“This place holds a special place in my heart. I grew up in Poway, and back then, this was the cheapest way to fill your stomach. To my surprise, it still is!!
I love the California burrito here, and although it’s different from what one would normally classify as a “California burrito,” it remains one of my favorite renditions of the dish. Back when I was living out of state, even if I only had one night to visit SD, I’d spend my dinner here every single time without fail.“

“Took my dad here for Father’s Day and he said it was the best steak he’s had in 10 years. Grain & Vinehouse doesn’t play around—dry-aged ribeye, perfectly seared, with a smoked butter that takes it to the next level. I had the crab ravioli in lemon cream and nearly licked the plate. Great cocktail list, especially the smoked Manhattan. Service was top-tier without being stuffy. They even gave my dad a free dessert with a candle. Five stars, easily.“

“I am a tough critic and Lupe's earned all 10 stars. Super friendly, free chips that were made perfect, Carne Asada and Adobada was superb. Tortillas prepared perfectly. Salsa in bowl blew me away. Prices are too low. Excellent all the way around.“

“We got to eat on the patio, it was wonderful. We had a newborn and 2 year old and it was warm enough to keep them warm. The food was great, our server Maxamillion was friendly and portion sizes were good for the price of food. Would happily come again!“

“Awesome burritos! Huge, fresh, and tasty. Honestly growing up here this place has had its ups and downs but in the last year or so something changed because everything I get here is now bomb.
Breakfast burritos are amazing!“

“HUUUGE and delicious carne fries. I’ve been hunting for some decent carne fries in north SD for a while now. Think I’ve found my spot. Costly for the large fries, but also two meals here. Fresh pico, fresh guac, fresh everything - completely unexpected as it was a late night pickup and I assumed I’d be getting the leftover scrapings of whatever they had remaining from today’s service - boy was I wrong. Definitely worth giving them a try!“

“I used to come only for their carne asada burritos, but I have since added their Surf & Turf burrito and their healthy chicken bowl to my favorites! ?
The employees who have helped me have been nothing but wonderful!
Parking: There's a relatively small parking lot adjacent to the building, but I've never seen it full as I think most people either drive-through or walk up to El Armando's. There's also a short side street that can be parked along.
Wheelchair accessibility: I believe there's a ramp that allows for access to the walk-up order window.
There's no inside dining, just the drive-through and a couple outside tables.“

“I love this place because you can always count on them being open during the holidays. I work in the service industry and work every holiday; and while most taco shops are closed within all the surrounding areas, our boy Oscar awlays comes through. I went last night and you bet your sweet tuchus I'm going again tonight. LOVE YOU OSCAR“

“So, if you’re ever in Poway and craving some fast food with a Mexican twist, you’ve got to hit up Taco Bell on Poway Road. I've been there more times than I can count, and it's always a solid choice. They’ve got all the classics—tacos, burritos, and my personal favorite, the Crunchwrap Supreme.
One thing I really appreciate about this Taco Bell is how clean it is. The dining area is spotless, which isn't something you can say about every fast food joint. Even though it gets pretty crowded, especially around meal times, the service is super fast. The staff is really friendly and efficient, so you never have to wait long for your food.
The drive-thru is also a lifesaver if you’re in a hurry. The food is always hot and tasty, and the prices are great if you’re on a budget. All in all, Taco Bell in Poway is definitely worth a visit. It's my go-to spot when I'm in the mood for some quick, delicious food.“
