“Yes, Wholefoods is a bit expensive for certain items but it has so much choice and also has a lot of reasonable priced items! We wanted some food to go and had the vegan grilled vegetable sandwich and vegan smoky tempeh TTLA sandwich - these were both delicious! My favourite was the first and my boyfriend preferred the tempeh one! They also have vegan pizza to go if you're in the mood. “Angelini Osteria totally lived up to the hype! We had a great dinner there that night and I can't wait to go back again soon. Let's start with the star of this show: uni pasta. Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. The food is incredible, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes on the menu!“

The staff handled the mistake very professionally and apologized immediately. They quickly brought us the correct order, and the service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive. Mistakes can happen, but the way they resolved the situation was excellent.“

The other half was something else they recommended... doesn't matter, it was fluffy, delicious and got SPANKED too. Even though they only served pork meat, I still give them a 10/10“

“Danny Boys pizza is top tier. The toppings are fresh, the crust is crispy and the salads are delicious. We split a few slices including the meatball ricotta and the vodka sauce special which was excellent. We also split the chopped italian salad which was super fresh and had a great variety of toppings.

“Pizza was excellent! Crunchy crust. Very generous with the toppings, unlike some places. It's pretty much a takeout place, While there is seating, it's pretty much an afterthought. If they want to encourage dining there, they could certainly make the dining room more inviting with some simple, inexpensive upgrades. (Like loose the XMAS decorations and Santas. It's almost March, replace the burned-out light bulbs in the chandeliers, red-checked tablecloths on the tables, don't store supplies in the dining room or where visible from it. Some type of partition around the order counter would help).“

“As an LA native who worked in pizzerias for 5 years and has made trips to NY and Brooklyn for pizza, I can say Petramale Pizza is some of the best NY-style I’ve had on the West Side. The crust is perfectly thin, the cheese is high quality and well-balanced, and the sauce has a rich tang. The service is also a standout. The owner greets everyone like a lifelong friend, and they’re generous, often handing out drinks or sides while you wait. What they’re doing for the community is impressive.

On a return visit, I tried their recommended Margarita with pepperoni (the “Margaroni”), and it wasn’t for me. They go very heavy on the parmesan and bake it with parm and basil already on, which threw off the balance of the pie. I'd highly recommend they switch to adding the parmesan on afterwards, and using fresh parmesan if they aren't already.

That said, I’d still highly recommend coming here. Stick with their more traditional pies and you’ll get an excellent NY-style experience.“

“Delicious square focaccia style type pizza, light, perfectly crispy pizza bottom, and great flavor. I order a the pepperoni pizza and the pizza slice with crab with sweet chile sauce (bomb) definitely recommend. It’s a small spot so not very much seating space but still cozy and the customer service was great. Because it was small they encouraged us to move some of the table around so our party could sit together which was nice. Chill, good pizza, friendly customer service, and reasonably priced.“
