“When not working remote from home and am in the office for a meeting. Noodles & Company is my go to spot for lunch, and I also get the Japanese Pan noodles with an order of grilled chicken or steak. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Can't go wrong!.“
“Lovely atmosphere and outstanding service! The spring rolls with pork and yummy peanut sauce were delicious. Chicken stir-fry also delish--vegetables were cooked yet still slightly crispy. Pho broth very tasty. Pleasurable dining experience“
“This is definitely a hidden gem in Folsom. I've never had Burmese food before and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the dishes were. Prices and portion sizes are good. The food is also super fresh and flavorful. So I'll be going here again for sure.“
“Tee is so kind and makes every single guest feel welcome and appreciated no matter how busy the day is. I’ve yet to find a better Thai spot that can beat the food, value, atmosphere, and overall experience! House of Thai fried rice is my go to!“
“Ramen comes to mind when the weather is cool and raining! Ever since I heard Pipo Ramen & Rice is on the Top 100 Places to Eat in Sacramento, I have been wanting to try this place. It's located in South Sacramento, off 65th Street, in this quiet plaza with plenty of parking. We came here for dinner a little before 6:00 pm on weekdays, and we were the only customers. The place is clean, tidy, and spacious with a high ceiling. We sat down and were given the menu and water right away. At first, I thought this was a Japanese/Ramen restaurant because of the name. After looking at the menu, it turns out it's a Thai restaurant. Either way, I enjoy both Japanese and Thai food.I love duck, so I immediately knew I wanted the Crispy Duck Fried Rice. I was surprised that the duck breast was served on top of the basil fried rice, instead of diced and cooked together with the fried rice. I really like that because I can see what part of the duck I'm eating. It's also delicious! The duck was crispy and savory. The basil and Thai seasoning add unique flavors to the fried rice. Generous portion. I would definitely get this again. 5/5We also got the Tonkotsu Ramen. It's your typical ramen with the standard toppings and ramen egg (ajituske tamago). The broth is creamy and not too salty. It really is perfect for the rainy weather. 4/5The service was great. The server was friendly and checked on us a couple of times. We can't wait to come back and taste other dishes.“
“Let me tell you.this was my first time going and I ordered online. Glad I did. It was packed with a line waiting due to no seats...( good sign) I pass everyone and go to register to pick up my order.. I got 2 #2 pho ( good) and a shrip and sausage spring roll..( fresh) I drove aways because i seen 4.5 stars they had and had to try.. everything was amazing I will be definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends.. keep up the good work and thank you.“
“First of, the customer service here is beyond amazing and nothing negative here. The servers here are all so kind and thoughtful but don't give me started on the food, I can tell that the food is made carefully especially the drinks. The only downside is that there isn't enough customers to also enjoy this.“
“Unexpected place that has great food & service. The Tom Yum Goong soup was the perfect on a cold rainy day. Perfect balance of spice and ingredients. Was able to smell the ribs before they arrived at the table. There were great also! The waitress was friendly, timely and responsive. Definitely a place to try if you're in the mood for Thai food.“
“Today is my first visit to the restaurant. I am impressed with the quality of food, the quality of service, and the quality of the atmosphere. I am not typically lucky with holes in the wall, but I must say this is definitely an exception. The gentleman David, who took my order, is awesome, and so are his cooks! Thank you!Vegetarian options: Veggie chow mein.“
“I recently dined at Bodhi Bowl and was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of their vegetarian dishes. The menu offered a wide selection of flavorful and healthy options. I particularly enjoyed the creative use of fresh ingredients in their dishes., I would recommend Bodhi Bowl to anyone looking for delicious vegetarian food.“
“This place serves best chinese & vietnamese foods.. i love the Pork Kidney with egg noodle! The staffs can speak Vietnamese/ English and friendly. The place is not huge but big enough.. so be aware of quing. Overall, i will be back when i have a chance to visit Sacramento again ?“
“Food was amazing! Mango salad was perfectly balanced. Bun Bo Hue broth, condiments and side veggies were delicious. The only thing I would say is that the meats need to be cooked longer so they can be more tender. The escargot was delicious as well but a bit chewy for me. My partner did enjoy the entire platter himself though. The razor clams were perfectly seasoned IMO, but it may have been a bit on the sweet side for my partner. Lastly, the service was pretty good. The owner came by to check on us quite often and made small talk. Overall, the experience was pretty awesome. Give it a try!“
“The Vietnamese food here is always good. This place can be busy at times, but your food always comes out really quickly. Some of our favorite dishes are the shaken beef cubes, spring rolls, seafood noodle soup, chicken pho and the barbecue meat plates. Try the pork chop plate. It comes with a bone-in thin cut marinated pork chop that has been barbecued, a very decent helping of rice, soup and salad. The portions are very generous so you will never leave this place going hungry. They also have a large drink menu that includes Thai tea and boba drinks. They do have some outdoor seating but I haven't seen it used recently since the pandemic. Perhaps they'll open up outdoor seating again during the summer time? Recommend this for place for dinner or lunch. You won't be disappointed.“
“This Korean BBQ restaurant exceeded all my expectations! The quality of the meat was exceptional, and the variety of cuts offered was impressive. The interactive grilling experience at the table added an extra layer of fun to the dining experience. The banchan (side dishes) were plentiful and delicious, complementing the BBQ perfectly. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring we had a fantastic meal from start to finish. I can't wait to go back and indulge in more of their mouthwatering offerings“
“This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat. I haven't eaten here in years and it was still amazing. My favorite is the chicken salad, that with some fried rice is a great quick dinner. I used to eat here once a week when I lived across the street. I'm glad to see that it's still around and just as good.“
“5 stars for kalbi jjim, i can see why it's the main star here it's pretty delicious! I tried their haemul kalguksu too which was also good, packed full of mussels, shrimp and has a cute sized crab in it as well. I don't eat shellfish but had to try and enjoyed the noodles. I definitely want to try their other soups here. Enough leftovers to last me 2-3 nights lol. Wang Mandu was also wanging. They were humongous.“
“The ramen here was amazing, the vibe is young and ready to eat some spicy ramen. I loved the egg as it was just superb and added so much richness to the broth. The takoyaki was hot and fresh but the squid didnt come through the batter still a great flavor tho. Ramen bowl was big and plentiful and the pork was just amazing in every bite.“
“Yummmmmm!!! My first time having this type of noodle soup dishes. The broth was super flavorful and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The crispy pork was in fact CRISPY. I love how they garnished the dish with pickled cabbages, pickled long beans, peanuts, and bamboo shoots. It really elevates the dish. If you ever try this place, don't forget to add their spicy chili oil! That brings the dish to a whole new level.“
“Best pho in Sacramento, hands down! This spot is owned by a Vietnamese family, who will be the ones cooking and serving your food for you. Their service is always 10/10, they're fast and accommodating. The restaurant is clean and well maintained, prices are awesome as well.“
“Just recently found this hidden gem. Probably the best pho I've ever had! I like to order No.4 beef pho. Big portion but the price is still lower. It can be very busy sometimes, so after you are stated you have to wait for a while to order and get your food delivered.“
“Walked in, place was clean, open , airy. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful with menu and suggestions on the food. The food was tasty, plentiful, quick and delicious!! Can't say enough about the staff. Friendly and top notch!! We will be back.“
“First visit tonight, takeout. Called ahead and the man who answered was epitome of Thai = polite, soft-spoken, service-oriented. He was able to answer all of my questions without issue. With veggie and chicken Tom kha soup, no seafood Tom kha, I opted for yellow curry chicken ($14) and brown rice ($3). One question I asked was if the curry was enough for two. His answer was perfect. He felt no, but everything about the call, my intuition that he's likely the owner of a locally-owned business and running the show solo, and the fact this Thai spot was in my bookmarks for a while, I ordered. The curry was more liquid than sauce and larger pieces of solid foods than expected but perfect medium spice (as requested) and the flavor was excellent. It'll make 1.25 to 1.5 servings for me. I'm happy. I plan to return. Khxbkhuṇ (Translation: thank you)“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pattaya Thai Cuisine in Sacramento and I can confidently say that it was a fantastic experience. I decided to try their pad Thai, and it did not disappoint. The pad Thai at Pattaya Thai Cuisine was simply amazing. The flavors were well-balanced and the dish had the perfect combination of sweetness, tanginess, and a slight hint of spice. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of chewiness. Additionally, the portion size was generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. The service at Pattaya Thai Cuisine was also exceptional. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and made sure that all our needs were met. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for a delightful meal.I must also mention that the prices at Pattaya Thai Cuisine are reasonable, considering the quality and portion size of the dishes. You truly get great value for your money here.Overall, I highly recommend Pattaya Thai Cuisine in Sacramento, especially if you're a fan of pad Thai. The dish was delicious and the overall dining experience was excellent. I will definitely be returning to try more of their authentic Thai cuisine in the future.“
“I got the C1 to share with my boyfriend. It was massive, it's the rice plate with everything on it essentially. We got the grilled pork and it came with, egg roll, fried egg, pork floss, sausage, etc. This really hit the spot, especially since we haven't had rice plates in a while. 100% recommend Bon Mua for rice plates, it's always delicious!“
“Excellent--- try Mieng Kuh~~ 7 ingredient small wraps. ;)Beef salad was Xcellent, as was the pumpkin curry.Nom~~AND they box leftovers up For you!! More places should do so. Tho they should do so at the table--I myself prefer at table so I can see food is ensured cleanly packaged.Def revisit!!*3/8 - ~So good we returned 2 days later!“
“First time eating inside this place, but I have ordered takeout from another location in sac. We came around dinner time and we're immediately seated. I had high expectations since I knew their food was good. I ordered something different than my usual (beef pho) and instead ordered bun rieu. I've had the authentic dish before at a viet party and it was bomb so I also had high expectations because of this.Overall the bun rieu broth was great!! Very flavorful and I could taste the crab in the soup. I loved the abundance of crab meat balls and the noodles were cooked nicely. The tofu on the other hand was dry and tasteless but the soup made up for it. 9/10. My sister ordered the banh mi, grilled pork. She gives it a 9/10. It was a bit on the pricier side for the size it was but it was delicious and the extra cabbage and cilantro on the side was great. My sisters bf ordered the bun Bo hue and didn't have the same experience as we did and rated it a 1/10. He said that the soup wasn't flavorful and the spicy oil was the only thing that gave it some flavor, the noodles were over cooked and the beef tasted like it was boiled in water for too long. Service was good though and the vibes were chill.“
“Exploring this locale as an out-of-towner, I opted for the vegetarian pho—impressive flavors and incredibly fresh! Despite the modest staff, a quick and efficient service was delivered by a diligent female and male duo. The spot is impeccably clean, although not swanky. While the multitasking waitress, who also handles cooking and cleaning, may not check in frequently, their politeness stood out. I also had a Diet Coke, and the final bill, including tax, amounted to $16.50. Cheaper than most fast-food nowadays.“
“I'm a pho lover, so I have tried out lots of places but I got to said that this is one of the best pho places that I have tried in Sacramento. Definitely recommend it especially if you want to get good pho early on a cold morning because they do open early than other places.“
“A nice Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The waitresses are nice & friendly. We had the pho Dax biet large size & it was a refreshing broth. The price is quite more expensive if compared to other Vietnamese restaurant. But definitely worth to try.“
“This place is my go-to restaurant for inexpensive, simple yet delicious noodle soup.I had the combo noodle soup. It had shrimp, chicken, and veggies; it was delicious. My partner had beef stew, which was also delicious. Give this restaurant a try. You won't regret it. ?“
“Wow this place actually slaps. A Viet coworker recommended to me the dry clear noodles here bc that's what they're known for, and said the pho and rice plates are good too (but I only tried the dry noodles). Took a good 40+ min for our (party of 6) order to come out but worth the wait. My critical family approved of the food. Tried dry noodles, sweet and sour soup, claypot fish, and spare ribs. The ribs were whatever but it came with pickled veggies which complimented the ribs. The sweet and sour soup was so good and my grandparents were raving about it nonstop. The dry noodles were good after I added some vinegar to it. Would come again if I had a lot of time to wait.“
“Had lunch with my parents, brother and niece and nephew today. It was my first time eating at this restaurant. My brother really enjoys eating here. The atmosphere is nice and it was somewhat busy. The portions are huge, especially if you get large and extra large on the soups. I had an extra large traditional beef noodle soup. I definitely had leftovers. I also got the deep fried shrimp. The shrimp was fine. Not very flavorful. The soup broth was not as flavorful as I've had at other places. Not bad though overall. I do like that there were different types of meat such as tripe in it.“
“Some of the best hibachi I've had in ages. I just don't understand why they don't have white sauce / yum yum sauce / shrimp sauce / Sakura sauce, whatever you wanna call that sauce... I've never been to a hibachi place that didn't have it. Strange. Didn't even seem to know what I was talking about. Eager to please and gave me more of the sauce the hibachi was cooked in instead, lol. Hate to take a star off for that, though, but just have to, cause it would be prefect with it, and wasn't without. However, otherwise, absolutely recommend, totally wonderful, good food, great service, good vibes. Just byo yum yum sauce, I guess...“
“The sweet potato shrimp IS SO FANTASTIC!!!!!?This is the only place so far I found in Sac to have Bún chả, a crispy pork and meatballs dish served with a sweet fish sauce to dip in. BUT the grilled pork they use isn't how I've had overseas, I'm told it's supposed to be pork belly but they just use a regular pork cut.The Bún Bò Huế it's yummy, big portion, comes with two pork hocks, lots of meat and vietnamese ham. The broth is so yummy. The noodles are overcooked though.(Edited Mar 21st 2024 due to review being stuck in pending, but I just ate here again and it's still good)“
“A tall gentleman on 12/19 around 12:20 took my order and his attitude was amazing. Just upbeat and polite. I got my food quickly and it was delicious. The place itself was clean and you'll need a code for the bathroom. I wouldn't have left this review if it wasn't for the cashiers Great attitude.“
“I have tried many Chinese restaurants in Sac. But haven't found any I've been crazy about. This place was surprisingly good. I just had the chowmein and broccoli beef but they were both delicious, lots of meat and not greasy at all, looking forward to trying other things there.“
“To get down to the point, this is excellent Pho. I've lived all over the country and everywhere we go we always eat Vietnamese, Thai, and Indian (north and south). We have had authentic Vietnamese Pho and this place does a great job. We have very good friends who are Vietnamese, so I have a pretty good idea of what Pho is suppose to be. Everything was fresh and the broth has the right depth of flavor. The broth is where you know right away if you're getting "good Pho." I will say for the ambience of this place, it's fun and young. I know that makes me sound old. They have it setup for a younger crowd and take orders via iPads. If you're looking somewhere to get good Pho that is fun and family friendly this is a great option. The price was in line for what I expected in California as well. The portion was very large, even for the small/regular size. I got 2 large meals out of it.“
“The Beijing Cafe might be a tiny little spot, but it's one of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to in many years. The food is stellar, the portions are very generous, and the price is incredible considering the cost of... well, everything else in today's world.I had the General Chicken, it's a guilty pleasure I admit, and I just love it here. The chicken portions are really great quality meat and the breading between that and the sauce is just the right thickness and wonderfully crispy. It's probably for the best that I don't get to Rancho Cordova too often or my diet would be off the rails. But as a little treat on the days I cycle to allow carbs, it's perfect. So good!“
