“I stopped by this corner cafe on a whim and ordered an almond milk latte – it was smooth, rich, and exactly what I needed. While I was enjoying my drink near the window, a squirrel on the exterior ledge caught my eye. This little guy seemed oddly interested in my coffee break and kept peering in like we were old friends catching up. It made for a good laugh and somehow added to the charm of the place. Great coffee, friendly staff, and a surprise squirrel encounter – I’ll definitely be back.“

“I was craving a donut one day and when I found this place I was not disappointed! They had tasty gluten free donuts and I got a iced strawberry matcha drink that was delicious as well. The space has an inviting atmosphere and the staff is very helpful and friendly as well.“

“I came to the cafe an hour before closing, usually baristas will have a unwelcoming attitude but they welcomed me with the warmest embrace, especially the curly haired girl who complimented my glasses haha. “Lots of seating, great atmosphere, everyone was nice and the water station they have set up is much appreciated. The portions are just right, so you won't leave hungry. Love the coffee options. Very family friendly. We had a party of 10 and they did a fabulous job putting out the food, great staff. Unfortunately, the parking situation is bad. We drove around for about 25 minutes to find a place to park. Absolutely worth it though!

“Republik Coffee is as solid as it gets. It has good food, good coffee, and a good ambiance, which makes it a great hang out spot.The breakfast burrito, an almond danish, and a hazelnut cappuccino. It's not a large breakfast burrito, but I felt like all off the ingredients were good quality. The danish was good,and the cappuccino was solid as well.“

The cinnamon roll is so freaking glorious. You must think who the heck is paying $9 for a cinnamon roll. This cheapo foodie will be going forward. With one bite, you will realize Wake & Bake's cinnamon roll isn't ordinary but it's a croissant cinnamon roll. It is layers of buttery goodness and perfectly sweet. This is something you hoard to yourself because you want it all. It's already a swirl of goodness of butter, sugar and cinnamon but add in that croissant factor, ahhhh the dream.

As I was describing my new love for the cinnamon roll croissant, Naomi the branch manager added to our conversation how all the ingredients are high quality and how long it took their team to perfect their new croissant. I was impressed. It's $9 and yeah $9 of PERFECTION.“

“Running into Majano’s Coffee at my son’s school event felt like a little gift from the universe. His lavender latte is hands-down the best I’ve had—smooth, fragrant, and calming in all the right ways.

I didn’t expect him to remember me (I’m usually the one dashing in between meetings), but he did. That small kindness made my day. Now that my mornings are freer, I look forward to making Majano’s a more regular stop after school drop-off.

I discovered Jones in the early 2000’s during business trips to Pasadena. Through the years it became a must have visit, even during family trips. Leading the way is Rafael. He’s calm and welcoming and his presence is felt every where. In fact, during a 2021 visit he spotted my family and me, came over to greet us, and fondly recalled my children who he hadn’t seen in close to 8 years. It’s that type of personal attention , and good product, that has kept me coming back. Enjoy!“

“This is our favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. Not just because it’s great coffee but because the people are just so kind and welcoming here they welcome my dog and I with open arms and it’s spacious enough to fit us as well and he’s really well behaved it works out and even though I have to walk a few extra steps away from our home to come here, it’s like coming home to family with coffee that is great and flavors that are distinct And different!“

“Got the strawberry sunshine summer special Yerba mate and a tomato and mozzarella empanada. Perfect pick me up in the morning. The mate was refreshing, delicious, and not too sweet (which you can’t say about the yellow cans you can buy around). “I simply did not like the seating in this Starbucks. I wanted to sit inside, but all they had inside were stools. I do not sit well on stools so I had to go outside where the high's were going to be in the 90's. I went to another Starbucks instead which had chairs and tables inside.“

The coffee and tea is always delicious and temperature appropriate. The flavors are very complimentary. I really love the pumpkin loaf. Just recently Starbucks had an offer of buying three or four teas and you could get more stars. Of course I went for it I bought lots of medicine balls aka honey citrus mint tea everyday. Got my stars 🤩“
