“We had a great meal at this bistro. Our server was super attentive, allowed us to take our time and was very friendly. Food was delicious, California classics with a twist. Will definitely return.”
“Great food, nice staff and Chianti says it all! Oh they have pizza yet you should not hold the image of pizzeria / pizza parlor that leans to the slice o’pie on the east coast. This is nice dining!”
“delicious food! I got the spanakopita & braised short ribs. 🥰🥰🥰”
“If you’re looking for a pizza place with a large variety, this it is! Not only do they have your traditional pizzas on the menu, but they have a great selection of Indian-fusion Pizzas as well! To top it off, they’ve got a ton of craft beers on tap, and they’re constantly bringing in new ones! Terrific atmosphere!”

“Delicious pho in a relaxed setting. Broth was rich with a deep flavor. This is where you should go for a special occasion. Loads of beef in the pho, along with very fresh ingredients. There were quite a few varieties of beef pho on the menu, from single beef vaieties all the way to loaded varieties that carried ingredients like tripe. I strongly recommend this restaurant.”
“This place was absolutely amazing! It's freezing here in the Trivalley and so I wanted something to warm me up and this hot the spot. I ordered the oiled pork with garlic sauce for an appetizer and the braised beef noodle soup for my main course. The food was top tier, especially the soup which came with tender beef and handmade noodles in a savoury rich broth which had loads of flavor. I will definitely be a regular there from now and and can't wait to try the rest of their menu. I highly recommend this place.”
“Had a wonderful time and delicious salads with just right portions and friendly service”

“Owner RANI opened Café ChaiAum in the former Subway location to share her passion for a love of baking. The renovations took months to complete, but the results are charming and comforting. Relaxing music plays in the background, tables are gorgeous handcrafted wood slabs, and the vibe is genuine.
At the center of it all is the star performer, a delectable, piping hot chai, poured from a huge, shiny silver tea pots—the biggest I’ve ever seen! The chai is made with love, organic milk and spices from Nepal, which directly supports farmers there.
As I was leaving, Rani graciously refilled my cup and generously offered me a sweet Diwali treat. On the menu are also homemade pastries (both savoy and sweet) and all looked delicious. Come by and support your local small business owner, drink delicious tea and be part of a lovely community.”

“Great find for dessert. We had their Dubai chocolate crepes, and they were made from scratch to order and absolutely delicious. The only problem was that they were so big that I wish we had gotten only one for two people. Staff was super friendly also.”
“Food was decent, place was clean, restroom was clean. I had the Western BBQ burger. It was pretty tasty , crinkle fries are always a win in my book . The Mac n cheese bites were quite nice too. I would definitely come again and try another one of their burgers.”
“One of Pleasanton’s finest restaurant for sure. Why - exotic Guyanese fusion cuisine that should please every palate. Very attentive service and a full bar. What else can you ask for? And yes, the nicest chef cum owner - Maurice and his son are real delightful people.”
“Great atmosphere, serving staff is friendly and on point with ensuring you have what you desire and the food was phenomenal. I had the lamb chops with mint jelly and sautéed spinach. Lamb chop cooked perfectly that it melt in your mouth with tons of flavor. My raspberry lemon drop was a bit on the strong side but when I made mention they remedied it by adding a little more simple syrup … perfect.”

Ashoka Indian Restaurant in Pleasanton, California, serves really delicious food. The dishes were very tasty and fresh. The staff was very polite and provided excellent service. I really enjoyed my meal here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Indian food!”
“We ordered from Urban Momos and it turned out to be an excellent choice for Indo-Chinese cuisine. The dishes had the perfect balance of spices — flavorful without being overpowering. The quality of ingredients was impressive, and the portions were generous.
Definitely a reliable go-to place for satisfying Indo-Chinese cravings. Highly recommended!”
“Love their eggs Benedict and pork chops. Staff is always so nice. Great French fries!”
“Wonderful wine and service- very friendly. They have a refrigerated snack area you can purchase food from. I’d definitely come back - they have a great outdoor sitting area. Their petite Syrah was great!”

“Best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The nicest servers ever. It’s the only thing I miss about moving away from Pleasanton. House Special Beef, Black Bean Fish and Barbecue Pork appetizer are not to miss!”
“We always enjoy the sitting outside people watching and getting excellent service and food. My wife inevitably gets one of the specials- and loves the seasonal change in the menus.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Tried Blossom for dinner. It’s very good and similar to several other Asian vegan restaurants around the Bay Area. They have a mix of different cuisines including Chinese, Vietnamese, and Thai. Not bad at all, but not unique enough to warrant 5 stars Updated from previous review on 2026-01-27”
“Their signature Mr Sun Green Tea brought me in here. It is green tea mixed with a 0.0 Heineken. Interesting combo that works very well together. I liked it, and I would recommend giving it a try atleast once.
I was sad that there was no popcorn chicken available that day, but I’ll just have to come back another time.
Drinks came out quick, and you can order one of the touch screens.”
“Delicious and definitely fulfilled our sushi craving. I highly recommend Pocket Sushi no chopsticks required easy to eat, full of flavor, and so pretty to look at. I stopped by after work to pick up a few different types of pockets, the service was great and the food was fresh and made quickly. I waited no more then ten minutes for them to make my six item order and they brought it out to my car which was also very nice. We will for sure be back for more!”

“I'm deeply grateful to Inklings' leadership for cancelling your partnership with The Global Leadership Network and Global Leadership Summit, in light of this organisation's ongoing choice to publicly honour their unrepentant sexual predator founder, Bill Hybels, rather than publicly, unambiguously naming and condemning his decades of sexual harassment and sexual assault. I see you standing up with and for those who have been harmed by religious predators, exactly like Jesus did. Thank you so much.”

“My wife and I have been dining at Gold Chopsticks for years and we love it. They have an extensive menu and I love trying all the amazing dishes. You could easily get hooked on their Pot Stickers with their homemade sauce, Wor Won Ton Soup, Sweet & Sour Prawns, Combination Fried Rice, Broccoli Beef, etc. And I really don't know how anybody can beat their Black Pepper Beef Sizzling Platter, it is awesome on so many levels!!!”
“Definitely will go back. We enjoyed my husband's birthday dinner. Great food, fast service and best customer service!”

“I went in to try a new drink matcha coconut water. I know it sounds gross. AND IT WAS lol ! But I hopped on the hype train and definitely came right off. Oh well! I went to order something else and he Ethan (I think that’s his name) said it’s okay the drink is on the house. I told him many times it’s okay I’ll pay. And he didn’t want to let me pay. He told me I should pay for something I like. Also that many people came in to try that drink and said it’s not good lol. I appreciate his honesty, and his kindness. He didn’t have to do that and that’s why I love coming here all the time ! They are always soo soo kind!”
“I ordered ahead and I got the stuffed pepperoni and mushroom. Very quick and easy process to order online. The pizza was amazing as usual. Better than any pizza in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. The service was quick, friendly and courteous. It's been a long time and I don't think the prices have changed much.”
“This is the best Wetzel pretzels I’ve ever been to. I can definitely say the customer service was A1. Definitely something to come back for and try again. The pizza bites were so juicy and soft and melted right in my mouth with the cream, warm tease and wall refreshing to wash it down with a nice frosted blue raspberry lemonade”
“Vic’s All Star has it all for the whole family: your vegan cousin, your picky kids who only eat pancakes and bacon, your friend who’s a bottomless pit for humongous omelets. Want something lighter? Check out their healthier options. Craving a Mediterranean wrap? They’ve got it. In the mood for a classic brunch? Go for it— they have delicious, traditional dishes that hit the spot. This is the kind of place you keep coming back to because the food is SO good you’ll want to try everything on the menu. The chilaquiles omelet was incredible—no canned salsas or beans here, folks. Everything tastes homemade and authentic. The quality is high, and the ingredients are fresh; you can tell this isn’t some plastic-wrapped plate heated up in a microwave. Their potatoes make an amazing side, especially with the breakfast dishes. And the best part? It’s the kind of restaurant where you’re greeted with a warm smile and instantly feel at ease and welcome. Highly recommend—such a great place!”
“Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at a fancy restaurant with a specialty in guacamole and waffles, and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm welcome and the ambiance was simply stunning. The décor was elegant and sophisticated, with soft lighting and comfortable seating. The atmosphere was perfect for a special night out.As for the food, the guacamole was hands down the highlight of the meal. It was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice and zest. The restaurant takes great pride in sourcing only the finest ingredients, which is evident in the taste of the guacamole. I also appreciated the variety of options for toppings and dipping sauces, which made for a unique and personalized experience. The waffles were another standout item on the menu. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the toppings were creative and delicious. Whether you prefer sweet or savory, there was something for everyone. I particularly loved the waffle with fresh berries and whipped cream. The service at this restaurant was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly, and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The attention to detail, from the presentation of the food to the impeccable table setting, was a true testament to the high standards of the restaurant. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this fancy restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Whether you're a fan of guacamole and waffles or not, the combination of flavors and the quality of the food will leave you in awe. The atmosphere and service are top-notch, making it the perfect destination for a special occasion or a night out. Overall, this restaurant exceeded all of my expectations and I can't wait to return!
Vegetarian options: As a vegan, I often struggle to find restaurants that cater to my dietary needs, but this place exceeded my expectations. The menu had a variety of dishes that were clearly labeled as vegan, making it easy for me to choose what to order. I was able to try several dishes, including a flavorful roasted vegetable bowl and a delicious plant-based burger, both of which were fresh and beautifully presented.
Dietary restrictions: Milk is a crucial ingredient in the making of waffles, a popular breakfast food around the world. It provides the necessary moisture for the batter to mix evenly and achieve the desired texture. The type of milk used in the recipe can greatly impact the taste, texture, and overall quality of the waffles. The most commonly used milk in waffle recipes is cow’s milk. Cow’s milk is rich in protein and calcium, and it provides the waffles with a creamy texture and a mild flavor. Whole milk is often used as it provides a higher fat content, making the waffles tender and fluffy. Buttermilk is another popular option for making waffles. Buttermilk has a tangy flavor that gives the waffles a unique taste, and its acidity reacts with the baking soda in the batter to produce a light and fluffy texture. For those who prefer plant-based alternatives, there are several options available. Almond milk, soy milk, and oat milk are popular alternatives that can be used in waffle recipes. These plant-based milks can provide a lighter flavor and texture, making them ideal for those who prefer a healthier option. Additionally, they are a great alternative for those with lactose intolerance or a dairy allergy. The amount of milk used in the recipe can also play a role in the final outcome of the waffles. Too much milk can make the batter too thin, resulting in waffles that are dense and heavy. On the other hand, not enough milk can make the batter too thick, resulting in waffles that are dry and crunchy. Finding the right balance of milk is essential for making perfect waffles.

“Even with all the sushi places opening up in the Tri-Valley Kaki Sushi is still the best. High quality, great service and fair prices. A must visit if you're from here or in the area.”

“The beef broth ramen is absolutely delicious and highly recommended! We also enjoyed the sushi, especially the yellowtail roll. While they don't have a specific kids' menu, we easily created a great meal for our child by ordering a mix-and-match of side noodles and grilled shrimp.
Lastly, the green tea ice cream was so good!”

“I and my husband took our sons, grandson, sister and brother-in-law to dinner, waiters were pleasant and helpful and the food just so delicious. A member in our group is a retired chef and said it was the best Chinese dinner he had had for a long time. Just clean Chinese cooking done the way it should be, We all agreed. Thank you for making the end of 2023 a delightful experience.”

“So impressed with this bakery. First, I called on a Sunday and they called me back! Was able to order for a birthday a day earlier than they normally do, The chocolate cream pie and banana cream pie were a hit! The pastry melts in your mouth. Pies were delicious! And I saw some more good things behind the counter. Highly recommend!”
“It is a working person pho place with loud people, quiet workers who ignore you until you wave for attention as they zoom by to drop off food to other people and race back to get other dishes served fresh and piping hot. Your table will be sticky, so just ask for more napkins to wipe it down.
So, eat anything and everything as cheaper than those other fancy places who serve less for more $.
I suggest the beef roll, so good and so much beef. Recommended to me by mechanics working for all of the car dealerships nearby.
Huge parking lot of ignored ranch 99 and plaza. Lots of tables fir about 48 people, so a quick, come in, wave, order, wait, eat and burn mouth, pay at cashier, leave = 20 minutes total, and want to come back.”
“I'm not sure whether or not the woman working at the cash register in the front was an owner or just an employee, but she was super friendly and had the best attitude. She had a smile on her face the hole time and really tried to sell the combos an suggest other items on the mention that would go great with ur meal, but wasn't pushy or forceful about it in anyway, & she even suggested how i could save money by ordering it a certain way an things like that. Overall an A+ experience n would recommend this Little Ceasars Pizza to any & everyone that's looking for a great take out/Delivery pizza that are on a tight budget.”
“I ordered Pozole to-go (Tue Nov 12, 2024). It was delicious!! However, too spicy for me. It comes with diced onions, chopped radishes and shredded lettuce. I wish they would switch out the lettuce for cabbage as the lettuce wilts in the hot soup. I had Pozole from here last year, it was not spicy. Overall I recommend the Pozole if you like it spicy.
Parking: There is a raised step as you enter, be careful. Nice self serve salsa bar!”
“A little shop in the stripe serving skinless moist chicken over rice. Comes with sauce and soup for take out. The chicken is not gamey which is big plus for me. Healthy choice. It’s refreshing over fried/oily food. I only wish they gave a little more veggie and sauce or ask if we’d like some sauce over the rice. I found the sauce not enough for my chicken and rice but still delicious. Would def return when around the area.”
“Go big or go home kinda deal! Come for the breakfast of royalty or a smashgrab hamburger made to order in this setting of homestyle cooking from the real MVP. I love pie, cherry peach and apple preferably anytime of the year you'll find yourself head over heels infatuated with this home slice of heaven, did I mention the milkshakes???”
“It’s very rare I leave a review for a bar. If ever. But this one is well deserved.
I was staying up the street and had a long couple days, so wanted a chill place to have a drink.
I stumbled upon a fantastic local watering hole, where you can tell the same folks come here, and for good reason. Good ambience, a few bar games, a digital jukebox, reasonable drink prices… but the service is where this place really hooked me.
(Forgive the spelling) Saren was my bartender and made me feel at home. As a career bartender, I can be somewhat hyper-critical of service from a fellow tender. She not only takes the time to talk to you individually, but immediately turns on the fast-paced service when the bar inevitably picks up when the place across the street lets out from an event.
I recommend this bar to anyone whether a group or individuals. There’s enough to do, people to talk to, and the service is second to none. I’ll be sure to book my next stay in the Bay close to here on purpose moving forward.”
“Very good food. We ate it up. Reasonable prices we can still afford. We shared a super burrito. They were kind enough to cut it and s serve it on two plates for us. We didn’t have to ask. Very courteous and pleasant. The chicken burrito had a lot of flavor. We’re going back for enchiladas and tacos next. Wonderful location, close to old Main St with all the shops Merry loves to see.”

“Their recent all you can eat with price of $29.99 is unbeatable deal! As a born and raised in Sichuan Chinese, I enjoyed their very authentic spicy pot very very much! There are many other flavors to choose from and so many varieties of sauces to add to your taste bud! Service is excellent! Food is fresh. I plan to go there at least once a month to satisfy my gravy craving for very authentic Chinese hot pot. On top of that, they also have authentic Sichuan dishes to enjoy!”

“Came by at 11:10am on a Sunday and was 14th in line, we were seated by 12:30 which wasn’t too long at all. Service was really amazing, Viet was very tentative to our table and made sure we got all our dishes right away. He even helped by showing us how to cook certain meats and get us some extra chubby sriracha. Would come back again soon!”
“Brought the family for a delicious lunch today. The service was super fast! Plenty of clean tables and even a soft couch. We ordered the chicken quesadilla. It was perfectly grilled and tasted great. We had a personal cheese pizza. That definitely didn’t last that long. It was the perfect size. I had the all beef bagel dog for the first time in my life. It was nice for the cold day that we had today! And finally the beef and cheese piroshki was also my first time in my life. It was similar to a burger but completely sealed with the bread covering the inside ingredients. Only two drinks for us. Oldschool lemonade and a mango smoothie. No leftovers here. Walked out full and happy! I want to thank the cashier Imelda. Come drop by and check out this cute little coffee shop!”
“I go here afterschool with friends often and the owner is always so welcoming and accomodating. Once, I got a fruit tea with jelly and they forgot to add it, but afterwards the owner added a double scoop for me! I usually get the strawberry matcha latte because I really like their puree. The other drinks are nice too, they have a student discount for many items. Environment is always clean and quiet, studying here is good too!”
“I love these people! I’ve been coming over a ton during winter break, and the drinks are always good and the people are always kind. Today, I was working and the shift lead (I need to learn his name), gave me a free iced latte (my exact order)! This place is definitely a great space to work and take a breather when you need it!”
“We had our first lunch buffet here and really enjoyed the experience. The place is nice and beautifully set up, and we were seated immediately. They had a good variety of dishes, and the food was tasty overall. It did feel like there were more vegetarian options, but the spread was still well balanced and enjoyable. We’d definitely consider coming back again.”
“Excellent food. Decided to try based on a friend's recommendation and was not disappointed. Not knowing what to get from the pages of menu, the host was spot on with recommendations that was delish --> Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani, Mutton Ghee Roast Biryani, Chicken 555. Meghana Chicken Biryani, Vegetable Kadhai. Note that they offer $10 biryanis for take out on Sunday's. Portion is slightly less than regular but not too concerning.”
