Parking: There’s a lot but it belongs to all the places in the shopping center so it can be crowded.“

“Food: they serve great Japanese food here from Raman to curry. I recommend trying the Katsu curry, the sauce is rich and very flavorful.

Parking: the restaurant has ample parking even though it’s in a crowded plaza. Spaces can be tight because the spots are tiny. There’s also additional parking behind the building. The main entrance is accessible via Sherman Way.

Tips: the Katsu curry comes with miso soup. They also have intimate indoor seating. This is a great place for takeout.“

“My local ramen spot in Valley Glen, Los Angeles, California on the border of Van Nuys and neighboring North Hollwood. Ramen Izakaya is great from take out or dine with a plethora of beverage options as well as eats. Available through doordashz grubhub and ubereats this small chain biz has an incredible creamy vegan ramen, spicy lemon grass ramen, veggie spring rolls, tofu nuggets, shishito peppers, edamame, rice bowls, salads, soups and lots of traditional Japanese and ramen dishes that will please your taste buds times two. They have some decent outdoor seating, but incredibly indoor and a huge parking lot in back. The service is always good and usually very personable. A unique Japanese cuisine eatery with some LA Valley flavor and modern plant-based flare.“

“My girlfriend and I came in here looking for some solid ramen and got exactly that. She just got back from Japan and explained how it’s the exact style of ramen they have there. I’m a self-proclaimed food snob and this was easily the best ramen I’ve ever consumed. Plus, the cucumber appetizer will blow your mind.

I got the classic tonkotsu, she got the miso ginger. Both were incredible. The broth, the egg, the noodles (both vegan and not).

The service was also incredible. The host sat us at “his favorite table.” Our waiter, Rainer, was extremely kind and asked a ton about us. When we raved about the cucumber appetizer, he told the chef, Alex, who then came out and chatted with us about the dish, where we’re from, and our love for food.

“I've been going to this Ramen spot for a couple of years now, and in my opinion this is the best ramen I've had. I've been to places in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, but I think this place comes out on top.

“I had the pleasure of stopping by Jinya Ramen Express on Hollywood Boulevard, and I was really impressed! The ramen was excellent — full of flavor, perfectly cooked noodles, and a rich, satisfying broth. It’s an express-style restaurant, so there aren’t any seats inside, but I had no problem enjoying my meal outside using one of their tablets, which made for a convenient and casual dining experience.

The only downside was that the person taking my order didn’t seem particularly motivated, which was a bit of a letdown. But the quality of the food more than made up for it! If you’re looking for a quick, delicious ramen fix, this is a great spot in the heart of LA. Highly recommend!

“My wife and I stopped by here to grab a late lunch. We found parking just fine on Labor Day near Ulta Beauty and walked to Silverlake Ramen. It's located behind Finney restrauant so you can't miss it near the kids play area. When we walked inside, they were not busy at all and seated us right away. We started off with 2 water and their spicy edname. I knew what I wanted but my wife was choosing between the classic or blaze so we asked our waiter. He recommended the blaze because it has more spice to it so my wife chose that with chicken and added the mushroom. I got the Shoyu on Fire with chicken at medium level. Our ramen noodles came out quick and my wife totally loved her selection. I give her my corn that came with my soup and she really like it. I like my Shoyu as well and it had a kick to it. If you have T-Mobile then you'll likely won't get reception in there so the waiter told me to connect to Finney wifi. Our dining experience was excellent and our waiter was amazing with us. He kept checking in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. We would come back and highly recommend this place.

They took our order of Vegetable Tempura, Miso soup and a couple of rolls. Husband enjoyed his pork chashu bowl: perfect size and for $9 can’t go wrong! Satisfied my sukiyaki craving for $13: so tasty, so filling and came out piping hot. Also enjoyed their Thai tea with boba.
