“Let me start off by saying that it is hard finding authentic soul food outside of the south. With that being said, my meal was hot and flavorful. I had the tri tip with Mac and cheese, greens, cornbread and a cucumber/onion salad with a side of Suela’s signature Hennessy sauce. Everything was delectable, well seasoned and I would definitely order again. The Mac and cheese is definitely grandma approved! The company was wonderful, creating a warm, communal atmosphere that felt both welcoming and memorable. And the food was absolutely outstanding. The flavors and spices were rich and perfectly balanced, with the honey bean couscous, bread, and jollof standing out as unforgettable highlights. They were incredibly accommodating of my dietary restrictions, as well.

“The pace looks truly grand once you pull into their driveway. They really know how to put on a show with the screen to welcome you to the particular event. The permanent red carpet is such a brilliant idea to glam up any event. However, when you are approaching this venue, the street looks a bit sketchy. But once you pull into the small street, you’ll see that it is in an enclave of Los Angeles.

“The service was VERY friendly. My server, and several others, greeted me with genuine smiles. Started with Warak Enab Dolma/Sarma (stuffed grape leaves), which were excellent. They are the non-vinegar type which I much prefer, firm with plenty of rich olive oil. Then the Sea Bass entrée. Two full filets traditionally seasoned, a large salad, and potatoes. The tomatoes are perfect! Beautiful tea service. Very quaint atmosphere, friendly staff with genuine smiles, everything well presented. Will definitely be back. FYI: Ample free parking on the roof, enter on Western Ave (Petco).“

“The flavor of the tacos is good, compared to other taquerias in this area, except that they are tacos with a single tortilla, and in general I like that they serve two tortillas. In general, customer service is not very friendly. They are only involved in their work and don't take the time to say hello or say thank you for the purchase.“

“We have been working with Haute Chefs LA for at least 9 years!
Haute Chefs are always the first on my list when I have to cater a dinner or event.

Their prices are incredibly reasonable for everything you get, but lets be honest, we're here to talk about their food. Their food is always delicious and portions VERY generous. Their presentation is also something you can't forget about, we eat with our eyes first.

They have also become very conscientious of people's dietary needs over the years that I never have trouble finding gluten-free or vegan options on their menu for those with dietary restrictions.

I was going to list some of my personal favorites, but then the list got very long. However, you can't go wrong with their roasted cauliflower, steak & shrimp. Their charcuterie & cheese board is also very beautiful and delicious with the freshest in-season fruits. Their menu has something for everyone, and they are willing to take any other adjustment should you need them for one reason or another.

Definitely worth having them cater your next event/dinner, etc.“

“My wedding was about two months ago at Hummingbird Nest Ranch, and David and his team were beyond incredible! From our very first meeting, he was welcoming and attentive. The food tasting was such a lovely experience, and he thoughtfully applied every single note we shared.

The ingredients were fresh, the service was top-notch, and his staff was both professional and friendly. Beyond catering, David truly cared for the entire flow of the venue—his experience in the wedding industry really shined, especially since many of my other vendors were beginners.

During the reception, he was constantly walking around, checking in, and making sure every table was taken care of. That level of attention gave me so much peace of mind on such an important day.

“I love Dave’s! He has lots of great things to buy! He sells at the Redondo beach farmers market and hermosa beach farmers market. I am kind of upset because first of all, they don’t take card at all locations. And second of all, his prices are too much. $7.00 for a small container? I mean, maybe like $5. “The Churro Man makes gourmet churros. We get ours at this truck which is super clean and the service is so great. The prices are fair and you will find a place to park. It is not open late so check their website for their latest hours.

All the churros are freshly made and served hot. I am told their dough is prepared every morning and it sure is fresh.

We have never done this but will for my grandson's next Birthday party. They will cater for you, truck and all. Their state-of-the-art churro press allows them to cater to large corporate or other events where they can serve up to 200 churros an hour.

Churro Man was the first approved churro truck by the health dept. in the state of California . Ideal for any occasion.

A churro, if you don't know is traditionally enjoyed in Mexico. It is a simple and yummy thin pastry. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, churros can be eaten plain or sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar do that.

They also have great dipping sauces including: Cajeta, Chocolate, Lechera, Nutella, and Strawberry. Additionally, churros can be enjoyed with coffee, ice cream, or hot chocolate.

All the churros are are vegan and contain no nuts or preservatives.
