“Always pretty quick and the food is pretty good with reasonable prices. You can also order online e and have it waiting for you when you arrive. Only thing I'd wish they add is the daily specials to the website. FYSA, they only accept cards.“
“This coffee shop is beyond cute and gives off a certain cozy vibe. I wish it had its own location vs in the train station as I don't feel safe going in there alone which is the only reason I'm giving them a 4 star review. Their gelato ice cream is very creamy and great! I love ordering the cafe de olla latte it's very flavorful. I also like the vanilla latte. The owner is there working all the time and overall everyone is very friendly.“
“When I went it was during a very busy time and there was only two people running the shop. But I have to say the food hair was pretty terrific. If you're looking for a reasonably priced flavor packed meal, I would stop here. I don't think you could really go wrong with any of the meals here to be honest. Chutney was flavorful, the Masala Dolsa was crispy but with some fluff and packed with onions (which was a lovely surprise) and it honestly made me regret not ordering two plates.“
“We recently discovered the amazing Waypoint Cafe and had to share! From the warm welcome to the incredible food, this hidden gem has it all. The cafe can get busy, so arrive early (they close at 3 pm). Their carne asada omelette, tri-tip sandwich, and must-try lemon pancakes are simply delicious. Don't forget to try their refreshing mimosas too! We can't wait to go back for more unforgettable moments.“
“We loved this place. When we arrived, it was very crowded and no dining room seating. There were two seats at the breakfast bar so we sat there and I'm glad we did. This place has some of best breakfast around, and don't forget the cinnamon roll, and house-made preserves. Parking is not very convenient as it is a very small parking lot and a very small restaurant. You may have to wait a little But I guarantee you it is worth it.“
“This is The Cutest lil hidden gem just steps away from the beach. Come grab some Delicious grub and enjoy it here or at the beach! Definitely a fun cafe with huge portions, even the Mimosas were HUGE! ?? I recommend for the great service and food but most of all it's on the way to the Beach ?I love the sand everywhere ?“
“Cutely decorated quaint cafe. I was charging my car across the street and had to use the restroom when I discovered this place. They must have the beat banana bread I have ever had. The cream cheese spread and toasted warm bread is absolutely delicious!!“
“Old school mid century diner vibe right smack in the middle of Downtown Ventura... The food was good and the service was excellent. This particular trip I had a BBQ beef sandwich with fries (my arteries suffered but damn it tasted good) and split a shake with my wife.“
“We had the breakfast burrito and the quesadilla and they were very good with large portions. We will get 2 meals out of this order. The potatoes are nice and crispy and salted just right. We will come here again when we are in the area. Most seating is outside but they do have 7 tables inside.“
“Bottomless Mimosa for 20 dollars for and 1hr30min. Food is delicious! Service is great, located in a popular part downtown. Dogs are allowed from what I can tell for outdoor seating. Spanish/English speaking atmosphere if you're bilingual. No complaints! Must go to!“
“OMG, the açaí bowl was to die for! My girls tried it for the first time and totally fell in love with it . Plus, the people there were super sweet and made us feel right at home. They even had puzzles on a table, and the kids were totally into it, having a blast. I totally recommend this spot! The prices were really reasonable, and the latte? Oh, so good! We had such a great time there. And can we talk about the beachy vibes? Perfect after a long drive. They also had these amazing paintings for sale, and the whole place had such cool decorations that totally set the mood. Definitely 5-star worthy!“
“Great place for a coffee and sone avocado toast! While I was there, an employee was wiping down, handles and door entryways all around the store. I appreciate this attention to detail and cleanliness.Vegetarian options: Avocado toast is awesome here!Parking: Parking shared with donut shop and Valentino’s PizzaWheelchair accessibility: Yes, definitely wheelchair accessible“
“I ordered the Mexi Cali bowl with the egg and the margarita pizza with mozzarella cheese. Good in taste, ingredients, and presentation. Not great. One iced mocha lavender coffee and a hot chai tea latte. I asked for almond milk but they were made with oat milk. It was good though. I really liked the pastries. Nutter Butter cookie(which was recommended) and vanilla donut were outstanding. There are a lot of options on the menu. And the employees are wonderful. Lots of vegetarian and gluten free choices. I think it's definitely worth a try.“
“I ordered this morning online to pick up right before work. Good food and it was ready to go when I got there from my house. If you need a place that offers early morning take out with an option to order in advance via an app, this is place for you. I attached a screenshot of the location since the Apple and Google maps was going a little off when I went inside the complex area. Good place to eat onsite or pick up! I love the grab and go app ordering. I can't do this with any other place nearby because a lot of nearby places don't offer app ordering and are not open until 11am. This is my new go to spot for grab and go before work!“
“WOW WOW WOW WOW! We absolutely love this place! Family owned. All of the recipes are from the Grandma, traditional recipes from Mexico. This place is located in the old Woolworth's building in downtown Oxnard. There's parking on the street (love that there's no parking meters). There's two tables (more like picnic tables and benches) in front. The sandwiches are made with croissants (very light, fresh and tasty). We haven't had the crepes yet, but they do look very tasty too! We had the ham & cheese sandwich (with thick slices of both), guava empanadas (these are my absolute favorites here), and I had the cafe jesuita (sweet coffee). They also offer iced drinks, frappes, raspados, Oaxacan hot chocolate. Pastries: assorted cookies, flan, macarons (a variety of flavors). 10 different kinds of sweet crepes. The prices are very reasonable. Stop in and introduce yourself to one of the family members, Juan (dad to the owner).“
“Go for the Veggie Pho if you're a veggie lover. You can order extra veggies too which I may have done :)- I love a little chili oil added to my Pho to fancy things up a tad. It is busy here often, so I do feel a little rushed as they are trying to open up new seating.“
“This place is under new ownership and Silvia and Ken have so many great ideas for this place. I went there for breakfast today and had the Eggs Benedict. The sauce was so good. I'm very picky about my hollandaise sauce. They plan to start opening for dinner. Can't wait to try the dinner menu! I will definitely be a regular for breakfast And the staff is so sweet and on it!“
“For a on-base golf course, multil purpose eatery for base use, this place is on point. I have only bought the country fried steak and eggs but aside from them overdoing the hasbrowns a bit, which I eat all of, it's good. Quick on service, when the machines don't act up. Not their fault. great clubhouse and plenty of seating, when the seabees aren't wasting tax payer dollars drinking coffee and messing about. Lol!!! just kidding. Great respect for them.“
