“Omg, what an amazing and super unique dining experience! If you haven't been to Port Costa in the East Bay and are game for a little off the traditional radar adventure, Bull Valley Roadhouse is such a fun alternative to anything but the ordinary. We chose to sit outdoors because the weather was so beautiful, highly recommend! There's a beautiful cocktail/mocktail/beer/wine menu, and they also do special Sunday drinks & brunch from 11a-3p. As for the dinner menu, our party chose to really go all out in honor of a few celebrations we had! We started with the deviled eggs, beef croquettes, fresh bread and honey butter, the Gentleman's relish toast, mac & cheese, and for the grand finale...we chose the largest beef shank I've ever seen served with broccolini and risotto. Everything was shared, and the shank was a $160 plate but split between our whole group, it was not only of epic proportions and extremely photo worthy, but was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and fun. Finishing with a chocolate caramel cookie, scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream, and topped with chocolate whipped cream (so yum!), I literally was in pure culinary heaven. From the XO chili sauce on the deviled eggs (I asked for an extra side of this sauce to use for the rest of the meal), the crispiness of the croquettes and tenderness of the meat inside, the perfect runny egg atop the Gentlemen's toast, the most deliciously sweet honey butter, to the fall off the bone shank, perfectly salted risotto, broccolini crunch, and of course the creamy Mac n cheese (let it sit for a few minutes to harden)...honestly everything was so divine! From the attentive & friendly service to historical funky ambiance, this is just a spot you have to experience for yourself..can't wait to come back to try brunch on a beautiful day! Def worth the extra splurge for a bit of the weekend spontaneous urge..“
“What used to be a Mexican restaurant called “Judy’s Place’ in town to the locals couple years back now is called ‘Crockett Cocina’. This place and food is outstanding. I was browsing yelp and saw this on my radar. I had to check it out in person to see based on their ratings. I arrived here with my dad for an early dinner date. Street parking is available. Though the space is small, the place is clean. They provide indoor and outdoor seating. This is a family owned restaurant from the looks and how they act around their customers. I give my props to the chefs, they sure know how to cook it up haha! The pasta was filling and the bread that came with it was soft & crispy. The HouseMade Cioppino with the bread to dip in was to die for lol. And the churros was quite a lot but homemade makes it special! Churros we’re soft and crunchy, came with chocolate & caramel syrup, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream. Overall, the food was great, I’m sure I’ll be back for another visit!“
“Super generous sandwiches, high quality ingredients, very informal atmosphere. For what it is, a small sandwich bar, this place is great! I got the Italian one trip and a grilled sandwich on another trip. Both were yummy and satisfying. The Italian was a bit wet and drippy towards the end tho. People behind the counter are super nice. Seems like the kind of place people go out of their was to visit. You do get too much to eat in a single sitting tho, consider sharing a sandwich or planning on taking some home, as they are super generous!! 4 stars. Yay!!“
“I recommend the Urban plates restaurant for everyone who wants to get a delicious food with an excellent service in a perfect atmosphere. They have nice people working there.Adriana is always the best, she has a very nice costumer service and she is a hard worker, adding Ana, Kaitlin and Jeared too.Thank you for your service“
“Instant favorite! Outstanding hole-in-the-wall establishment. Got 3 Uni as part of the generous sashimi lunch special. Fantastic fish protein quality, strongly competitive prices, lovely family-owned environment. Will go here again as soon as I'm nearby.“
“Our favorite place in Martinez! We love the food, cocktails, fabulous staff, and live music. You can feel the care that goes into everything they offer. Definitely get reservations because Roxx is popular with the locals and out-of-towners.“
“Solid brunch spot. Food was good, huge portions, and the option for bottomless mimosas. They have some good vegetarian options including an impossible patty. No reservations allowed, but you add your name to the check in list. Took about 30 minutes to get seated for a group of 4 (we arrived at 11am and were seated just after 11:30). We were seated in an outdoor tent that was a bit hot from the sun (no ventilation). Friendly servers and they were definitely busy. Were prompt on refilling mimosas though! Would return.Vegetarian options: Avocado salad was yummy. They also have egg and impossible pattysParking: Plenty of parking“
“Ok so first, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS, AMAZING, TERRIFIC, and so much more. Second, once you have ordered your food it will come in 15 or less minutes! Third, once you come into the restaurant, (you may have to wait in a line) the hostess will ask you for your name and phone number, if you want to be seated outside or inside, and how long the wait time is (about 20 minutes). Lastly, you should definitely consider coming to Jack's if you're feeling hungry! (They serve breakfast until 2:00pm and lunch all day.) PS you HAVE to try the Mac and cheese!Vegetarian options: You could get the omelet (which is very good) if you are looking for something that is for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: The hostess would ask you if you want a kid(s) menus. Plenty of options on the kids menu.“
“Wow, what a breathtaking view this restaurant has in the charming downtown of Benicia! The restaurant's setting was simply stunning, with tasteful decor and impeccable ambiance that truly set the stage for a delightful dining experience. Had a simple dinner with a glass of pinot. I opted for the pesto gnocchi, the pesto sauce was so divine that I completely forgot to snap a picture! If you find yourself on a road trip between the Bay Area and Sacramento, this is an absolute must-try. Both the town and this restaurant will undoubtedly leave your heart brimming with happiness“
“My family and I absolutely love this place! The staff is so nice! They make you feel right at home. Some of our favorites have to be the Santa Fe skillet, chocolate chip pancakes (of course!), French toast, and the Cobb salad! Everything is so reasonably priced and comes in LARGE portions! So come hungry or get ready to ask for a to-go box!“
“We found this place through a friend and we love it, the lady I care for loves good food, this is our go to place for yummy and great portions of food! Food is delicious, place is so cute, servers are attentive and kind, price is reasonable and the owner Tony is very nice and and makes you feel so welcome! If you want some good hearty food you won't be disappointed!“
“Saturday review, so beignets available! The best beignets I've had since I moved to California, but still not quite as good as New Orleans. The Workshop is basically a takeout window, but there are a couple of outside tables, so hopefully you can sit and have your coffee and beignets popping hot.“
“This was my first time to this restaurant, but I was not disappointed. I have significant food allergies, but I was able to make slight adjustments without any problem, and without any annoyance by our waitress. I had the beet salad and the deviled eggs, and both were delicious. I thought the pricing was fair and a good value for what was served. My salad proportion wise was very large. I would definitely go back if I am in the area.“
“Ok if I could give 6 stars I would!! It was a Saturday so brunch was in full effect and we had to wait around 30 minutes. It was worth the wait. I had Biscuit and Brisket (no photos too busy enjoying the food) and a margarita. Seriously everything was delicious!! So flavorful. Service was great. They sat us at a larger table so we wouldn't have to wait longer and our server was attentive and fast. We're definitely going back for dinner. And I want to check out their wine spot in Walnut Creek. Oh they have seating outside with heat lamps and inside too. It's family owned and you get a sense of pride from everyone! Go.Parking: The food is good and the folks who know are coming so a full parking lot tells you something. We find parking right across the street.“
“The restaurant is tucked just off the main downtown area. Relaxed open dining environment. Service was quick and attentive. I had the burger with side salad and crème brûlée for desert. Burger was cooked to order and the salad was a nice spring salad with candied pecans, feta cheese, and a simple vinaigrette. The crème brûlée was tasty but a little less crisp on top than would have been ideal. Overall a good place to grab a bite of comfort food.“
“Went to try Valentina's for lunch with a friend. Love the open kitchen. Clean. Very attentive staff. Food came out quickly. Very tasty. Highlight of the meal for me was the brioche bread pudding. Looking forward to returning for brunch.“
“Small, cozy cafe, very friendly service, very good coffee, very abundant and tasty dishes, huge and delicious biscuits... The best of all? Prices are very affordable! I will be backParking: Parking behind the restaurant with plenty of spaces availableKid-friendliness: Family atmosphere“
“Me and a few friends went out 'bar hopping' - I'm sober personally - I had asked for a cup of coffee truly not expecting much at all.I shared with my best friend beside me and we talked about it all night. I don't say this lightly ~It was the best cup of coffee I have ever had~“
“This place rocks! Serious seafood cookin goin on here! BIG servings of the freshest crab, mussels, squid, calamari and clams. Bread and butter was superb. My Cali fam took me here before I headed out on my journey north. Love the ambiance, service and great view of the Carquinez channel. Didn't want to give only a 4, but a 4.5...and that's because the crab legs were really salty. I will definitely come back when I'm in the Bay though!“
“This little joint, honestly reminds me of SoCal in the summer just wanting a charbroil burger. If you constantly go down to Anaheim or Santa Ana area, you know what I mean when I say this. There's not that many places like this in Northern California because everyone's at the main burger corporation spots. The service here was spot on and they were super patient with us on what we wanted, only because it was our first time there. I got the mushroom burger with all the basic toppings on it and I will say, that they cooked this burger exactly how I would eat it, if I were to make it at home. You do have to order the fries and onion rings on the side, but they do offer specials that come with fries or onion rings, but I wanted to actually try one of the burgers on the menu and it did not disappoint at all. I honestly murdered my burger within seconds once I took a bite - LOL. Yes call me hungry! Fries were cooked perfectly and the onion rings come with ranch. No need to ask, because they already have it with it - LOL. Those that love eating ranch with everything knows what I mean. Service is a 10, food is a 10 and the vibe is a 10! Will be making another round here no doubt.“
“My co-grandma bestie and I lunched at Yard House, had a wonderful server (Stephanie?)We ordered Brussels sprouts and chicken tenders to split halvsies.Delicious!!The computer at the table was for Stephanie to place the order, and she explained how to use it to pay when we were ready•We got the tab to split the check and each paid ours.“
“Cute restaurant with pretty dishes but the taste is a bit bland (not spicy) for Mexican food, quite oily, and it seems that the 3 dishes we ordered had some sugar or sweetener (they were a bit sweet instead of spicy, making this feel more "Americanized"). The food was good, just not what I typically prefer.“
“First off let me just this place is amazing! The staff is absolutely wonderful and just puts you in such a great mood! Jason the owner is a straight up a down to earth guy and you can really tell he loves what he does! The food cannot get any better! I wake up CRAVING this place! Such great generous portions with great prices! The vibe is immaculate here. The music is always making you dance in your booth and the servers are always a great company, they are so funny and just so caring! Mimosas: hit up your girl Katie for her secret menu! This girl can whip up almost anything you can think of when it comes to the mimosas! Overall this place will be my new favorite breakfast spot and I will be here for as long as I can!“
“We were absolutely thrilled to find this restaurant and give it a try. The customer service was outstanding and the food was delicious. They had many choices which included both small and big portions at great prices. The whole place was clean and the people were really nice. We will definitely come back again to try more tasty things! We had Birria Quesadilla, Birria Tacos, and Fried Chicken Fries. We loved the food and were stuffed! We left feeling happy and had a big smile on our faces. Only regret eating the food faster than we could take a picture of it!Vegetarian options: They have vegetables and good make things without using meat.Dietary restrictions: They are able to give thorough explanations about the food and all ingredients used. Tell them about specific allergens and dietary restrictions. They are very accommodating.Parking: Plenty of free parking in the parking lot directly in front of this business.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome at this business and I saw a lot of families eating together.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is wheel chair accessible and so is the bathroom.“
“The most unpretentious high end dining experience in the area. The venue is quaint with seating for about 20. Great choice of music playing softly in the background. I loved the husband/wife team approach. They seem to have the timing of everything really dialed in. They were both very pleasant and took turns serving the guests. The food was very good although the cheese plate with a huge slab of brioche bread was not my favorite course. My favorite dish was the morel with caviar. I also really enjoyed the carbonated pears. I recommend that you give it a shot. I will most likely dine there again.Parking: The parking lot is shared by the other businesses and can get pretty filled up.“
“This place has an amazing menu, served in record time by the friendliest staff. We have been going here for years and have never left less than satisfied. Their bad days are better than good days for most placesKid-friendliness: My kids love this place.“
“This was my absolute favorite place in Vallejo but they recently changed their menu and I'm so sad about it! The breakfast burrito used to come with an amazing mole sauce and now it comes with a tomatillo which was good but does not compare to before. Another reason I loved this place was the amount of vegan options they have available, they still have good options- the breakfast burrito has a vegan version with tofu instead of eggs, the black bean burger, avocado tacos, and the Korean bowl. They removed the tofu sandwich, the teriyaki bowl, and the Buddha bowl. I hope to they bring all of these back, they were so good! I also wish they served breakfast longer especially on the weekends instead of cutting it off at 11am. The coffee and service are always great however! They have unique flavors like cardamom and ube. They can get pretty busy but are always friendly and accommodating. Still one of my go to spots though for sure!“
“This being my third time here it was really a great atmosphere, the breakfast was delicious. The restaurant is an excellent place to go for anytime of the day .A very enjoyable outdoor seating excellent service and even got the pleasure of having Chef Gerber greet our table to make sure all of our plates where on point.Great experience overall!!!!!“
“Got a craving for a chili cheese dog?? Well look no further! Chars has the best Dawgs in Solano County! The Gem of the Tannery Building downtown, they offer every kinda hotdog flavor combo you could dream up! They have burgers too but for me it's all about the hotdogs and fries!Parking: Free street parking and parking at the Benicia Green.Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't love a hotdog!“
“I have been here twice and have ordered to go multiple times. The Ube pancakes are one of my favorite items in the menu but honestly you can't go wrong. The portions of the food don't change even if you're ordering to go. If you're in the area, you should check out this restaurant.“
“EVERYTHING is sooooo good! And she makes the BEST impossible burgers! So delicious you don't even realize it's NOT real meat! One of my FAVORITE go to places! The owner is so sweet and makes sure you leave happy and full! ?Wheelchair accessibility: I'm disabled and have no issues getting in and out.“
“First time here, the food is great and the menu is a good variety of both breakfast and lunch. The place is a little crowded sometimes, waited a while for seating and service, but the food is good and seems to be a good value. I don't like to pay over $20 for a breakfast plate, here you can do for $12 or $15 so thats good with me.“
“We mainly come here for their $1 Taco Tuesdays, which are excellent and better than a lot of the restaurant tacos which cost a lot more. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and if you're not a beer drinker soft drink or coffee refills are plentiful. One semi-negative is that I don't think their Thursday special "Big Max" is as good as the Mickey D's variety. Haven't tried their weekend breakfast yet but on the menu it looks good.“
“Great place to eat and get quality food. Everything is fresh daily and sandwiches are more than you can eat. Customer service is excellent and everyone is very friendly. They take pride in everything they do. The owner is friendly and makes sure that everyone is satisfied. The place is clean and music is great. They are now open until 6pm Monday thru Friday and 3 on Saturday. They even do catering which is great. If you are ever in Benicia make sure you stop by. I had the best experience with my family there. They even have kids meals and a mini meal which include a slicer fries fruit cup and drink. My kids loved it.“
“I’m a local and I’ve been here several times in the weeks since it opened, and I've enjoyed the experience each time. I’ve had two different sandwiches for lunch — the Pesto and the Chipotle, both of them fresh and tasty — and a good sesame bagel with cream cheese for breakfast (to go). The place itself is light and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful, and parking looks really easy (but I walked). Highly recommended!“
“Momo's Cafe in Vallejo is a gem! Despite being busy, the service is quick and friendly. But let's talk about the food--those seasoned potatoes are a game-changer! Perfectly crispy and seasoned to perfection. And the portion sizes? Generous doesn't even begin to describe it! Whether you're craving breakfast or lunch, Momo's Cafe is the place to go for a satisfying meal that won't disappoint. Five stars all the way!“
“My husband had fish and chips which he liked very much. The fish was crispy and hot. I had a fish sandwich. The fish was hot and crispy. The sandwich came with lettuce, tomatoes and pickle. I ordered before I arrived and the food was ready a few minutes after I arrived. The two gentlemen behind the counter were friendly and professional.“
“The owner is one amazing man! The epitome of customer service and bar tending. All the bar tenders were so knowledgeable as well as friendly. Despite having such a big party right at happy hour he made us feel seen and heard, was able to tend to every other party, and gave us a great experience. This will 100% be our go to bar since we’re local and hopefully we have the pleasure of crossing their paths again! If you have a choice come here and get a pickle martini!“
“Marc and team catered our wedding at the Brazilian Room, and we were extremely happy with both the planning process and the food/support on the day itself. The Arlington team are clearly pros at working in the Brazilian room - and had everything set up quickly and efficiently day-of - even though we had a shorter evening slot. The food was very good (especially the grilled salmon and pesto pasta) - everyone went back for seconds and we got many compliments! Marc was transparent and easy to work with throughout, and we thought pricing was reasonable compared to other vendors we looked at. Would highly recommend!!“
“Very good place to eat, very tasty food and full of flavor. Amazing Owners and very courteous staff. Been coming here for about 7 years now on and off, and what else can i say? except, come try the food. Thank you for making very delicious food.RespectfullyDenis Ramirez“
“We stopped because we saw they offered outdoor seating and that worked for the small dog with us. We were seated quickly and the friendly server brought us water for the dog while we chose our food. Everything tasted great and we were well taken care of.“
“Nice for the price. A good place to take a date on a moderate budget somewhere with a classy atmosphere and delicious, lovely dishes. Mostly seafood, but they did have a few non-seafood dishes. My only complaint was that my ice tea came pre-sweetened, but as I understand, that was a back-up powdered mix. They did replace it with an alternate unsweetened drink when I requested it.“
“Came here for the first time today. Me & my fiancé ordered fish & chips and Crab cakes. Food was good and tasted fresh and the fish and chips were very good. We had a great waitress as well which made the experience welcoming. Would eat here again.“
“Fun sports bar. Wide range of beers and liquor. Multiple pool tables, shuffle board, darts, hoops and corn hole. A good range of typical bar food: wings, burgers, salads etc. There's usually free tables. The car park is small and fills up early but there is plenty of free on street parking nearby.“
“This is one of my husband and mine's favorite breakfast restaurants. It is cozy, the staff is friendly and treat you like family, and the food is absolutely wonderful. The portion sizes are huge, and it's always tasty. Better than homemade. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“Our first time at Sal's and we were definitely happy and satisfied with the service and the food was great. The kids finished everything on their plates, and so did my boyfriend and myself. We definitely will comeback and recommend trying this cute little place in Martinez.“
“Good food. The younger girl spilled the smoothie all over the cup. Didn’t wipe it. And then tried to have me carry it. I almost ruined my outfit. I won’t be back for a while. Girl with the ponytail with highlights. Then they forget my raspberry bar. And when I TURN AROUND ALMOST 15 MINS AWAY TO GET IT, the young boy says “Did you forget your bar?” Like no. YOU guys forgot it. Never handed it to me. Nothing. They need to do better. Seriously.“
“Just had a great brunch with my daughter at Sherry's Kitchen! The food and service are consistently excellent. They had flyers up announcing that they are moving to a new location next week, and I wanted to post a picture of that flyer as a heads-up.“
“So good, I love their burgers. I usually get them with jalapeño. You can order using the kiosk on the front counter, so you can order as soon as you're ready. The staff is very nice and helpful. I do not feel like a burden asking for cups or sauces. I wish the burgers were a little less greasy, but they are delicious nonetheless! My mom loves the chocolate dipped cone.“
“Such a cool treasure! The location is a historical neighborhood with a view of San Pablo Bay and train line.Staff were fun, engaging and welcoming.Wish we had 3 more hours to take in all the tchotchkes and historical pieces. The Warehouse is a rare and special gem.“
