“I enjoyed my first visit to this small, no frills, strip mall Chinese restaurant! Upon being seated I was handed a small, multi-page paper menu containing many familiar dishes. I was intrigued by what they call “Snow Hill Chicken” so I ordered it in a Lunch Special. It was delicious, that I can tell you! Made with tender diced chicken in a dark cashew nut sauce with vinegar, wine and soy sauce plus a dash of white pepper. The menu labeled it as “spicy” but it wasn’t really that spicy. It did have a nice tang with a great flavor and perfect wok hei. I may try this again next time in beef form. The Lunch Special included soup, wonton chips, an egg roll and rice. It’s really a great value and a generous amount of food for only about $11. Very affordable for a nice sit-down meal in California these days. The service was rather surly and matter of fact but that’s usually what I expect from a family run Chinese establishment. I look forward to visiting again soon.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ma’s house in Poway, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best in the area. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The food was outstanding. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor.“

“My partner and I stopped in for a change-up in our usual picks. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant setting is quaint and familiar feeling. The service was fantastic with both the chef and server being very nice and considerate. The menu is full of different options to try. We ordered the spring rolls and two tofu dishes. All of it was good and freshly cooked. Remember to give the food a minute to cool down before you dive in. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is from not being wowed, but it's not a bad thing. It's a staple food spot with standard food taste and quality. You won't be upset stopping by, but you maybe wouldn't go out of your way ro try it again if you weren't in the area.“

“Looking for a replacement Chinese Restaurant, since my favorite closed down. Ran out of options in Poway. So decided to give 369 a try. They had a few Chinese options, so tried the Broccoli Beef lunch special. I was pleasantly surprise, very good flavor and large portions. The regular portion would feed two. They also sell Beef Chow Fun. I normally have to get this at a sit down place. Theirs is pretty good. One day I will try the Ramen.“

“I love the workers and food here. Most of the time that I come here, I pick up or order the family meals. Once in a while, I order 1-person meals. The workers are always professional, even during peak hours. I always get the food warm and tasty.
I've always received my food at reasonable times. I would never mind waiting 25 minutes for a family meal or 15 minutes for a 1-person meal. I always expect that they're busy and that they can run into any unexpected problems. However, I've only had one serious issue in the past with an order that they were able to make, but didn't and prioritized in-person customers.
This was some time in 2021 or 2022. At around 1:50pm, I placed a 1-person order online before work (1 side, 2 entrees). I went to pick up the order around 2:05pm (15 minutes later). The order wasn't ready. I told the cashier about my pick-up order. The cashier mentioned that they were working on it. While waiting, I saw the workers taking new orders from several in-person customers. Some of those customers got their food immediately and the others got it about 5 to 12 minutes after they ordered. I ended up getting my food around 2:20pm, even though I had ordered my 1-person meal around 30 minutes before they did. This is the only serious issue I've had with this Panda Express. One of the workers apologized about the long wait time for a small order. Other than that, they've always been great with customer service, quality of food, and serving time.“

“First time here, was pretty good. You get assigned a table; then you go up and grab your bowl to make your hotpot (at least a pound) . You can get a second bowl for skewers and hand it to the counter , I would recommend getting all your hotpot stuff first then going back for the skewers so its easier on your hands. Would go back again.“

“The best Hunan food in San Diego! 热卤三结义 is really authentic!!! The sauce is bold—savory, slightly spicy, and deeply aromatic with layers of spices and flavors! The service is warm and welcoming, attentive! You won’t be disappointed if you come here for the most authentic Hunan food in town!“

“One of the best Chinese food places in San Diego, Ca. Everything is super tasty and doesn't leave you feeling bloated like other Chinese food places. I gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because at lunchtime it can feel super crowded. Other than that it's a definite go to when I'm around that area. I always call my order a few minutes ahead and I'm in and out of there quickly freeing more of my lunchtime break to enjoy my food.“

“Took me 15 years to discover this restaurant, love it here! Our go to is 100% soup dumplings, do not leave here without trying them. Broccoli/scallion beef and Kung pao chicken are our favorites but I haven’t had anything I haven’t liked yet. They also have homemade noodles here, pay a little extra for those for your noddle
Dishes and soups. My favorite part about eating here is there is no “food hangover” or energy crash after eating. You feel light on your feet when you leave. Also they have a great beer menu! Pricing in the image below, it’s very fair, and that might be the best part!“

“Braised beef noddle soup, dumplings in chili oil, house made dumplings, everything was fresh and delicious. The spice amount was on the mild side but adding chili oil provided at the table can take the heat to another level. Definitely a winner!“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants for noodles. I've tried several of their dishes (biang biang noodles, liang pi noodles, big chicken plate, stewed beef noodles, and stewed lamb noodles) and all of them were delicious. I love how the noodles are made from scratch, it's just a completely different taste and texture compared to dried noodles.“

“The BEST noodles shop in San Diego....Period.
Super friendly and welcoming staff no matter how busy they are, and they're always busy.
The Food is excellent and different than other Chinese restaurants because it's from a different region.
Halal meat served which is a Huge plus.
Clean and organized dinning room every time we come. They have a glass window where you can see the chefs making your noodles fresh right in front of you. We always comes here and the kids love it.“

“On a Sunday night. We had a group of 12 and ordered the $498 family meal plus a lobster with noodles. This is my 2nd time there. The place was packed. It is a small restaurant. there were 4 large groups, as well as couples and groups of 4. The food was good, not your panda express kind of food. And the service was top notch. Food came out fast. They even changed out our eating plates. Even with 12 people, we had 8 to go boxes.“

“Legit. I lived in China for several months years ago and became semi obsessed with the cuisine and avoid Americanized or fake Chinese food. This place is legit, we've gone 3 times, tried a bunch of different dishes. Regionally it's a bit of a mix, but there's a full on China-Chinese menu as well as the English one, and the food is very like what you'd get at a good restaurant in a Chinese city. Every time I've been if gets pretty busy and probably 80% of the clientele are Chinese. That's strong evidence that my opinion is on point.“

“TOO GOOD ! It's been way too long since we have eaten here...close to 21 months. Even though there are heaps of Asian eateries around Irvine where we moved to in Nov, 2022 no one serves authentic Chinese food like this place. Forget about the cheesy ambience inside an old movie theater that is mostly an Asian supermarket...it's all about the incredible food. WEEKEND GETAWAY ! My wife and I hit the road at 10.30am on Friday to kick off our fun packed weekend down in San Diego. We hit heavy traffic as expected but better earlier than later. FIRST STOP ! We arrived here for lunch around 12.30pm. While my wife parked our car I headed inside to the restaurant....to my surprise Joe the long time manager recognized me straight off and showed me to a vacant table in the corner. TOO EASY ! When Joe popped over to say hi I gave him our lunch order. We knew exactly what we wanted...1 x Kung Pao Shrimp and 1 x Honey Walnut Shrimp. Joe came back with a pot of Jasmine tea and 2 tall iced waters. IT WAS PACKED ! Before too long Joe brought out my wife's huge serve of Honey Walnut Shrimp. Within 2 or 3 minutes my delectable looking Kung Pao Shrimp hit the table. MOUTHSATIONAL ! Trust me no one serves authentic Chinese food as good as here. My Kung Pao Shrimp tasted amazing...no tails on the shrimp and it was kicked up just enough. My wife was in gourmet food heaven enjoying her Honey Walnut Shrimp but I did have to pinch a few of her juicy shrimp with walnuts. THE BEST ANYWHERE !“

“I saw online that this shop serves Northeast-style spicy hot pot, and when I arrived, I discovered they also have a newly launched surprise blind box of marinated dishes. I bought the large box for $10, which contained beef shank, chicken gizzard, pork head meat, pork ears, duck liver, and more. By the time I took the photo, I had already eaten most of it. The price and portion were truly surprising, and the taste was excellent. The Northeast-style spicy hot pot was also very good—you pick your own ingredients, they’re weighed, and then freshly cooked. The broth had a sesame paste flavor, which I really liked—it was delicious. Additionally, I ordered some fried skewers, and I highly recommend the chicken gizzard. The seasoning on the fried skewers was fantastic.“

“I ordered the clay pot rice, which is very fragrant. The roast duck is a must as the marination is just perfect. Shrimp was on the greasy side and I’ll avoid next time. Turnaround time could be improved as I arrived at 4pm when they first opened up and didn’t get my complete order until 515.“

“To go buffet review only: I’ve been here several times and swap between the 99 Ranch buffet. Ultimately, Woo quality, portion size is better than 99 even though it’s $2-3 more. Had the beef with broccoli, chicken with mixed veggies. Both very good and tender meat. Rice was good also. So, today not bad as it’s been less satisfying other visits.“

“Hidden in a shopping area and not visible from the parking lot. Typical Chinese menu. Generous portions. Service was attentive until we had finished, then an unreasonably long wait to get the check (which seems to be a common practice in many places these days).“

“A friend and I decided to try this place for lunch.
The server was Excellent. I think her name was Jenny. My friend had Orange Chicken.
It was a large portion and the lunch came with either Egg Flower soup or Hot & Sour.
Both were very good.
It also came with delicious Egg Rolls, crispy Won Tons as well as steamed or fried rice.
I had Pork Egg Foo Young and it was Excellent.
Hard to find Egg Foo Young on menus.
Extremely clean and pleasant atmosphere.
I can hardly wait to go back and try other items on their large lunch menu.“

“Xiao long bao pork steamed dumpling were the best we had. The wontons are good but the brith is clear and insipid, we actually brought them home to add very tasty homemade broth. The fried pork and chives dumpling were very well hand made not greasy, crispy bottom. The sauces are just chili oil and soy sauce, we will definitely order to go next time, eat at home with our favorite condiments since I think these would go great with Sriracha and good quality Japanese soy sauce I buy next door @ 99 Ranch.
You can watch the ladies making everything from scratch in the back, super cool and so much work involved. Parking in the back is best. You can also get some delicious bbq pork or duck in the place across from this. Very clean. No bathroom.“

“It’s been ages since I last visited this restaurant! A friend raved about their Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs (Guobaorou), so I came back with some friends. The portion of Guobaorou is generous, and it’s truly delicious—crispy and flavorful. We also ordered Jellyfish with Vinegar Dressing. The jellyfish here is quite thick and chunky, not the smooth, silky kind I’m used to, so I wouldn’t recommend it.
Then there’s the Braised Local Chicken in Iron Pot. The picture looked super tempting, so I specifically asked if it came with the steamed rolls (huajuan) shown in the photo. The waiter told me they only have steamed buns (mantou) instead. When it arrived, turns out they’re machine-made frozen buns bought from the supermarket. This dish is a letdown, so I don’t suggest it either.
On the bright side, the Sizzling Pork Kidneys were pretty good! We also wanted to order Peking Duck, but it requires advance reservation—make sure to call ahead if you want to try it.“

“Overall: The food was good, very authentic, and it took 20 minutes for the food to come out.Fish with sour soup: The flavor is strong! But it was the perfect mixture of spicy and sour. I would highly recommend it pouring over and eating over the rice.Spicy Noodle Soup: Again, more spicy than sour. However, it was the perfect Mala spicy-nessLocation: Its in a plaza lose to the Qualcomm work place with a lot of the other places to eat. The parking might be limited if it is a busy day.Service: Food came out fast. You know its authentic when you see a lot of Asian people eating there too. The ambiance was nice too, clean and minimally decorated.Price: It's a little pricy for my taste. However, the quality is good.“

“My father turned 82 today and picked Pick Up Stix for his birthday meal. When my mother went to pay, Jack (the cashier) noticed that my mother had a retired military dependent identification. (My father served 23 years in the US Navy) He told her that they qualified for a military discount, Jack didn't have to do that, but he did and I am really appreciative. My folks are on a fixed income and every break on their budget helps. Thanks Jack! Truly awesome!“

“When we entered there wasn’t anyone, and tbh the restaurant’s design looked a little bare… it almost looked like it wasn’t doing well. When the food came, my entire family (with three kids) loved it. We were here for lunch and ordered noodles, and I could just say it’s comfort in my belly. Tho they took our order wrongly and served us an extra bowl of noodle (and we paid for it), we took it bcos we wanted to try something else from the menu.
A senior lady (I suppose she’s the one who cooked the dishes) came out and asked if everything was alright, and even gave us a free bottle of drink. Oh, there was also a small crowd also flowed in during our meal as well.
Would recommend!“
“To be honest, this isn’t the first place we planned to go to, but I’m really happy that they have a karaoke spot with good food! There are 10 of us, and the only room available was the Large one, which costs $60 per hour with a 2-hour minimum, so we paid $120.
The place is spacious with a lot of food options to try. Unfortunately, most of the karaoke songs are in Chinese or other Asian languages. I’m Filipino, and I noticed they don’t have Filipino songs and only a limited selection of American songs. I don’t mean to sound negative, I just want to have a good time with good friends and great karaoke. The staff are very nice though, and I hope they can upgrade the song selection soon. Hehehe“
