“I usually go for the short ribs (which are phenomenal), but I thought I’d try the grilled garlic shrimp for a slightly healthier option. Unfortunately, like the other review said, it’s pretty nasty. They were pretty light and fluffy, too! I'd recommend it! You can't go wrong with Loco Moco. I couldn't quite decide what to eat so I went with a dish, I already know I'll like. They have different options of protein that you can choose from, too! My Dad said the Kalua Pork omlette was very filling. It was actually jammed pack with Kalua Pork. My daughter likes egg and cheese, so that was a win for her. I highly recommend this spot, especially if you're looking for that good hawaiian meal. Keep in mind, their hours of operation is only from 6:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. There's a good amount of seating area inside, but it does get busy. The earlier, the better. This is unlike any other poke place I've had since you order via the robot and they make your food in the back. Other spots is like Chipotle style. That being said, the 'small' portion was pretty hefty but also a bit on the pricey side. Good quality fish though.“

Parking here isn't too much of a headache, there's plenty of spots right in front. And you know it, I came here for one thing and one thing only. POKE! I must say if you like spicy you have to try their ALWAYS SPICY. That is definitely my go to order. “A spot right on the corner in uptown Whittier. My husband and I were walking down the street and didn't know what to eat. Whittier is home away from home. We used to live nearby and take in all our favourite foods. We happen to be in the area and see all the updated shops and restaurants. We decided to try something new and We were so glad we did. Teriyaki Bistro was so welcoming when we walked in. We chose our option of plate/bowl and our toppings. I thought the toppings were a fun little treat. We waited less than 10 min for our food and ate downstairs. The restaurant was clean and had everything you needed. The restroom is located inside that needs a key. Don't worry you can't lose the key... It's attached to a metal serving spoon ?Save some room for dessert. They have ice cream sandwiches.“

“My go to poki spot in DTLA. Fairly priced and not skimpy with the protein the workers know what they're doing! I switch between the poki bowls and the wrap - both are great honestly. There are so many options and compared to spots like sweet fin this is just so much fresher and better in my opinion. It's located inside the grocery store which is nice because sometimes I grab a wrap and do my grocery shopping. You can also take it to go and sit at the tables outside. Super good, a must go.“

“This is a hidden gem! The food is fresh to order. I've only tried the pupusas revueltas and tacos de carne asada. It's a small location but definitely worth a try. It's an interesting combination of different foods. The cooks are really sweet and the gentleman at the register is friendly. There are only about 6 tables with 4 chairs each, but if it's only you and your date it's perfect. The decor is a lot of Salvadoran art and some plates with Salvadoran currency. It's cute for a date to chat and have some good food.“

“First visit and Poke experience and I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderfully fresh and satisfying the Poke Bowl at Poki Bomb was. I had no clue, honestly, what I was building as I filled out their order form--but, upon presentation it was beautiful and full of fresh ingredients. Chef was very helpful in helping my dining partner pick out a spicy sauce that would suit his choices, while mine had a normal level of heat and just the right mixture of spicy mayo and dressing for the salad. From the edamame and corn to the fresh mix of salad greens it was all my favorite parts of a delicious sushi meal heaped in a gorgeous dinner salad. Considering the rising costs of fast food, sometimes it's worth a few more dollars to treat yourself to a healthy meal that doesn't leave you feeling ashamed for splurging. In fact, I would have licked the bowl out had there been anything left--but, even with chopsticks I was able to devour every last bit of brown rice. If I were you, I would choose dine-in and enjoy the atmosphere so as to give them time to prepare your personalized meal. My wife and I decided to swing by a little after 12:30 pm on a Saturday. The place had a new layout but still the area. Their fish is fresh and doesn't have any fishy smell that's noticeable if the fish becomes old. Serving sizes are generous on all fish and mixings.
