“I’ve been coming here for months and more often within the past few weeks.

Food quality has always been great, and I’ve always loved the design of the place. Been a while since I’ve seen Christian, so I’m assuming he’s not around anymore. That really sucks because Christian was the BEST. The service is still nice, but just not what it used to be. Not close to the same energy. None of the employees even look me in the eye for some reason. One time when ordering, it felt like the cashier was talking to someone behind me lol

Still great and highly recommend. I always get the pesto and sundried tomato sandwich and/or salmon bowl. Friends favorites are the chimichurri and the banh mi sandwiches“

“This little place has a big menu of Hawaiian foods. My boys always get the spam loco Moco. I like to get there poke With spicy, crunchy salmon And spicy crunchy tuna. Lots of flavor and they do have brown rice there which I really like . Go there on Tuesdays to Poke and more for poke is the best price of the week.
This place is just down the street from Ry’s poke who just opened up. I have been going there for a while and I definitely recommend it. They have lots of different flavors to choose from On their poke Menu and they will let you taste test any of them. I really like their Poké bowls here they’re really good.
But if you want super high-quality poke Go to Ry’s poke down the street It’s definitely top-notch and the premium is cut Just enough to fill a small container to serve probably about 10 people. Then they make it fresh again.
I recommend both places are both very good Ry’s will cost a little more But you’re Paying for freshly cut tuna and sometimes you might have to wait a while before you get your poke because it is freshly cut. But as well worth it!!!❤️😄👍“

“This is a great concept for a takeout restaurant with prepared meals. I got the cilantro rice, spicy black beans, a buddha bowl with tofu, and honey spicy sweet potatoes for a great price. Some items were 25% off because they were going out of date the next day, but they lasted in my fridge, and still tasted fresh, for 3 days. They also have meat entrees, but I really appreciated their vegan options. The only reason I didn't give Everytable five stars is because they use more oil than I prefer. The food is yummy, but wish they'd use less oil, at least on the vegan dishes. And, the service was helpful, especially for my first time there. The location in Torrance has a small area with tables and chairs and they will heat up your food, if you prefer your meal warm.“

“Love almost all of their dishes and buy here frequently, however, the Adobo Hot wing (expiration date 4/11 purchased/consumed 4/7) did not feel as fresh as their typical standard for the rest of their meal that I love so much! Especially the herb dipping sauce didn’t smell fresh. I absolutely was excited to see that they have wings tho but I will stay away from that particular dish & will continue to pick up their other great dishes!“

“First time trying their poke but it was so refreshing in this summer heat! Tried their Signature Poke and a tea which came well portioned in terms of protein and had a nice amount of sauce. Cost-wise it is a little bit on the more expensive side for a poke bowl so I don’t know if I would come here often. A nice thing to try once!“

“Wow! I was very surprised and impressed by the quality and taste of this fish! I got the fisherman's basket and they sent out a trio of dipping sauces. Very tasty very yummy. “This was the first time coming here and on a Sunday at 1, I had the whole place to myself. The crunch roll was the first to eat and I couldn't wait to eat it so that's why there's only half of the roll left. As you see I wasn't playing and the roll was well worth it. Fresh and tasty. A roll of egg rolls was a must with the sweet sauce to dip. The teriyaki combo was tasty in its own way, but hands down the crunch roll is a must. I will be definitely going back.“

“I have an unreasonable amount of affection for Nordstrom restaurants. West or east coast, if there’s a Nordstrom restaurant somewhere near me, I’ve probably eaten there. I’ve had a Nordstrom card forever. I’m the audience for this place. So Bazille in Torrance isn’t getting judged against some imaginary standard. I’m judging it against a lot of Nordstrom meals. And the frustrating thing is that the food here is mostly very good.

The chicken tacos are probably the thing I’ve ordered most. Crispy shells, ground chicken, avocado, cheese, greens, that cilantro chipotle situation happening on top. When everything is right, they’re fantastic. The flavor combination just works. They can get a little sloppy, the chicken has occasionally been aggressively salty and they don’t travel particularly well. My most recent delivery arrived with the tacos already getting soggy despite ordering the aioli on the side. Still good. Just nowhere near what they are fresh at the restaurant.

The cilantro lime chicken salad is essentially the same universe dismantled onto a plate and it’s another favorite. The chicken here is surprisingly good across the menu. The chicken katsu is solid, the burger is excellent and the kids’ menu is legitimately useful if you’re eating with young children rather than treating them as an inconvenience somebody accidentally brought into the restaurant.

The tomato basil soup deserves its own mention because that thing survived delivery beautifully. Piping hot when it arrived and tasted exactly as it should. Even the fries are good. Just do yourself a favor and ask for them without the rosemary unless rosemary on french fries happens to be your thing.

Where Bazille loses me is service. It’s wildly inconsistent. I’ve had one server here repeatedly who is fantastic. Warm, attentive, remembers what the table needs, everything you want. Then I’ve had visits where getting basic things feels like filing paperwork with a municipal government.

The host stand might be my least favorite part of the restaurant. The physical setup itself is awkward. There’s this strange barrier/bar arrangement where you’re never entirely sure where you’re supposed to stand or whether anyone has acknowledged you. The welcome can range from genuinely friendly to complete indifference. For a Nordstrom restaurant, where hospitality is supposed to be part of the proposition, that inconsistency is particularly noticeable.

And apparently I’m not imagining the service issue. Other recent reviewers describe staff chatting among themselves, difficulty getting refills and forgotten requests. That’s pretty close to the inconsistency I’ve experienced myself. I can’t speak to some of the more dramatic complaints in the reviews because they didn’t happen to me and I’m only reviewing what I’ve experienced.

The room itself is pleasant, although the architecture is a little peculiar and depending on where you’re sitting, the California sun can absolutely cook you through the windows.

But here’s the simplest test. Will I come back? Absolutely. There are too many things on the menu I genuinely enjoy, the kids can eat here and when you get one of the good servers, Bazille reminds you why Nordstrom restaurants have been such an oddly reliable part of my life for so long.

Fix the front of house consistency, pay a little more attention to execution and this could easily be a five. Until then, it’s a very solid four.“
