“An amazing dining at Silverlake Ramen! Every dish was packed with flavor, and the overall vibe was fantastic. I still got to try their whole menu, but here's my first picks for chicken lovers:
Edamame – Fresh, lightly salted, and a decent starter.
Crispy Chicken Karaage – Super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside—an absolute must-try!
Spicy Chicken Bun – Perfectly soft bun with a great balance of heat and crispy tendered chicken.

Broccolini Sesame sauce - Fresh and light side, goes great with Ramen.
Shoyu on Fire Ramen – Rich, fiery flavorful broth with just the right amount of spice (request for spice sauce additionally) complemented by perfectly cooked noodles. Vegetables are well boiled and fresh with the soup.

Sapporo Beer – A refreshing japanese beer pairing with the meal perfectly.

Cleanliness is required on tables, chairs and floor as there was lot of spillage. Will be visiting again to try more from their menu.“

“I stopped in for a bowl of ramen and a beer on 8/10/24. I’ve been working and running in restaurants for 10+ years. The two people running front of house that night were absolutely wonderful. my food was great, but the reason I will stop in every time I visit home now, is because of their service style. They need to train every new employee on how to interact with tables. At every restaurant. In the whole world. :^)“

“Great ramen spot I've been coming to for years. My go-to order is definitely the spicy chicken (first pic). Another great one is the Black Ramen (second pic). Parking is quite tight since it shares its lot with other businesses, but it's still worth it. Couldn't recommend this spot enough

They must have the Ratatouille guy back there in the kitchen, tearing it up. That's the only way I can figure out how they make their ramen this bussin'.

“Just had dinner at this restaurant with my two sons. We had Tonkotsu Black, Tonkotsu Shoyu and Teriyaki Chicken Bento. Service was prompt, prices were good and the food was delicious. I didn't know we had good quality Ramen in Santa Clarita. We'll be back for sure.“

“Came here for my birthday and enjoyed it so much! The roles were very fresh and the booth we sat in, was comfortable with a private vibe. We got three large rolls and ended up taking one of them home. It was a lot of food. I also got a cocktail that was very strong!“

“I have been coming here with my family for years. The service is always great. The ramen is delicious. My favorite is the miso ramen. My husband’s favorite is the shoyu ramen. The gyoza is also worth trying, crispy and flavorful. If you visit, be sure to get the tofu salad, it’s so refreshing and tasty.

Vegetarian options: The tofu salad is vegetarian, but other than that, I’m not sure they have much in terms of vegetarian options, but you could ask.

Parking: It’s in a small shopping center with a small parking lot. The lot is often full, but there is paid street parking nearby.“

“I thought the shoyu ramen was good for portion size and the chicken katsu was somewhat authentic. Nothing seemed of about the restaurant. I get that some reviews mention their demeanor, however in their defense, I will say that they aren’t fully fluent in English(in the sense that their accent isn’t American) so it may seem like that. But anyway you gotta love a mom and pop restaurant.

“My local ramen spot in Valley Glen, Los Angeles, California on the border of Van Nuys and neighboring North Hollwood. Ramen Izakaya is great from take out or dine with a plethora of beverage options as well as eats. Available through doordashz grubhub and ubereats this small chain biz has an incredible creamy vegan ramen, spicy lemon grass ramen, veggie spring rolls, tofu nuggets, shishito peppers, edamame, rice bowls, salads, soups and lots of traditional Japanese and ramen dishes that will please your taste buds times two. They have some decent outdoor seating, but incredibly indoor and a huge parking lot in back. The service is always good and usually very personable. A unique Japanese cuisine eatery with some LA Valley flavor and modern plant-based flare.“

“Best Ramen I’ve ever had! The flavor of the broth was simply beyond! Bursting with silky layers of rich umami flavor. Delivered piping HOT! Both the mild and spicy tonkotsu delivered! The pork belly was cooked to perfection , melting in your mouth and not overly “fatty”. The egg was super jammy, cooked perfectly. I literally could go on and on.
Mango sticky Rice was devoured by my husband. The bite I asked for was top notch!

“I’m a local and always hit this spot up. It’s great quality, well priced and their ramen is better than many well renowned ramen spots in the valley. Honestly it’s under rated. It’s not “special” in terms of vibe it’s kind of cafe-style rather than fancy restaurant but I’d come here for any occasion and is an absolute staple for a quick lunch, a nice midweek dinner, and the service is always speedy and the staff are attentive and friendly…. honestly we come here like twice a week haha. First time here & we were immediately blown away by the service, Veronica greeted us so pleasantly & we were seated right away.

the menu made it very hard to order considering everything looks delicious, but photos do no justice, the food way AMAZING , if you haven’t been here I highly recommend stopping by

Kid-friendliness: When I visited almost every table had a child with the adults & looking at the menu you can tell they can create dishes for the most picky eaters, but this spot is obviously loved by all adults & children

“I never leave reviews, but as someone who loves sushi and has eaten at most of the restaurants and hole in the walls in the valley — this place is hands down at the top. The atmosphere isn’t fancy, more casual, but the happy hour deal and the quality of the food is solid. The staff couldn’t be nicer and more lovely. Highly recommend giving it a shot for a casual date night or if you’re craving some solo sushi time :)“

“Wow. The restaurant, first of all clean and looks like owner care and keep in good shape, restroom is nice and clean. Table has touch screen with menu with fast software and pictures that I can understand what to order. I ordered Ramen and Philadelphia roll with tempura outside. The roll was amazing with creamy Philadelphia, the rise was gentle and fresh-soft. Amazing. Ramen was so delicious, only the mushrooms were a little bit despicable. I paid $33.95. For this price I will give 5+++.“
