Ample free parking on the roof, enter on Western Ave (Petco).“

“This review is to show that tahini was added to our uber eats delivery order when we said no to tahini (spoke with the person on the phone and was told that upload pictures for proof. uber eats told me to speak to the restaurant directly). My gf loves your food but she is severely allergic to tahini. And I always specify no tahini but you guys sometime put tahini (happened again). She wont eat so we need to throw it away“

The venue was very accommodating and the staff made sure that we, our bridal party, and all the guests were taken care of at every moment. “We booked El Churro Man for our wedding reception. They have a person making freshly fried churro & serving to our guests right outside the truck. Their churro were so light & crispy with plenty dipping sauce choices. Our guests raved over this late night treat. “We have been working with Haute Chefs LA for at least 9 years!
Haute Chefs are always the first on my list when I have to cater a dinner or event.

Their prices are incredibly reasonable for everything you get, but lets be honest, we're here to talk about their food. Their food is always delicious and portions VERY generous. Their presentation is also something you can't forget about, we eat with our eyes first.

They have also become very conscientious of people's dietary needs over the years that I never have trouble finding gluten-free or vegan options on their menu for those with dietary restrictions.

I was going to list some of my personal favorites, but then the list got very long. However, you can't go wrong with their roasted cauliflower, steak & shrimp. Their charcuterie & cheese board is also very beautiful and delicious with the freshest in-season fruits. Their menu has something for everyone, and they are willing to take any other adjustment should you need them for one reason or another.

Definitely worth having them cater your next event/dinner, etc.“

“I love Dave’s! He has lots of great things to buy! He sells at the Redondo beach farmers market and hermosa beach farmers market. I am kind of upset because first of all, they don’t take card at all locations. And second of all, his prices are too much. $7.00 for a small container? I mean, maybe like $5. But I still do recommend to people who have never tried Dave’s before!“

“I hired Betty and crew to help cater an open house at my business. They came early, set up, and did everything on their own. The food was really good, and visually very impressive for my guests. “Food is great! Even though in LA there are a lot of luxury hibachi restaurants, even high end omakase, but in terms of cost-effectiveness, this restaurant is phenomenal. This restaurant cost you little but delivers high-end Omakase level service and awesome food. The key part is the hibachi scallops and fillet mignon, nice flavor and juicy, a real gem!“

“Jeff catered my wedding and I could not ask for a better caterer. The first thing I loved about Mr. Ardi's was the menu. It's comprehensive. You can pretty much get anything you want, and he'll still have some surprises! I actually didn't get much of an opportunity to enjoy the food itself, being the groom, but it was all delicious. “This is my favorite late night snack. I get the carne asada tacos with avocado salsa on the side. The best carne asada tacos!! The flavor is delicious. They are consistent so it’s always delicious. I put my friend on and now she’s hooked. I legit crave this truck!

Parking: Parking is fair

Kid-friendliness: It’s a taco truck so you can take your kids however it is on a public street so always be safe and hold tight to your babies. There are street sleepers around.“
