“We had the most wonderful experience at Spice Kitchen in Placerville! My husband ordered the Chicken Curry and I had the Lamb Korma — and both dishes were made to absolute perfection. The flavors were rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced. I love my food spicy, and the Lamb Korma was perfectly seasoned for me — full of warmth and depth — yet mild enough that my husband enjoyed every bite as well. That’s not an easy balance to strike! What truly makes this place special is the charming, quirky setup. The outdoor seating area is connected to a convenience store that offers local wines and an excellent selection of craft beers — such a fun and unexpected touch. The patio itself is incredibly inviting, complete with chandeliers and a rolling water fountain. It’s one of those places you simply have to see to appreciate. Even better, the convenience store clerk doubled as an excellent, classy waiter. The service was attentive, warm, and professional — completely unexpected in the best possible way. To top it off, the chef came out personally to greet us, and we were able to thank him ourselves for such an outstanding meal. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. The reason we originally stopped in was because I’m scouting a fourth pit-stop location for my Mustang Car Club poker run in June. After this visit, I can confidently say — if they’ll have us — we will absolutely be stopping here. Great food, unique atmosphere, and a memorable experience all around. Highly recommend!“
