I was on my way to my friend son's 1st birthday party when my two tier cake collapsed midway (the weather was sooo hot and I was driving fromRiverside to Sherman Oaks)!! I was desperate to just find a plain cake and looked for a nearby cake shop and found this place. The three ladies that was in the store was so nice and made the cake for me IN 30 MINUTES!!! I did not expect them to make such a beautiful cake with such time, how much more if this is not rushed!!! They did such an amazing job with matching the cake with the theme and saved the day for me!! “Late review but I have to rave all about the cakes and desserts here. I ordered a custom cake for my baby shower (chocolate with raspberry jam) and omg, definitely one of the top 3 best cakes I've ever had in my entire life. The custom decorations were adorable but the flavor and texture of the cake was just exquisite. I also ordered 6 dozen mini cupcakes and however many cake pops and everything was just super high quality and delicious. Asian level of sweetness which is less sweet than typical American level of sweetness. Perfection. They packaged up my order very thoughtfully as well. They don't have a store front but you order via calling the number and Cynthia (I assume is the owner?) will call or text you back. Super easy ordering process and she's great about timely communication. Very very sweet ladies. I'm all for supporting great local companies and will be ordering more desserts for the next event!!“
“Tried three pastries to go. All of them were huge, pleasantly flaky and tasty. I especially liked the bear claw, which seemed to be actual size for a grizzly bear. The pastries were attractively arranged. It was hard to decide which ones to purchase, they all looked so good.“
“Getting ice cream is always a treat and this location is consistently good, in my opinion. They usually have a good variety of new flavors, as well as the classic "go-to"s. I tried the Oreo N Cold Brew this time and it was tasty- coffee ice cream with a LOT of Oreo cookie mixed in. It was just sweet enough and the coffee taste seemed stronger than the usual coffee. The service is great here and it was pretty busy for a Thursday night. Could be because of the heat, but I think it's also that this Baskin Robbins is a good one and the neighborhood knows it. :)“
