Restaurant is always clean and service is always on point. Staff member Olga is always very welcoming and helpful. Never hesitates to recommend something new. When picking up orders she always confirms everything is in the bag, and always offers condiments.“

“I will not name names because I don't remember them but if one specific lady who might be a little larger is serving she takes a lot longer than everyone else and she over explains everything. She also acts as if she's never seen me before and probably does the same thing to others I've been there when they've looked at me like what is she doing. I go at least once to three times a week so I guess I'm a regular but she acts as if I'm new every single time. She tries hard but maybe it's just difficult for her. He seems nice he just needs to get quicker. It is fast food even though it's good fast food.“

“First time here. The ingredients were fresh, though I'd appreciate some corn on the cob instead of just baby corn. Some tongs or ladles would be good for getting certain items from the pot. Potatoes and lotus need more cooking time than sterno flame can provide. Other than that the service was excellent and I love the coziness of the interior. However, hot pot for me should always have corn on the cob!“

“Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.“

“Excellent service and food! Our family are regulars there and we joined them for lunch and had a delicious meal. Shout out to Abel and the entire lunch crew. You all were wonderful especially with our large group (including babies). The ramen, various sushi rolls, tempera, asparagus appetizer, miso soups and rice were all excellent and full of flavor! Highly recommend! Excited to go back. Oh and would love to see a vegetarian broth option for the ramen if ever possible! That would be an awesome addition. Thanks again!“

“Food was amazing! Tried the chefs combo(turns out the chef I had was also the owner) to which every piece of sushi had a good portion of their choice on top. Miso soup was good and tried their double salmon roll special. Very flavorful and good portion on the inside and out. Place inside is small but doesnt feel cramped, servers and chef are hospitable and ambiance is calm. Great for a date or even just to relax. Definitely returning!

“Kiku sushi restaurant is honestly amazing the service is the best I’ve ever had and the people there are so sweet. I love going there and the price is perfect definitely try the garlic butter salmon if you love onions it’s amazing along with their baked scallops. I never write reviews for anything but this place deserves the highest rating. You must try them out!!“

“It couldve been because I was early, dining in and the broth didn't develop a bitter after taste from over cooking, but it's been awhile since I've had good ramen. The champion ramen had a good mixture of wet and dry flavors. Chashu + seaweed had a subtle fish dry taste vibe which is new. Noodles were chewy and not clumpy mouth feel. Broth and ground pork were rich but not overly. Overall taste + texture was superb and especially warming during the winter. Also the waiter Rick is such a homeboy and service is amazing.

Last time I liked having ramen was when I was running around in an orange jumper. Hope the guys and gals stay in business.“

“Stumbled upon this place and decided to come in for some dinner. We ordered two drinks and a curry rice one with the toro beef, the other pork cutlet. “I started going to this Waba Grill pretty recently when passing through the area, and I gotta say, it's my favorite one to go to! By far the cleanest one, my food is served quickly with the correct portions, and all in all I could tell people work efficiently around here. The last few times I went, I was served by Jaime and Alex; I've had different vibes from different workers across different locations, but I feel I get the best vibes when coming here and when I've been served by these two! 5/5 would recommend pulling up if you're in the area.“

“This was our first time going and it happened to be their 1 year anniversary. It was full but we were able to get a table by the time our food was ready. Tables were cleaned immediately. Behind the counter seemed a bit of a mess in a view for the customers which was a little off putting. But the food did not disappoint. Huge portions. Meaty! Flavorful! The Mac salad was perfect. The shrimp was breaded nicely and Flavorful. Will be returning.“

“Went there for breakfast on Saturday early (8:30) to beat the rush. Only waited 20 minutes. Had belly to belly, creme brulee french toast. avocado toast, and two orders of the berry cloud pancakes. For drinks we had classic coffee, Pandan latte, Spanish latte, and Cookie? latte. Both drinks and food were great. Only complaint is that we order the 2nd pancake a few minutes late and it didn't arrive till most of us were finished. Be warned .. get your orders in for the cloud pancakes early. It will take 20-30 minutes to arrive.“

“This location has a special place for me, as it was my favorite spot years ago when it was a different establishment. After a fire, I honestly never expected to see it come back. Last year, I discovered that it had been rebuilt as 88Q and decided to give it a shot.

I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food is top notch, and the service is friendly, efficient, and fast. Everyone smiles and truly makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in.

The first time I tried their Pho with flank and brisket. It was good, but I always prefer something that hits a little bit more.
Second time I decided to try the one with charbroiled beef and it was a game changer. I ordered it two days in a row cause it's absolutely delicious. The beef is very well marinated and tasted lightly sweet and smoky, I love to eat it even by itself.
I'll be coming back for sure.“

“Wow! We came here to check out the ramen wall but ended up getting some bowls off the main menu instead. Tried the beef bowl and the wing bowl with spicy noodle and lemon pepper wings -- the rice was perfectly cooked and the meats and noodles where incredible. The servings are very generous as well, we both left stuffed.

The wait wasn't too bad considering everything was cooked fresh but apparently there's an order ahead option if you don't want to wait as long. They were playing good music and the noise level was such that we could hear each other but didn't feel like everyone was listening to our conversation.“
