“I love Raising Cane's chicken. It is always perfectly. I love their that that comes with it. I just wish there was a Cane's closer to Echo Park. I have to drive all the way to Pico Rivera to get it but any time I am anywhere near there, I always stop by.

Parking: At Pico Rivera I have never had any trouble parking. There are always lots of spots available and lots of handicapped spots available too.“

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was impeccable. The roasted oysters were so good that I even ordered a second helping.🥳🥳“

“After our Altadena house burned down, we relocated to Barker Block and absolutely love being so close to Manuela. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“

“Myself,& two dear friends,(ex coworkers), had lunch there today. Not only was the food absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS! Everything we had was very appealing to the eyes 👀. We each hsd the opportunity to taste three different dishes.Wet Burrito, Avo Burger,& fries, & I think it was the loco moco bowl. Plus Beignets. We are definitely returning soon to enjoy more delicious & delightful dishes!“

“I am a major foodie always on the hunt for the best hidden gem in LA and this place it’s truly so special. The best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to hands down run by the kindest all family staff. So much love in this food it is sensational. The summer squash and corn, Chilaquiles, enchiladas, horchatas and Flan are sooooo good. All of these dishes were the best versions I’ve ever had. Couldn’t recommend more.“

“This is a really neat historic spot, a craftsman home bulit in the 1800's in S. Pasadena repurposed into a restaurant. The vibe is cozy and welcoming. It's like your meeting with friends at someone's home but with professional service, where everyone can just relax and enjoy each other's company. My first visit was with a few girlfriends years ago for their happy hour which runs m-f, from 4-6pm. Since then I've come back for their brunch, and recently dinner. All visits have been memorable and exceptional all around.
They are known for their craft cocktails. My friend had to drink called Latina Medicina and substituted vodka for tequila. It was a citrusy, refreshing drink, beautifuly presented with a large square ice cube, which apparently takes 3 days to make. My husband had the Alien Pool Party cocktail, also refreshing and very fun! We had a lot of laughs with that one. So if you've never been here and are looking for something different, then I recommend you give him a try.“

“Outstanding experience dining here. Our server was incredible, super knowledgeable, confident, and clearly not their first rodeo with gluten-free dining. They knew every single dish inside and out, proactively pointed out shared fryer cross-contamination details, and clearly walked us through which items were fully gluten-free outside of regular soy sauce (super helpful for anyone with different tolerance levels). Finding a spot where the front-of-house understands dietary nuances that well without making it feel like a hassle is rare. Fantastic food, top-tier service, and total peace of mind. “I stopped by Lazy Dog on the second day of my LA business trip while I was in between checking out of my hotel and waiting for our Airbnb to be ready. It ended up being a really nice place to relax and enjoy a good meal.

I tried the Bacon Candy, which was probably the most memorable item. The bacon was sweet, slightly spicy, and nicely caramelized from the brown sugar. I had never really had bacon served this way before, so I thought it was very creative and surprisingly addictive.

I also ordered the Chuckwagon Flat Iron Steak, and it was excellent. The steak was flavorful and nicely grilled, and the smoked chili butter and crispy onion straws made it even better.

There’s also a Lazy Dog near where I live, so this wasn’t my first time dining with them. What impressed me was how consistent the quality was. Even while traveling, the food and overall experience were just as good as what I’m used to back home.

Lazy Dog has always been very consistent for me, and this visit was another good example of that. Comfortable atmosphere, good service, and really solid food. I would definitely come back again.“

“DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE! I had lunch here last week and I was thrown at how good the pork belly skewers and honey salmon bowl truly is. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is plenty of space and TVs to catch a game so you don’t have to be shoulder to shoulder during a big game.

More games and tables going to the back of the building. Restroom located in the middle(heading towards the back) Clean dining areas. Real Awesome Bartenders! Great beer/liquor/spirits/wine variety. The Manager, Mateo, and staff are always helpful, return calls, help walk the boxes of food to the car, food is always cooked and finished on time, and staff members do it all with a smile. They have beautiful outdoor and indoor seating and when I went it was not busy so it was nice to enjoy the outdoor seating. They sell pretty much everything from masa for tamales, sopes, tortilla chips, corn n flour tortillas plus much more. We bought flour Tortillas and Masa for sopes ??? can't wait to try them. There was no waistline and we parked on the street. Not sure if the parking inside is for customers or just the workers.“
