“Delicious and creative plant-based food combining great flavor with heart. I love the spicy Buffalo Chicken sandwich, the black bean taquitos, the Avalon burger with arugula and vegan Gouda cheese (!), and the avocado taco! Want to try everything on the menu! 5-stars for flavor, creativity, service, and location! Love Ziggy’s!!“

“A most wonderful experience. The food was unforgettable!“
“So happy I visited this vineyard after tasting their wine. Heidi gave one of the most informative wine tours I've ever had. So much helpful information about their overall farming practices rooted in their rich history establishing Rhône wines in California. They produce so many top notch wine varieties.“
“Caliza Wine in Paso Robles is a nice spot to check out! We enjoyed a pleasant tasting experience with good service and a friendly owner who made us feel welcome. Although we missed their burgers and wine event since we had already eaten, the lively atmosphere added to our enjoyment. Each wine we sampled was enjoyable, reflecting the quality and effort that Caliza puts into their craft. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by for a tasting!“
“The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming —they didn’t just recite tasting notes but understood the craft. What really set the visit to Alta Colina apart was that the owner was hands-on, pouring wines and chatting with guests. This winery is everything I love about small, boutique producers.“
“Awesome place with friendly and knowledgeable staff!“
“Absolutely one of the standouts of our annual holiday visit to California. We were members of Zenaida (now Pius) 10yrs ago and we loved the face lift, sophistication, and most notably Victoria who was inviting, knowledgeable and attentive. The wines are some of the best we have had on the central coast and it was apparent Pius is building a unique brand with buttery Chardonnay’s, balanced Roses and world class Cab Savs. We look forward to seeing you next year.“
“This place is amazing from the wine to the staff to the views. Such a friendly laid back place. Can't say enough about Croad my favorite winery“
“An umami pairing experience with LXV Wine and Bakersfield’s Noodle Bar. LXV owners and the chef from Noodle Bar matched the wines and meals perfectly👌🏼Pairings with LXV Wine is a must do experience!“
“Great staff and atmosphere! The wines were incredible. Especially the Zinfandel! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! 🥳🥳“
“We flew into Halter Ranch on a Thursday, ate a delicious lunch, did some wine tasting, bought several bottles, and stayed in a Pilots Cottage overnight. What a wonderful experience! The menu was lovely and our choices were tasty. The cottage was immaculate and comfy and we enjoyed the hot tub under the stars when we got back from dinner. We called a car to take us into Paso Robles for dinner because the winery restaurant doesn‘t offer dinner seating. The runway is VERY narrow and there is obstacle clearance on short final so I‘d recommend it to experienced pilots only, but it‘s nicely paved and tie-downs were easy. But WOW, what a lovely experience!“

“We usually share our reviews on Tock or Cellarpass, but we wanted to note here how special Torrin is if you’re ever visiting the Paso area. We are always impressed by both the winemaker and his work, which is why we joined the club. We are big fans of Lagom, but we equally enjoy Banshee and Akasha. Aly is also one of the main reasons we look forward to each visit—she is truly a treasure. The wines speak for themselves, but it’s the welcoming and personable people at Torrin who truly win us over.“
“Just got back from a fantastic weekend in Paso Robles. The highlight was a visit to the Steinbeck Winery. The ride on Willy the jeep, the incredible staff, the delicious wine, the beautiful grounds, the relaxing, unrushed charm of this family owned winery makes it a true gem. Thank you Cindy and family for such a memorable experience. We will see you again!“
“Our experience was absolutely delightful! The staff was remarkably attentive and genuinely friendly, setting a fantastic tone. We loved the live music and found the beautiful atmosphere incredibly uplifting. The refreshing wine we selected perfectly complemented the whole ambiance. Highly recommend!“

“What an incredible dinner. Every course had so much flavor and depth. From the beautiful custom pottery they use to the custom silverware. Not a detail is overlooked. We have been to some Michelin star restaurants before and left not satisfied. Six Test Kitchen is the absolute opposite of that. A delight for all the senses. I can’t recommend enough. Our friend V Carroll told us we had to go and she was right! Thanks for the wonderful night“

“Friendly staff, a pup to greet you and reasonably priced for a flight. I’m a sweet cider fan and all they have is dry but the slushy (watermelon flavor) was fantastic! I’d personally like smaller tastes and more to taste than bigger tastes with fewer to select. More like 6-2 ounce than 4-3 ounce. Just my personal preference!“
“Awesome location, beers, food and staff!“

“Nice, small, quaint winery. All the wines were great. We especially loved the Zinfandel! There was a problem with our order and they made it right quickly! I suggest if you’re in the area, stop in and enjoy the wine. Buy a bottle, or a case!“

“Goshi is a requirement on every visit to the Paso area.
A wide variety of options, specialties, and quality ingredients all at an excellent price.
The “Salmon around the World” is a MUST and some of the best miso soup I’ve had.“
“Awesome tasting room and some great products!“
“11.16.25. What an exceptional winery experience. The staff were knowledgeable, welcoming, and clearly passionate about their craft. The wine cave tour was fascinating and beautifully presented, and the wines themselves were truly outstanding. We’re delighted to have joined and look forward to enjoying many years of remarkable wines from this first-class winery. Bravo!“
“Great wines and wonderful people. We had a gathering of 20 here this week and were served with such warmth, knowledge and fun. The owners shared the history of the property. We had WONDERFUL red wines and yummy pizza. I would strongly recommend making the journey to Dubost!“
“I rode my motorcycle from Cincinnati, Ohio to the west coast of California looking for exhilaration. By pure chance or maybe fate, I crossed the mountainous range from PCH and was drawn into this oasis on the roadside that seemingly just appeared. I can’t express how fortunate I am to have made that stop at Lone Madrone. The atmosphere and setting was serene, the people were the finest of any, and the food provided a top off of experience. I recommend this place rather you intend to eat, taste wine, or spectate. However, the real treat is the people who work here. I don’t know how they got this amazing set of individuals. They were so hospitable and interested in my story, as I was interested in their incredible stories as well. To Amber, I anxiously await that getaway for you and would love to hear all about it. To Hana, not to be confused with Hannah, I love your name. I love your story. I love you. What an inspiration you are and the journey you’ve had. We both have our own horsepower lol. Thank you for sharing a piece of you with me. It was a light of beautiful hope and I will forever cherish it.“

“My favorite breakfast place great service, great food, I had been been going here for years, now when I come into town to see my girls, I take them here for our daddy/ daughter date, it’s our special thing to do“
“My 21-year-old daughter and I visited this winery yesterday and it was very welcoming. I feel so bad I can't remember the name of our host but she was so informative. I have been in Paso before for winetasting and never have I learned so much. She gave us a very interesting and entertaining history lesson and taught us so much about wine. She taught me things I never knew about wine even though I have been an avid wine drinker for several years. My 21 year old couldn't stop talking about how much she enjoyed the conversation, she was so impressed and thoroughly entertained. We ended up buying 2 bottles of the Late Harvest Zinfadel. We really enjoyed the wine and the sculptures but the experience would not have been half as successful if we wouldn't have had that particular host! Love the fact that it's a family business.“

“This is our first Winery Tour ever, and Austin Hope was the first winery of our day, so we didn't really know what to expect. Upon arrival, were warmly greeted with a glass of white wine, then escorted to a corner cabana with the backdrop of the vineyard! At first, I was a bit hesitant seating outside because it was March and this year has been unusually cold, but the hostess assured me that they had heat lamps and blankets. Sure enough, with the beautiful flame heat lamp and the soft warm blanket, we were comfortable and cozy, and settled into a wonderful experience. I forgot who was our server, but she was very knowledgeable about the wines, and also personable and caring. She make sure that we were comfortable, and our young daughter had sparkling water in her wine glass so she could (kind of) participate with us. I highly recommend their Charcuterie tray, which has a great assortment of wine, meats and nuts. I love how our server explained the wine at each pour, then leave us ample time to enjoy the glass and talk. She also brought us handwarmers to keep our hands warm. There were so many small caring touches that truly made our first winery tasting experience so wonderful. I'm not much of a wine person, but I ended up loving their wine too. After our tasting at Austin Hope, the other wineries just couldn't compare. Thank you very much for a first winery experience that I will never forget. I will definitely be back!“

“Oh my!!! I didn’t think places like this existed in paso! The food was so good! Get the MONKEY BALLS!!
The owner i believe she was or manager was walking around making sure everyone was taken care of, the table clearers come by every few minutes checking to see if there’s any plates or trash they can clear from your table. Not crazy about the seating but heck! The food made me forget I was a foot away from strangers eating 😂 I think I’ll sit at the bar next time. It was a wonderful place with great food!“
“If you're a wine enthusiast looking for something truly special, Diablo Paso is a must-try. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you! Be sure to ask for Deb when you visit the tasting room. She’s incredibly friendly and can provide expert guidance on the wine selection.“
“Went back to Glunz for the third or fourth time this weekend on a family trip to see friends in Paso. We’ve been to many wineries in Paso and elsewhere and this is by far my favorite. We never miss it on a trip up there. But this time, we met the winemaker - he was so knowledgeable, fun, and super kind! The wine is delicious, the grounds are beautiful, and the kids had fun too. Love this place!“
“Great view, lots of wine options, and great staff. Thank you Cassie for answering our questions, and making our wine tasting experience fun!“

“What a delicious local gem! A stroll through a wheelchair accessible rose garden leads to my favorite Paso Robles breakfast spot!
The corned beef hash was delicious and lightly crispy but the pancakes were a yummy homemade buttermilk with a naturally buttery taste that barely needed syrup!!
There are strict outdoor patio rules for pets but they ARE pet friendly! This is a must try in my opinion but not suited best for large parties unless booked in advance.“

“Wife and I went there on 8/14. The power was out, however, Bob was very accommodating and very pleasant to talk to. He set us up with a couple of glasses of wine conversation. Good place, good wine, good customer service. We will be going back.“
“Just had an amazing experience at Eberle. Kirk, our tasting guide, possessed a wealth of knowledge about the vineyard and its history. He could not have been more entertaining, informative, and just generous with his time and tasting! Thoroughly enjoyed all the wines- all the reds have elegance and depth- but are less in your face than some California reds, but so smooth, lovely and enjoyable. We will be back!! In the day and age when everywhere is reservations only and super pricey, Eberle is a breath of fresh air- with years of quality to back up their stellar reputation.“
“We were in Paso for a week of wine tasting. Our final visit was the vineyard tour and tasting. It was the capstone event of the week. Everything was fantastic. We didn't know that it was a private tour, so it was extra special for our 25th wedding anniversary. The vineyard is stunningly beautiful and we got to taste ripe grapes of different varieties right off the vine!
Paula was our host, not only is she a great advocate for ONX wines, which are fantastic, but she knows a LOT about wine in general. Unlike many of our hosts in the 10-tastings we did over the week, she balanced the story of the vineyard and company with information about the wines. Too many times over the week were we overloaded with the history of the vineyard, which to us is secondary to the quality and story of the wines.
Hey ONX, whatever you are paying Paula, give her a raise!“
“I definitely recommend Vina Robles as a stop for any trip in Paso Robles. We came during the holiday weekend after Christmas with our two dogs. The staff was kind, our wine specialist was very knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is lovely with small chill livingroom like spots. There was a DJ when we came, doing an excellent job of weaving together requests that added to the experience. We had a wonderful time!“
“Extremely friendly staff and knowledgeable on wine intricacies. We sat outside and enjoyed the sunlight, bunnies on the lawn and horses in the barn across the yard. Did a wine tasting and enjoyed the Tanning Bomb the most. Would return with friends.“
“My spouse and I visited Calcareous in mid-March for a Cabernet tasting that was out of this world. We tasted a variety of wines from different vintages that were all outstanding. Each was beautifully made and are a great value for their price point. Our host, Nate, explained the wine characteristics, production details, and winery history. He expertly answered endless questions about the local wine community and other wine trivia. The whole experience was just great.“

“Levo Wine in Tin City is an absolute gem. We stopped in shortly before closing with our son, and the hospitality couldn’t have been better. They were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like family, even though it was only our second tasting room visit ever.
Bret, the winemaker, is a great guy. We instantly connected over his ties to Eagle, Idaho (where my parents live), which made the experience even more special. Huge shoutout to Lexi as well. She was an awesome host on both visits and was extremely friendly and accommodating.
Bret’s wines were outstanding across the board. We especially loved the 2024 El Paso de Robles White, the 2021 Fasten Your Seatbelt Syrah (absolutely incredible), and the 2022 Willow Creek District red blend. Thoughtful, balanced, and beautifully made.
The space is clean, modern, and vibrant, and their creative marketing really stands out across social, their website, merch, and overall brand presence. We enjoyed it so much that we joined the wine club on the spot and are excited to have Levo in our regular rotation as we move from SLO to Atascadero.
Highly recommend! Fantastic wine, great people, and a 10/10 experience.“
